Jethro stood at the top of the hill the Alpha’s hut, watching over his Tribe as they began to stir. The sun was just peeking its golden head over the horizon, and with the first rays, the Tribe would awake. Then the entire clearing would be a bustle of activity and hunting parties. Jethro relished these few moments before dawn, when the Tribe still slumbered and all was quiet. He stretched slightly, before turning back into the Alpha’s hut. Better check to see if anyone is waking up yet, he thought. xxx Noel was already wide awake, trying to make as little noise as possible as she got ready for a trip. Alari was waiting in the doorway, curious nose sniffing every one of her friend’s herbs. Noel chuckled slightly. “You helped me find all of these,” she whispered. “Why are you still curious about what they are?” Alari tilted her head, staring up at Noel with wide brown eyes. Noel sighed, shaking her head as she fastened a makeshift bag around her waist. “Alright,” she said, following the fox’s lead out of her hut. “Let’s get going then.” xxx Kamaria was busy snoring outrageously. She was still fast asleep in her hut, completely oblivious to anyone attempting to contact her. Not that she minded. She was having a wonderful dream. Paisley slept lightly on her bedroll in the alpha's hut. Her chest rose and fell with her breathing and every so often her fingers twitched lazily. She had never been one to get up super early (her husband was the early bird), and it was like her to sleep through the sunrise and into the early parts of the day. This morning however, she woke at the sound of her husband reentering the hut. Slowly she stirred and reached over to the empty side of the bed, discontent to find herself groping at nothing. She opened her eyes and took in her surroundings. It was no surprise that Jethro was up and at it and her eyes squinted towards him. "Why must you be so loud, you old Bison?" The quip was good natured, but gruff and muffled by the cotton pillow, "I'm trying to sleep." --- Zane stretched as he exited his small hut. He was ready to get the day started, eager to resume life as usual. Off to the side, he heard what sounded like a boar snorting, but alas it was only Kamaria. He smiled slightly at the noise and shook his head. The woman was known for her loud snoring, and it was one of her endearing qualities. The man walked over to her hut and softly hit his fist against the side, "Kamaria, wake up." He called out to her gently, his voice low, "Kamari..."

Jethro chuckled slightly as his wife’s voice reached his ears. “It’s nearly sunrise,” he said, pausing slightly in the entrance of the room they shared. “Maybe you should be trying to wake up.” He sighed, smiling slightly as he began walking again. “Well, I’ll go wake Kiluga and Berin. Don’t want them to become lazy bums like their mother,” he jested. xxx Kamaria lazily cracked one eye open as a pounding noise reached her ears. A voice followed soon after, most likely telling her to get up. “Mmmmgmgmhhh,” she muttered, putting her hands over her ears before turning over. She didn’t care who was calling her- only that it was still far too early to wake up. “Go awhay… I’m sleepin…” She closed her eyes, trying to fall back into the welcoming black recesses of her dream. It really was a wonderful dream. She could see it now... xxx (They're kinda short, srry. I have it on good word that my friend will finish Berin today, so I feel confident mentioning him. He's a smol boy.)

No problem! They are a perfect length.)
Paisley pulled herself into a sitting position, her curly brown hair flopping down in front of her eyes. She yawned widely and put her hands in between her outstretched legs before letting her head hang lethargically. This was her morning routine: pull herself up and sit for a minute or so before actually making the effort of starting the day by getting out of bed. When she finally mustered up the energy to leave her comfy bedroll, she said to her husband with only a little venom,"You can kiss my lazy bum." Slowly, she moved towards the small mirror on the other side of the room. Her reflection gazed back at her and in a millisecond, she realized it was going to be one of those days. The Alpha gathered up her mid length hair into a messy bun, using the twine by her mirror to hold it in place. She then dressed herself in her traditional tribal wear, a long dress like robe that she cinched at the waist with a beaded belt.
---
Zane knocked on the hut again, "Kamaria, the sun's up..." If the girl didn't respond this time than he would eave her alone. He didn't want to disturb her, but the camp was coming to life with others exiting their huts. He looked around to see if the Alpha's were out and about and when he couldn't find either of them, he took a sigh of relief. But it was the norm that they rose at sunrise and went to bed at sundown, so Zane called out again, "Kamaria." He paused, "The hunters have brought back food. You're going to miss it."

Jethro moved towards the back of the Alpha’s hut, where his sons were still sleeping. He started with Kiluga. He was always much harder to wake up than his brother. Moving over to where the Initiate was sleeping, Jethro kneeled down next to Kiluga. “Hey, it's time to get up,” he said, gently shaking his son's form. Kiluga grunted, rolling away from his father's touch. “Fine, fine,” he muttered. “Give me a minute.” Jethro smiled, sighing slightly. “Alright,” he said, ruffling Kiluga’s already messy hair. The Initiate tried to stop him, but was still too tired to do much effectively. “I'll go wake up your brother, then come back for you.” Kiluga grunted in response as his father began moving out of the room. Jethro shook his head, still smiling widely as he made his way over to the room where Berin slept. ××× ( lazy penguin You got Berin yet? I can stall more if need be lol) ××× Kamaria’s ears perked up slightly at the mention of food. She slowly drew herself into a sitting position, letting out a gigantic yawn. The dream wasn't coming back anyway. It never did. Sighing, Kamaria rubbed her eyes attempting to wake herself up. “What is it?” she asked, her voice still thick with the weight of sleep. “The food. Or was that just a tactic to wake me up?” Kamaria slowly rose to her feet, using the wall as support. “Cause it worked…”

ah sorry for being late to make my form but here: treerain §|§ Kaiya Baislannya §|§ Leopard Kaiya is a tall 15 year old girl, with shoulder length slightly wavy, thick brown hair. She has a tanned complexion, and is rather thin, but with still some lean muscle on her. She is usually thought of as the shy quiet type when you first meet her, due to her tendency to stay to the back of official affairs with those who are not close to her due to respect, but if you are lucky enough to be one of her close friends you will find she has quite the sense of humor, and a rambunctious, rebellious spirit. She deeply cares for those in her tribe that are close to her and is very empathetic with all animals. especially her spirit animal Jagu'uairi. She doesn't keep him in camp but prefers to spend time with him outside of camp , occasionally to hunt, but usually to just share news. She is close to being able to shapeshift, and is a late bloomer because of that, but she is still hopeful that when she does, she will be one of the best shapeshifters in the tribe.

She ran a hand down her face and come upon her husband as he went to wake Berin. She stopped him with her palm and then kissed him on the cheek as was their morning custom. When they had first married, they had decided to always share a morning kiss on the cheek, no matter how mad or upset one of them was at the other. She tilted her cheek to the side to wait for his return peck.

Zane smiled sheepishly even those Kamaria couldn't see him through the walls of the hut. He said in way of explanation, "You were snoring really loud... Plus the sun rose a few minutes ago. Time to get to work." His voice was soft and filled with humor, "We could go hunt if you would like."
(So short! Sorry!)

(That’s cool! Don’t worry about it being too short, it is rather chill after all lol. Let me get a quick Noel update going for treerain ‘s character, if they want to pop in.) xxx Noel made her way through the early morning bustle of the camp, almost losing track of Alari several times as the small fox darted around. She sighed, finally catching up to the animal at the edge of the clearing the camp was settled in. Crouching down, Noel picked up Alari, gently setting the fox down around her shoulders. “Now then,” she said, beginning to step out into the forest, “What was it you wanted me to see?” xxx Jethro was caught off guard at first by his wife, making the kiss she gave him all the more pleasant. He had nearly forgotten their morning ritual in his rush to wake the boys. Smiling, he returned the gesture. “Sorry,” he whispered, offering a second kiss as an apology. Drawing away, Jethro added, “Kiluga’s started waking up. I was just about to go check on Berin.” xxx Kiluga was not, in fact, waking up. The way he saw it, his father would spend an eternity trying to wake up his insufferable little brother, then forget all about checking up on him. Jethro had a habit of trusting him- a habit which he was quick to take advantage of. Smiling at his own cunning, the Alpha’s son rolled himself back over, settling himself down for what he thought would be a long day of nothing at all. xxx Kamaria made her way to the front of the hut, peeking her head out to look at her assaulter. Zane. She sighed, her eyes squinting from the sudden change in light. “I guess you’re right. It is getting bright…” She considered Zane’s offer for few minutes, eyes blinking rapidly as if to bring her eyes back to the darkness they were accustomed to. “How good is a horse at hunting?” she asked jokingly.

Paisley smirked as she received two kisses from her husband. She patted his chest lightly, "You go wake up Berin. I'll make sure Kiluga is up." Her son had been known to go back to sleep after her father went to wake him, something that she herself had done multiple times before. The boy was a little too smart (and too sassy) for his own good. She moved past her husband and entered her oldest son's room, not shocked to see that he was still in bed and trying his best to fall back asleep. Paisley walked up to his bed and ripped the sheets off of his form, "Get up." Her tone was forceful and snappy, "If I'm up, you're up." She shook him once for good measure.
---
Zane rubbed his neck at her joke, a small smile gracing his lips, "Honestly? Not very good. That's why I need a leopard to help me." In reality, he was better at trapping then active hunting, but today he was feeling the need for something different. He stepped away from the hut to give the young woman a little space. She would need to decide soon if they were going to avoid the morning heat.

sad §|§ Erie Houma §|§ 28 y/o §|§ Sumatran Tiger §|§ Tribe Member Erie is a very tall and muscular man, reaching at about 6'3" and weighing at around 215lbs in human form. His jet black hair is known to be quite long and messy, as it reaches around his waist and he normally wears it braided with amber/brown feathers. Rumor has it that when his hair is let loose, he's known to look even more terrifying than usual. His eyes are thin, however the sharp hazel color of his iris and dark long lashes make his eyes much more noticeable. Erie's facial structure is thin, yet his jaw is very pronounced due to his fang-like teeth. His cheekbones have two black strikes on each side of his face, and another going down the center of his forehead. Erie's whole body is covered with black viney/striped tattoos; going down his arms, back and legs- alike to his spirit animal. You'll normally see Erie wearing hooded robes, alike to an assassin's clothing due to the fact he wanted clothing that was maneuverable yet still easy to hide in. He is known to be stern and knowledgeable. He's a very decent fighter and strategist, and he normally takes things very seriously- he doesn't get along with kids very well. He's quite moody for the most part, however he's known to be a loyal member of the tribe and deep down he's very protective of every member. Erie is known to love cloudy weather, and also enjoys different types of flowers. You can most likely find him relaxing in a shadowed place. A lot of others think one of the main reasons why Erie is so focused on being a loyal and helpful member is because he was not tribe-born, as a small child he was found severely injured on the territory.
sad §|§ Lux Gitksan §|§ 13 y/o §|§ Albino Burmese Python §|§ Initiate Lux is at an average height for his age (around 5'5"), however has a very lithe body alike to his sister, Umbra. Lux has ivory toned skin and fluffy platinum blonde hair, that reaches around his ears, to the nape of his neck. He wears a mask on his face, which is made to look like a white snake with multiple tribal patterns (this was made from wood). Most people have not seen his face, but without his mask he has pale blue eyes and dark brows and lashes. His face is thin, and he has a small button nose. Lux has a tattoo of the yin-yan symbol on his right forearm. You'll normally see him wearing a pale shirt which is cropped at the elbows, with a pair of pants which are bunched up to his calves. He wears tribal bands around his upper arms and around his calves. Lux is obviously very alike to his sister, both being mischievous and perhaps a little intimidating. Most wouldn't know, but between him and his sister; he is the more serious sibling and normally is the one who makes the calls on what they do. He's a lot more concerned about there safety and will take action if needed. He doesn't get along very well with others, but he isn't a bad kid. He has a severe fear of water/swimming due to the fact he does not know how to swim.
sad §|§ Umbra Gitksan §|§ 13 y/o §|§ Burmese Python §|§ Initiate Umbra reaches around the same height as her twin brother, which is 5'5". She has a very slim/lithe body which makes it easy for her to get into things. She has the same ivory toned skin as her brother, however her hair is a dark brown, almost black, and it reaches to just below her chest. Umbra wears a mask on her face, which had been made to look like a brown snake with multiple tribal patterns (this was made from wood). As most people have not seen her face, she has pale blue eyes and long dark lashes. She has a thin face and a small button nose, just like her brother. She has a tattoo of the yin-yan symbol on her left forearm. She normally wears a long pale dress and wears tribal bands around her wrists and ankles. Umbra is alike to her brother, being very mischievous, however also a lot more curious. Once you get to know her, she's quite friendly and is very adventurous- always wanting to get into things, however her Lux normally holds her back. If she could, she'd love to travel some day and see the world.

(Whoops. Here's Berin for you, I'll hopefully get the rest up soon!) lazy penguin §|§ Berin Unia §|§ None, he's a Fledgling. (but it will be a brown bat) Berin, almost seven years old is notably tall for his age. His hair, which is always a mess of waves and curls, is a deep brown, almost the color of black coffee. Like his mother, his eyes are a pale green with flecks of brown and hazel scattered around the pupil. The young boy usually gets away with wearing very loose and simple clothes, taking after his father's flowy style. His personality is completely opposite from his brother, and Berin has an aura that emanates friendliness. He rarely has anything smaller than a smile on his face, and his happiness seems to burst from every limb of his body. He loves to have a conversation with anyone despite their name and status, and especially likes spending time with older tribe members, pretending that he's important. Berin is still incredibly naive and innocent, both believing that everyone is perfectly trustworthy and that no matter what he'll always have his family around. Berin is the son of Jethro and Paisley, and thus, is a very important character in the tribe. However, unlike his brother he doesn't flaunt this in others faces. He dreams of one day being an Alpha like his father, and strives to set a good example amongst the other Fledglings.

I realized there's no real way to tell what rank someone is except by a couple of unreliable indicators. So if you could just add that real quick, it'd help me tremendously. Jethro continued on his way to Berin’s room. The Alpha’s hut, contrary to popular belief, was still rather small, and it only took him a few seconds to reach the next room. Peeking inside, Jethro could see the form of his youngest son, still sleeping soundly. Moving over to Berin’s sleeping mat, Jethro gave the boy a gentle shake. “Berin?” he said. “It’s time to start getting up now.”
xxx
Kamaria smiled slightly, stretching as she made her way out into the early morning light. She probably looked a mess- not that she cared. She considered the offer for a few seconds, working her fingers through her tangled mess of hair. “I guess I could lend my skills to you at least once,” she said, voice warped as another yawn forced its way out of her. “We should probably get going soon if we plan on hunting, though.” She glanced sideways at Zane, smiling slightly. “Don’t want the whole Tribe joining us.”
xxx
Kiluga groaned to himself as his mother ripped his warmth away, half tempted to forcefully take it back. “I am getting up,” he complained, slowly sitting himself upright. He let out one long yawn, before rubbing his eyes. “There,” he said, glaring up at his mother through slitted eyes. “I’m up now. Happy?”

Happy?” It was too early in the morning for his grumpy mood, and Paisley returned his glare with a tight smile, "Practically peachy." She folded up the blanket, not happy with his attitude. It was hard to deal with it on a good afternoon, but it was even worse in the morning when her mind was still fogged with sleep. She placed the blanket on the end of her son's bed, folded and out of reach of her sleepy son. Then, she walked over to her son's small chest and opened, exposing the clothes inside. She pulled a set of clothes from the trunk and held them up to her son, a small smirk playing on her lips, "Think you can get dressed on your own? You're moving awfully slow today, Mister."
---
Zane nodded in agreement, "Yeah, wouldn't want that..." He adjusted his jacket and took a few steps towards the entrance of the camp, "I was thinking that we could head in the direction of The Lake. There is usually some good hunting in that part of the woods." He snuck a peak back at her to see if she was following him.

(My Kiluga sense is moving slow… ugh. Sorry, I’ll attempt to get something up for him soon. Also Milli were you going to do a Berin starter, or did you need more Jethro to go off of?)
xxx
Kamaria darted after Zane, her drowsiness finally fading away with the excitement of a hunt on the horizon. ”Yeah,” she agreed, slowing her pace as she caught back up with him. ”The Lake sounds good. What do you wanna hunt, though?” She mentally checked the list of forbidden animals. ”We can’t get bison, but, then again, there aren’t a lot of those down by the lake. We could try for boar or something?" She licked her lips slightly, then added, "Or we could try to fish."
xxx
(That’s fine, Sad! We all get busy at times. This was what Noel did last, so you could have your character run into her, or I could make her run into you)
Noel made her way through the early morning bustle of the camp, almost losing track of Alari several times as the small fox darted around. (hey, can you explain a little about the huts? like what's in it, the normal stuff things like that? I'd love to join but I don't know if my character would work... and what's the clothing like?)

Berin was already wide awake by the time his father entered his room. In fact, the boy had had hardly any sleep the previous night. After waking up at an ungodly hour, the boy had felt restless, swinging on fresh clothes and heading into the forest. Of course, he'd thought little of predators and though his life could've been in great peril, the boy could hardly hold back his excitement. However, in the end his adventure had been quite lacking, only the Nightingales appearing in front of him. The boy knew that he should call himself lucky, it was dangerous for him to be out in the wood at night. Yet, some sort of a thrill still called to him. Maybe I'm getting like Kiluga, the Fledgling thought to himself. He knew his brother had become the topic of gossip in the village, although he only picked up on bits and pieces of his brother's antics. Maybe it's a good thing, Kiluga says he's fine, so it must be true. Without a second thought Berin tossed aside his covers, revealing the clothes he'd accidentally fallen asleep in. His face flushing red, the boy hoped his father wouldn't notice, or if he did, wouldn't care enough to call him out.
(Sorry for the wait, I've been trying to write this forever, but nothing seemed to work. I'm still not happy with this, but whatever.)

(I'll admit, I skimped a little on the descriptions lol. So, basically think classic tribal, right? A circular, one room hut(except for the Alpha's, which has multiple) with a sleeping mat made of woven fibers and the like, along with whatever your character would need inside. Usually not a lot. Noel keeps her herbs in her hut in some carved wooden containers, Kamaria keeps her traditional tattoo supplies inside, etc. As for clothing, think again woven fibers. Not a lot of t-shirts, shorts, vibrant colors, or anything like that. It's all mostly plant matter. If you have questions about anything else, just ask ) Sorry for being away, I'll get right to joining. ] (That's cool! Glad to see you're still interested.)

[ kiwi cheesecake Would you consider changing the color of the font on the pages? It's a little hard on the eyes. I'm so sorry my eyes suck.

(That’s fine, Sad! We all get busy at times. This was what Noel did last, so you could have your character run into her, or I could make her run into you) Noel made her way through the early morning bustle of the camp, almost losing track of Alari several times as the small fox darted around. She sighed, finally catching up to the animal at the edge of the clearing the camp was settled in. Crouching down, Noel picked up Alari, gently setting the fox down around her shoulders. “Now then,” she said, beginning to step out into the forest, “What was it you wanted me to see?” [ thanks ;p i'll toss in a grumpy Erie starter ? ] Erie had been wide awake since the crack of dawn. He enjoyed the peace and quiet, and it always got to him when the tribe starts bustling and getting noisy; everyone waking up. He let out a long sigh and pulled up the hood on his robes. Where can I get some pleasant peace and quiet? He rose to his feet and began to walk through the camp- sun shining down overhead. He cracked a few of his knuckles as he headed towards the entrance; hoping to find somewhere peaceful in the forest where he could spend his morning. However, as he stepped foot outside he came to see a particular healer with a fox around her neck. What's Noel up to?
