[ If you made the coding, I might suggest increasing opacity of the second layer of code (the text box). The coding overall is gorgeous, so it would be a shame to have to change it too much. ]

Just as long as she isn't like, a master, because that takes years of training. Natural talent is totally a thing, especially if she already acts like her spirit animal- meaning to say the racial bond is close.) (My Kiluga sense is moving slow… ugh. Sorry, I’ll attempt to get something up for him soon. Also Milli were you going to do a Berin starter, or did you need more Jethro to go off of?) xxx Kamaria darted after Zane, her drowsiness finally fading away with the excitement of a hunt on the horizon. ”Yeah,” she agreed, slowing her pace as she caught back up with him. ”The Lake sounds good. What do you wanna hunt, though?” She mentally checked the list of forbidden animals. ”We can’t get bison, but, then again, there aren’t a lot of those down by the lake. We could try for boar or something?" She licked her lips slightly, then added, "Or we could try to fish." Zane nodded, "Yeah, fish would be nice." He was more of a trapper and a fisher, not so much a hunt a wild boar down and kill it kind of guy. He would do it if that what it came to, but he would probably leave the chasing to Kamaria. He lead he out of the small camp area, waving to the sleepy tribe member tasked with night duty. He looked around as they entered the woods and noticed how the sun filtered toward the trees to make patterns across the ground. Suddenly, he felt like running and his legs shook with the want to merge with his bond and shift. Neige, his bond, always got like this whenever there was space to run. Zane could sense his restlessness so he looked over to Kamaria, a small smile tugging on his lips, "Want to race to the lake?"

(Sorry these are all kinda short, studying for AP exams and finals.)
Kamaria stopped dead in her tracks, a huge smile crossing over her face. “Heck yeah I want to race!” she cried, her voice nearly shaking with enthusiasm. She hadn’t ever gotten in a race since… well, since her brother died. “As long as you think you can keep up, horse boy,” she quipped, turning back to Zane with her eyes sparkling.
xxx
Kiluga rolled his eyes. His father was much easier to pull one over on than his mother. At least then he knew he wouldn’t be punished, even if he was caught. With his mother, it was more up in the air. “Yeah, yeah,” he grumbled, snatching the clothing from his mother’s hands. “I’m not a baby. Go dress Berin or something, and leave me alone.”
xxx
Jethro was surprised to see Berin was already awake. He was sure the young boy had been asleep when he entered the room. Even more surprising was the fact that he was wearing clothes he had definitely not been sleeping in when Jethro left him last night. Still… “Couldn’t sleep?” Jethro chanced a guess as Berin’s face flushed deep red. “It’s okay, I won’t punish you. I just want to know what happened.”
xxx
Noel turned as Erie approached, the sound of footsteps alerting her to his presence. “Oh, hello,” she said, smiling slightly and raising a hand in greeting. Alari let out a quiet squeak of indignation, but Noel tried her best to ignore it. “I have a pushy fox on my shoulders,” she remarked, shooting a sideways glance at Alari, who leaped off Noel’s shoulders to sit by her feet instead. “How’s your morning going?”

One of the things I did was quote people's coding, then go into the bbcode tab and see how they did all the cool little things they did. That and a website I found that taught the basics. And a whole lot of trial and error lol.)

ah sorry for being late to make my form but here: treerain §|§ Kaiya Baislannya §|§ Leopard Kaiya is a tall 15 year old girl, with shoulder length slightly wavy, thick brown hair. She has a tanned complexion, and is rather thin, but with still some lean muscle on her. She is usually thought of as the shy quiet type when you first meet her, due to her tendency to stay to the back of official affairs with those who are not close to her due to respect, but if you are lucky enough to be one of her close friends you will find she has quite the sense of humor, and a rambunctious, rebellious spirit. She deeply cares for those in her tribe that are close to her and is very empathetic with all animals. especially her spirit animal Jagu'uairi. She doesn't keep him in camp but prefers to spend time with him outside of camp , occasionally to hunt, but usually to just share news. She is close to being able to shapeshift, and is a late bloomer because of that, but she is still hopeful that when she does, she will be one of the best shapeshifters in the tribe. (Looks good! Sorry I haven't been on for a few days, been doing school stuff so I don't fail lol.) Ah, I'm so sorry I poofed for a bit. School got a bit hectic. Can you catch me up with whats going on?)

I understand how you feel. I just took the AP US History exam this morning so my brain is mush..)
Zane hadn't expected Kamaria to be so excited over the prospect of a race. It was sort of charming to be honest. A small chuckle escaped his mouth and he nodded. He readied himself, his right foot back and arms by his side in the classic runners stance, "All right then. Go on three. One, two..." and before he ever said three, he was off. Within seconds of his take off, he shifted mid stride. His hooves hit the ground propelling him forward at amazing speed. His dapple grey coat was stark against the green foliage of the forest. He shook his mighty head as he ran, thoroughly enjoying the thrill of the run and his small cheat.
---
Paisley scowled down at her son. Such attitude! "Don't use that tone with me." She turned away from him so he could change, her arms crossed over her chest, "You know, I have no idea where your morning grumpiness comes from." She shook her head slightly and planted her feet. The mother had no intention of leaving.

Battle's Characters Username §|§ Character Name §|§ Spirit Animal §|§ Rank Description
lozi §§ Lachlan Stone §§ Dire Wolf §§ Loner - { 21 years old } - { male } -
Lachlan is toweringly tall, standing at 6’1”, so he never has to worry about straining his neck to look up at someone. He isn’t noticeably muscular, but looks can be deceiving, right? He sports a very sharp jawline, clean shaved, and normally twisted into a cocky smirk, accompanied by a grey blue stare. Three long scars run diagonally over his right eye, from his hairline to just beside his nose. His hair is black, medium length, coming down to just above the nape of his neck, soft in texture, and not styled in any particular way. His right ear has two helix piercings, halfway up. He is normally wearing a black leather motorcycle jacket over a grey button up shirt, with black pants.
The dire wolf is the largest species of the genus Canis. Just looking at Lachlan's wolf form, you can tell he is not a nice doggie. He holds himself imposingly, with the same critical grey blue glare. He has a very defined jaws, with the long canines of a dire wolf, packing a powerful bite force. His build is heavy and muscular, and looks larger than it really is from his thick jet black fur. He has long legs, and terribly sharp claws on large paws. He has mane-like fur sticking up down his neck, forming a sloppy mohawk of sorts. The tips of his mane fade to a silvery grey. His chest and underbelly are stormy grey, only slighter lighter than his black fur. His black tail is shaggy, and has a silvery grey tip. Lachlan has the same three scars over his right eye, a sure sign of some animal’s dirty play in a fight. The scars have not regrown fur, leaving ruts in his thick fur. His right ear has two helix piercings, halfway up his ear.
To put it simply, Lachlan is a wild card. When confronted he is unpredictable, cold-hearted, territorial, and aggressive. He has a very cynical outlook on life, believing that no one can have your back better than you can. He has very short-patience, and can be prone to becoming angered without warning. He's very bitter about the things in his past that he has not come to terms with, that still play with his head at present. He's a very shady character over all, but only on first impression. Some days he wonders if it’s all just an act, because he fears trusting other people, or having to rely on someone. In the end, he is only human, and can't stand being alone. Sometimes, in desperation, he tries to make a friend, something that he would consider a weakness. He has always imagined himself as truly independent, and able to survive on his own. Since he has many shady secrets, he gets blackmailed, or ratted, provoking a sense of mistrust in everyone. For the time being that he is friends with someone, he is very protective, and even shows a slight sign of kindness. He'll make a joke from time to time, and, get this, he just might smile. Lachlan can be prone to becoming hell-bent on revenge. He is very strong willed and hot headed, and will not hesitate to fix a wrong against him, or one of his friends. In fact, much of his current situation is on revenge. He had been a young pup when his father was deemed a traitor, a murderer. No one could ever see Lachlan the same way. His father was on the loose, and in an attempt to prove himself to the tribe, he killed his father, and tried to show that he had good intentions. However, this only seemed to prove more of a sign that Lachlan was a cold-blooded killer, just like his father. Shamed, he ran from the tribe, never straying far, set on getting revenge. He lives on the territory, constantly moving so as to not be found. Although he doesn't quite know how to do it, Lachlan is still planning to bring the tribe to its knees.

She turned away from him so he could change, her arms crossed over her chest, "You know, I have no idea where your morning grumpiness comes from." She shook her head slightly and planted her feet. The mother had no intention of leaving.
“Cheater!” Kamaria cried, laughing as she raced after Zane. Within a few seconds, her body was contorting, shifting into its leopard form. Leaping forward on all fours, Kamaria strained to catch up with Zane, muscles hurting already. Turns out a lack of activity can weaken your muscles. Still, Kamaria managed to pull up besides Zane, now in his animal form as well. There was only a small stretch of woods left now, then it was clear terrain until they hit the lake. Kamaria knew she didn't stand a chance against the horse on open ground. She had to make her move now. Leaping up, the young woman launched herself into the trees, sending a shower of branches and other debris down onto the forest floor beneath her. Hopefully the rough terrain would slow Zane down. Kamaria streaked across the branches, panting heavily as she strained herself. I have to win. xxx Kiluga rolled his eyes again, setting the woven fabric down on the floor next to him. “Probably you,” he grumbled, rising to his feet slowly. “I was getting up just fine and then you come rushing in here saying I'm not going fast enough or something. It's barely even dawn!” Kiluga pointed his finger out the doorway of his room for emphasis, but there wasn't any window there, just dull light.

(Setting wise, yeah, that's a good way to think of it. Except I'm not sure if the tribe would have contact with 'normal' humans; probably not. Unless that becomes a plot. But your characters names can be nearly anything you want them to be.)

It's barely even dawn!” Kiluga pointed his finger out the doorway of his room for emphasis, but there wasn't any window there, just dull light. As the tree branches fell directly in front of him, Zane reared back onto his hind legs to stop himself. He let out a long whine before calling out to her, "Who's the cheater now!" The obstacle, while not difficult to pass, had cost him valuable moments and the tide of the race had turned on him. He took one step back and then he leaped over the now huge pile of branches, clearing the stack with ease. The moment his hooves came down on the other side, he pushed himself into a dead sprint. It wouldn't be enough to catch the leopard, but he hope he could gain some ground on her while the path was clear of Kamaria's dirty tricks. Up ahead, the trees would open up so that was his chance to hopefully overtake her, but he wasn't optimistic. She was simply faster them him. His chest heaved with the effort of the run and his nostrils flared. He welcomed the feeling of his muscles straining; it was something that he didn't get to feel all too often. In his effort, he had gained a little of the ground he had lost and he burst through the treeline a few moments after the leopard had. Now the real race began.
---
Paisley huffed at her son's dramatics, "Oh it's dawn. Trust me. Your father wouldn't have stomped into the hut if it wasn't dawn." She turned around to see that her son hadn't changed yet and she looked at him exasperated, "Why aren't you dressed yet? I swear you are slow as a slug sometimes." This really wasn't the morning for his apathy. She strummed her fingers against the small wooden table topped with trophies and hides to her left, becoming more impatient every second her son resisted getting up and ready. However, she took a deep breath to cool her head and fixed her eyes on her son's form.
Kilgula was small for his age. Small, but unusually muscular and intense. Oh so intense. And his eyes, like burning embers and sunshine, held a hostility that Paisley had never quite understood. Tribe members said he got his hot head from her and she was inclined to agree, except she didn't see herself in the haughty attitude he sported with the others. She also didn't see herself in the way he carried his pride around like a weapon. She glanced down at the floor, saddened for a moment by her observations. Had she raised him to be like that? She didn't think she had, but maybe she had done something wrong. She shook her head lightly to rid herself of the bitter thoughts. Kids would be kids. One day, he would meet someone bigger and stronger than him and he would have his pride struck to the ground. That day might be sooner than he realized. And besides, she wasn't here to scold him today. In fact, she was here for a totally different purpose.
"Stop lingering. We need to head out soon."
