Hello people! :) I've finally logged on, but I'm not sure how active I will be.

Reedwhisker is one of my favorite background characters in the series which might be shocking to some people since he doesn't have a lot of personality or appearances in the books until recently. However I disagree... I feel like he already has a pretty good personality. He's shown to be brave, compassionate, and very loyal to Riverclan. As seen in Mistystar's Omen, he instantly helped his clan in the face of danger when the dogs attacked the apprentices.
And more recently in the Shattered Sky when some of the Riverclan warriors were injured in the skirmish with Darktail's Kin, he was one of the four cats taken as prisoner. Mistystar rejected this but Reedwhisker bravely said it was okay and that he would protect the other RC Warriors. Those other prisoners were his family. Mintfur being his son, Icewing his daughter in law, and Brackenpelt his great granddaughter.
Some people don't want him to be Riverclan's next leader, but I think he's more than ready and that he'll be a great leader of Riverclan. It would be nice to see him get even more development.
Anyway what's your opinion of him? Do you want him to be Riverclan's next leader? Comment below!

I like him, but I don't want him to be leader for the same reason why I don't want Tawnypelt as leader. He's too old, and I don't want to see leaders to be related.

Sometimes I forget he exists. And it feels like the Erins are only giving him a personality now, and screentime, just because Mistystar will kick the bucket soon. I'd much rather have a different cat then him become the next leader. I'm kinda tired of seeing Bluestar's descendants floating around.

I admired his will to avoid pledging his allegiance to Darktail. He was the last to do so, and only did it because he no longer had a choice. He reminds me of Stonefur in that sense--which is awesome since that's his uncle an all.

Yes I agree too. I'm not tired of seeing Bluestar's descendants though. she was a good leader and what happened to her in her story was sad. I would like her spirit and skill to live on. It would also be completely unfair to kill off Oakheart's and Crookedstar's kin as well.
