Sandalphon, Mini-Myrnin, Castiel, Hange, Elliot
Elliot kept his back turned from the group, this place was irritating enough. Yet listening to Sandalphon go through everything, peeked his interest slightly. Finally, the man answered the question; coffee. Not exactly the highest of priorities but by the sounds of it was clearly a treasure to the archangel. He turned slightly to keep his attention of everyone in front of him, his head still low. The archangel seemed very happy as if they struck gold. He raised a hand and shook it sideways, "Appreciate the gesture, but I must pass." he softly replied. He couldn't help but grow even more irritated to the light bouncing off the silver platforms. How frustrating-I wait He flinched, turning around entirely at the warning. Whatever the archangel was doing-it wasn't helping. The lights grew in intensity, it was clearly a celestial trying to get him-and they were succeeding. Then-the lights died, at least to the point that it was bearable, to an extent. He blinked slowly trying to adjust to the new intensity of the light which seemed more balanced. Even then, it took several minutes to acclimate to his settings.. The boy yelping was a bad combination with the bulbs exploding. It was almost as if the boy's reaction tampered with the light, rather then Sandalphon's magic. Regardless, the attempt was appreciated, but Elliot seemed to lack the physical emotion to show it. The room was slightly more bearable, but even then-it would take a while to adjust. Furthermore, this room was just one room of many rooms that had lighting changes. This was an uphill battle of frustrations. Elliot turned slightly away, he didn't really care for Castiel's opinion. Whether he agreed or disagreed to his initial opinion, the offer was there and an option to the potential circumstances of the potential owner. Regardless, Sandalphon was already going through the property, and reversing time was easier said than done. With the lighting somewhat decent but still annoying at a personal level, he was able to focus on everyone in the room. Castiel suggesting that Myrnin be given coffee was a trivial question-why did it matter if the boy did or didn't? He decided not to speak on the matter, Castiel seemed to be advocating enough on the matters.

All Myrnin managed with his effort to puff himself up was to make Sandalphon chuckle. "You could have it, but it doesn't mean you should." Castiel, on the other hand received a shrug and a curt, "If you must." With how deadpan the mortal angel was, he and the aloof Raphael would get along well. "Alright. The offer still stands if you change your mind." He couldn't help but be slightly disappointed by Elliot declining his offer, but the feeling quickly faded.
The beans were done, at least as well as they could be with this grinder. Putting that aside, the Primal reached an arm over and pulled the water tank off the side of the espresso machine. "There's water right here." He replied as he walked past Myrnin to the sink. The child must have either came from really far back in the past, or else from some village that hadn't entered the modern era yet, if he didn't know about faucets. The latter of those were more common then one might think in the skydoms, especially on distant islands that didn't get much outside traffic.
Which was fine either way, that just meant this was a good opportunity for him to learn. "See?" The archangel twisted one of the handles to turn the faucet on, while also moving to the side so Myrnin could watch it in action. The water thankfully didn't smell fowl like the stuff outside, but just to be safe he stuck his fingertip under the flow and sampled it, giving an internal sigh of relief when it tasted normal. "This thing here, called a faucet in most places, draws up water from deep under the ground and allows you to get it right in your home. There are usually a few of them per house, each used for different things. This one, for example, might be used to either wash the dishes or help in cooking food."
Who knew if the kid would even understand any of that, but it was the gist of it. Sandalphon began filling up the tank, addressing Castiel's question as he did so. "There are blends that do include alcohol, but this, obviously, isn't one of them." Just like with the youngest member of the group not knowing about indoor water sources, it felt safe to assume that Cass was the same with coffee.
The Primarch closed his eyes and sighed when the other angel joined in on letting Myrnin try the beverage. It was two against one now and he was starting to cave, if only to avoid a big fuss. Would it really hurt to let the child sample it? Unless he handled the smallest dose of caffeine poorly, he would probably be alright. "Fine, you two win." He returned the water tank back to it's place and finished the rest of the coffee preparations, adding what else was needed to the machine and performing the necessary steps until it was ready to go.
Alright, time to see how well this somewhat experimental job had turned out...
The house was generous enough to have left a few white porcelain cups on top of the maker, so he simply took one of those. He filled it up, adding a bit of milk creamer he'd gathered on the side for flavor, and raised the drinking utensil to his mouth to take a small sip.
It was no where near as good as anything he could make back home, that was certain, although it wasn't terrible either. The best way to describe it was 'average'. This didn't stop Sandalphon from finishing the beverage in less then a minute though, then taking two more cups and preparing brews in the same way he'd done his. "Since you were so adamant about letting the kid try it." He said to Cass, the look in his red eyes dead serious as he held one out for the mortal angel to take. "You can let him try a small taste of yours. But do not give him anymore then that, understand? We don't need him getting a caffeine rush. If you screw up and he does, he's your responsibility." The other was left on the cupboard besides him, free for Hange to take if they wanted.

Hange silently observed the conversation between Sandalphon and the others, tilting their head and looking down their long nose at the odd machine as it churned out a dark, apparently drinkable liquid. They didn’t really understand what was being discussed at all, and they didn’t know what had made those odd, cold candles surge all of a sudden. They knew of a few people who would be quick to call magic in a situation like this, but they knew better than that. This was just technology, albeit much more advanced than what anyone here was used to. Which meant, they were free to run experiments. With that thought, they grabbed one of the cups from the cupboard, giving Sandalphon an appreciative nod right before they downed the entire thing in one gulp. Almost immediately, they made a face, then coughed, sticking out their tongue to try and distill the horrible, bitter aftertaste the drink had left behind. “This is...” they spluttered, setting the cup firmly down on the counter. “Extremely distasteful. Why do people drink this? Does it have an intoxicating effect?”

The others bemused snickering fell deaf on his ears. Funny as it would have been his eyes flinched at the bristling fuzz around the corner of his eye. He lowered himself slowly on his haunches, gripping his bike lock right before it could brush against the old structure. Their chances of escape became faint hearing the entities destructive rampage inching closer than before. “Listen, Shaggy, think you can give the freak a run for its money?” He hinted with a slanted glance down the empty area placed in front of them. “Coaster or not, we’re getting the hell out together.” Matt flinched, pulling himself a little closer to the wall they were hiding behind as a heavy crash sounded from nearby - if he had to guess, he’d say the monster had just knocked one of the rides over. ”Okay, yeah, I like your plan better,” he conceded, not really wanting to imagine what would happen if they climbed to the top of a roller coaster only to have it knocked down beneath their feet. “Maybe the House’ll let us out if we make it out of the park?” He risked a glance around the corner, and saw the faint, greenish light of the monster from behind the nearest ride to them. Had it gotten bigger? He could’ve sworn it was smaller before. ”I can see the outer fence from here,” he said, mind racing. “Wanna just make a run for it?”

Sky quietly cringed when she heard the Doctor called after her. Oops. "Sorry!" She called, before waiting silently for the others. She noticed that the Doctor had another jewel in her hand. She quickly regarded it, trying to commit it to memory, before giving a small smile. She began to go up the steps again, two at a time, wanting to now find the next stone. The next room did lead to the kitchen- one that looked extremely old fashioned at that. Well, it is a Medieval castle, after all, she reasoned. She immediately started to search for clues.

Mini Myrnin | Futuristic House Room Myrnin did not get Sandalphon's explanation of 'faucets' at all. But he watched with mild, wide-eyed amazement as water was produced by the shiny thing. It looked like a very small waterfall. But he nodded and pretended he understood everything before he tried to watch everything else which was going on in the room and those who were trying to figure it out. Castiel and Hange were the ones he focused on in particular. He was glad Castiel was sticking up for him and he grinned at the angel. Then he walked over to him and tried to see what was in the mug, though he was a bit too short. Hange's exclamation of distaste clearly hadn't put him off at all. "How can it be good when it's made out of beans?" he asked, slightly skeptically.

Castiel watched the coffee-making process with obvious interest, since he had no idea what was being made and how. At the appearance of the dark been his blue eyes narrowed slightly. Wasn’t this supposed to be a liquid? Perhaps it was simply bean juice. Humans often consumed fruit and vegetable juices, didn’t they? At any rate, it was taking long enough for him to get bored of the explanation of water faucets and wander over to another cupboard, which he opened to find stacked with edible supplies sealed in thin plastic. Since they’d already pillaged this home, he saw no reason not to take one down and inspect it. “What is an Oreo?” He asked the room at large as he flipped the blue box over in his hand to read the ingredients on the back. “They seem to have almost no nutritional value, but the package suggests they’re meant to be consumed.” He turned around to find Sandalphon behind him, holding out a cup of black liquid, bean juice, just as he’d thought. He accepted it with care and sniffed it, then recoiled at the overpowering bitter stench of the stuff and shot Sandalphon a look of deepest suspicion. But no. The archangel had already polished off his own serving of bean juice with apparent relish. He frowned down at his own pungent cup, then glanced at Myrnin, concern flashing across his face for the first time. “Is it dangerous to human children?” He asked, hesitant to hand it over now that he knew how alarming it was to his senses. That, and Hange’s look of utter disgust as they unwisely gulped it down as fast as they could. “What is a ‘caffeine rush’? And how do you know anything from this House of Paradoxes is safe to consume? This seems unwise.”

Sandalphon completely ignored the look the other angel had aimed at him upon receiving his cup. What, did he think there was poison in it? Well he was stuck with it now, because he'd gotten himself into this mess by wanting to give Myrnin some.
Watching Hange's reaction to the taste stirred up old memories from a time long past, namely the first time Sandalphon himself first tried the beverage. "Some like it, some hate it." He hummed, going to refill his own. "Others start off thinking the exact same as you, only to grow to love it after awhile." While he was being oddly specific, he deliberately left out a few details in that last sentence.
"If you have too much, yes. It can possibly produce something akin to intoxication." The archangel turned back towards the others as he continued, leaning casually back on the cupboard with a full cup in hand. "But it's main use is in small quantities and when not simply being enjoyed, to give one a surge of energy."
Questions, questions, questions. Was this what it had been like for Lucifer when he had first introduced coffee to the skydwellers all those centuries ago? The current Supreme Primarch was trying his best to be informative.
"Quite good, actually. If you add in the right ingredients." The Primal replied to Myrnin. "This brew here probably isn't the best introduction to coffee I could have gave you all, apologies for that." Thoughtfully, he took a few swallows of what he had. "Now, if I had access to our airship, I could have made something more tasteful."
Finally, Sandalphon returned his attention to Cass, this time it was his turn to shoot the angel a glare. "Now you ask me that? Not before boldy hopping to the kid's defense and saying he should be allowed to have some?" He let out another sigh and allowed his gaze to wonder away. What nonsense...
"To ones as young as him, potentially so, hence my earlier hesitation to give him any at all. However, a small, extremely controlled sample of it should be alright, otherwise I wouldn't have relented. And a 'caffeine rush' is what happens when you start to have too much of anything with caffeine in it, like coffee." With that, the archangel pushed off his resting spot and walked over to get a better look at the package of cookies. "That was one of the reasons I tried my drink first, and it was fine. Besides that, I can't speak for anything else in here."

(whoops sorry for vanishing x-x I had a bunch of stuff come up at once. If i poof like that again, feel free to just consider Volt blinked.
//smol timewarp dont worry about it// )
Volt watched as The Doctor nimbly made her way up the side of the fireplace, her helmet cocking slightly to the side in puzzlement as the woman simply licked the substance on the stones. From everything the Tenno understood of humans, that was not beneficial to their health. Perhaps here was the first example of a Gallifreyian trait. At the woman's brief warning and sudden advancement with the torch, Volt pushed off of the chimney and landed lightly on her feet a safe distance away from the blaze. Although it wasn't quite necessary as The Doctor and Ononoki proceeded to simply walk through the flames anyways.
For a moment, she considered protesting, but the first girl, Sky, and both the others simply walked through the dancing fire with no issue. However, before following, Volt looked down at her forearm to verify a faint glow was returning to her node-lights. She held out her hands towards the door they had entered through, small sparks jumping from her finger tips. There was a clatter and a scraping sound from the other room before suddenly the Tenno's dual swords flew into her grasp, trailing a little bit of lake seaweed along with them. Disgustedly shaking off the slimy greenery, Volt clipped the swords back into place before ducking under the mantelpiece and stepping through the fire.
Following the sound of footsteps and the sight of Ononoki's bobbing pigtails, Volt emerged from the short passage way a little after the trio. Before her sprawled a large stone room lined with wooden countertops. A large wooden table and several stools sat in the center of the room and an oddly rounded black metal capsule sat nearby, hung from a smaller metal rod as if ready to be inserted into the fireplace they had all just emerged from. Wooden and metal tools of various shapes and sizes hung from small hooks driven into the stonework, along with strings of dried plants and bulbs. Small, oddly shaped daggers lay on the countertops, along with small cups and flat wooden disks. Nothing in this room made any sense, but she hoped a statement from one of the others might clue her in.

Inexplicably, around ten minutes after drinking the coffee, Hange had found that they were entirely done with staying still. Their mind was racing with possibilities - experiments to be done on their odd surroundings, hypotheses to be formed. The others were still busy with the coffee, but...their stream of consciousness had long since moved on. “I saw an interesting panel attached to the wall on my way inside,” they said, peering again out at the toxic-smelling water. “Would anyone like to come help me rip the cover off?” They didn’t see any need to follow this up with any kind of explanation of why someone would want to do this - to them, it was blatantly obvious. You see a strange, flat metal panel on the wall, and you find a way to get inside. It was human nature, right? They bounced on their heels, impatiently waiting for an answer so they could go, either alone or with help.

Sky noticed something spread out on the countertop. She walked closer, and saw a charred cookbook, open to a page with large, inky writing. It was obviously handwritten. She read it hastily.
Strawberry Cake Recipe~ The Jewel of Any Banquet Ingredients: Flour, Sugar, Eggs, Butter, Water, Marzipan, and Strawberries
There were a few things Sky found strange in this recipe. One, an obvious one, was that they had no amounts for the ingredients. Also, they didn't tell exactly how to make the cake. But something was hiding, Sky felt. Something that would be obvious too...
"Jewel!" Sky said aloud after a second. "What if the stone is inside one of the ingredients?"

Myrnin | Futuristic Room
The idea that coffee was poisonous hadn't crossed Myrnin's mind and even after several mentions of it it still didn't seem to be registering. He glanced from Castiel to Hange and then around at the room at large. He then edged closer to the package of apparently edible not-food and looked at them. "So do you eat them anyway?" he asked. He was getting decidedly frustrated with the debate on whether or not he could have bean juice or not. He wanted it, just to see what all the fuss was about, but clearly everyone was doubting whether he could handle it or not. So instead he picked at the skin the not-food seemed to have, until he found a loose bit and tugged. It came away a bit too easily, but now he was looking down at a bunch of flat, black circles with white between them. Hange was rattling off about something outside and Myrnin looked back in their direction with a puzzled look on his face. Taking up the package of not-food, he trotted after them, leaving both of the angels to argue. "What's this Hange?" he asked, holding out the odd package.

The Doctor | Castle Room (Sorry for the decidedly poof-ness of my appearances. I'm still battling this cold.) After emerging into the kitchen, The Doctor had spent a bit of time observing her surrounds like Volt had. Ononoki just seemed to be along for the ride, but Sky jumped right in. Either by luck or by talents the Time Lady was unaware of, she'd at once found something which decidedly sounded like a clue. The Doctor leaned over, glancing once at list. Then she looked at the other blinkers and murmured, "Careful. The one in the tapestry room had pretty clear instructions too, but with the added problem of a trap." Then, glancing at Sky, she nodded at the paper and said with a grin, "Well, it's your clue. What'd you like us to look for first?" It seemed like a treasure hunt and Sky had found it and the fire place without the additional hints from the House. The Doctor wasn't going to waste the chance she might have a bit of luck rub off on this room as well.

(//holdsss mint// I hope you feel better soon!!)
Hange turned, momentarily distracted from their quest to destroy the house’s electrical systems by Myrnin’s odd find. “Hmmmm.....that’s a good question, my friend. What a strange material.” They took the box and held it up to the light, peering inside at the strange bicolor circles that were, supposedly, supposed to be food. They kind of looked like cookies, though they were nothing like any cookies Hange had ever seen. Cautiously, they pulled one out and took a nibble, carefully chewing to sample the taste. “They’re sweet!” they exclaimed, taking an instant liking to the cookie as they realized how much sweeter it was than any food they’d had before. “Some type of dessert, perhaps?” They pulled another out of the box and offered it to the young boy. “Would you like to try one?”

"Well..." Sky paused. "There should be a pantry, right? All of the ingredients- or at least most of them- should be in there... Wait, what if the thing that the stone is in has an arrow imprinted on it? All of the clues so far included an arrow one way or another. We should look for that first." Sky looked up and scanned the room for a door. There was one in the right corner. Grabbing the cookbook, she pushed through. "Should be easy enough-" Her eyes widened. The pantry was extremely large, with shelves upon shelves stacked with different items. "Nevermind." She muttered.

Volt leaned curiously over the shoulders of the other two, glancing over the hand-scrawled list. While it was written in common, only a few of the items she had ever heard of before. Two, to be precise: eggs and water. The rest were a mystery, but at least it was a starting place. She followed Sky and The Doctor into the pantry, ducking under the door frame and coming to a stop at the sight of rows of shelves stocked with supplies. Sacks and crates and boxes lined just about every available surface. The only good thing was that there appeared to be some method of organization. "So are we looking for an arrow or for items from your list?" The Tenno asked Sky, looking back down at the girl. "Or both?"
(Okay this is random but what if they actually have to bake the cake to get the stone? Idk how that would work but it sounds hilarious )

"I think we're looking for both. Possibly an arrow on the ingredients." Sky said. She looked Volt, a little bit awed, before continuing. "I'll try to find marzipan." She marched over to the first shelf, only to find it full of eggs. "Oh. The eggs are over here. I'll check if the stone's in here, if that's okay."

Sandalphon, Mini-Myrnin, Castiel, Hange, Elliot
((Sorry guys, been busy)) Elliot stepped away from the group raiding the kitchen. It seemed like everyone was fascinated with the odd shaped packages and neon textures. He slowly shook his head in slight amusement. Nonetheless, he wandered down the hall, almost forgetting that the rest of the house remained unaltered to the man's magic from earlier. He walked down the hall, with hand over his eyes, to provide shade relief from the constant neon, bright colored and various volume lighting throughout the hallway. He decided to take refuge in a room with a large entry way. Surprisingly the light was dimmer in that room. The lights were violet and blue giving off a cool color which was much more bearable then the atrocities of the kitchen. There was four leather couches centered around a glass coffee table. In the far left, from the entry way there was a dark green flickering sign spelling man. Over on the right side from the entry there was another dark green flickering sign that spelled cave. In the back corner of the left side of the room, there was six tall wooden chairs, and a tall table running along the corner. There was space between the wall and the table, to permit someone to walk along the back of the table similar to a pub. Behind the couches was a square wooden frame, with a green surface and six holes along the edges. On top of the table was two wooden long sticks, with four more hanging along the two sides of the table. The sign across the room from where he stood captivated his attention over the two dimmer flickering signs. The sign was a lighter shade of purple, flickering the words, velvet room Elliot stepped into the room further, quickly surprised to see the color of his attire altered. It was almost an illusion -or perhaps it was? He blinked, unsure on how to react. The violet and blue colors were bouncing off his clothes, giving him a neon glow. Elliot proceeded further into the room, passing the couches, and the pool table, reaching another set of couches, and bean bags surrounding the velvet room sign. He raised a brow in confusion as to what would captivate anyone to stare at a sign but then he realized that there was something by the wall. The dim lighting did not help notice it from a distance, but being up close he noticed a thin massive 85 inch frame hanging thiny close to the wall. He approached the wall from the side, to notice it was a frame hanging by the wall. Seeing from the side, he noticed that the edges were curved not flat which he blinked enough to jerk his head back and shake his head.

Ononoki was indeed along for the ride, preferring to contribute without saying anything. Then again, maybe she just didn't have the social capacity to communicate why she was there. The doll girl at least appeared to be attached to The Doctor, and had proven she would follow orders. She followed Sky to the pantry and when her head tilted up, it seemed like it might never come down. She scanned the shelves diligently for the ingredients on the list, not having to check twice for what she was supposed to be looking for. With so many ingredients though, it was like finding a needle in a haystack. Several needles in a haystack. Within a minute or so, she turned around to face Sky with a bag of flour hoisted up in the palm of her hand, arm bent and face expressionless. "Try breaking the eggs," she suggested in her typical bland voice, her green eyes looking flat in the light, "...I said with a posed look."

(awesome, this is going to be fun xD ) "As you wish," Volt replied. She stepped off to the side, about to search for water, but couldn't help peeking over Sky's shoulder into the wooden crate, suddenly pausing at the odd sight. "What kind of eggs are these?" Gingerly, the Tenno grasped an egg and pulled it from its box to better examine it. It was smooth and almost round, the shell a warm off-white color. She had never seen anything like it before and probably would have just passed it off as a creation of the House had Sky not seemed so familiar with them. At Ononoki's suggestion, Volt looked up to see the small girl holding a large sack of a white powdery substance with little to no effort. "These eggs seem to have very fragile shells." She replied, trying to follow Ononoki's line of thought. "Breaking them would not be difficult, but what would it accomplish?" zeph! Razzle Dazzle mintedstar/fur

Out of the corner of his eye, Sandalphon caught Elliot splitting away from the rest of the group, his head turning to watch the man go. If he was ducking out to get a break from the chaos, the archangel couldn't blame him. In fact, he could use one himself, so why not follow Elliot's example...
Taking one last glance at the others and retrieving Lucifer's coffee cup, he trailed down the hall after the other blinker. As a few doorways passed him by on his way to the one Elliot had vanished into, he casually peered into them. All were like the kitchen, items both familiar and not littering each, the architecture both strange and fascinating. Whatever time period this building was taken from, it certainly wasn't the current one.
The Primal's destination greeted him with a soft, welcoming glow instead of the bright lights of before. The aura of this room was much more calming then that of the kitchen, not to mention nice and quiet. He slowly stepped inside, leaning on the door frame as he took it all in while idly taking a drink of coffee. The blue and violet lights lit the archangel's face, causing his normally red eyes to take on a shade of purple. "Quite cozy in here."
Some of the lights on the walls were formed into words that meant nothing to him, such as 'Man Cave' and 'Velvet Room'. Must be more strange mortal lingo, one could assume. Having only really started mingling among skydwellers in the last few years, a lot of the facets of mortal culture were still strange to the Primarch. Even so, he was at least able to deduce that this area was meant for relaxation. That was obvious enough.
Elliot managed to pique Sandalphon's curiosity enough to draw him over as his fellow blinker began poking around something stuck to the wall. "Hmm." He wasn't quite able to make out what it was, since it blended into the darkness. Thinking nothing of it, he tucked Lucifer's cup into the nook of the arm holding the other one and raised a hand to touch whatever it was they were looking at.
It was unknown what exactly set it off, whether it was light magic innately flowing through Sandalphon's body, which would have flowed into the object through his touch and powered it up, or if it was just simply touch controlled. As soon as his finger tips grazed it's surface, the entire wall instantly blared to life, the sudden influx of sound and light sending the startled Primal jumping backwards, not expecting that to happen. He barely resisted the instinctive urge to summon a blade and send it plunging right into it. He also only just managed to avoid spilling still steaming hot coffee all over, deciding to down the rest of it before he actually did... And maybe to passively try and hide the fact he'd just jumped like a spooked child.

The Doctor | Castle Room "Ononoki is suggesting the jewel might be inside one of them. Careful, they might not be exactly like the eggs you're familiar with. They're from an Earth animal called a chicken," The Doctor said. She was left by the door, looking in at everyone, since they were mostly blocking the entry. But she waited a couple seconds for everyone who was going to enter the pantry to do so. In the mean time, she cast another look around. These sorts of castles weren't exactly good with keeping all the materials in good condition. Things rotted. Strawberries were on the list. If she was to guess, there would have to be a cool play, something freshly picked (House picked?), or there was a door around here somewhere. Ah! It was in a corner of the room, hard to find from the position near the pantry and fireplace. The Doctor took some steps toward it and pushed the door open to the small garden directly outside. Strawberries. If she left the door open, she could still hear what was going on and mostly see as well. "Careful with all of that," she added. "Just because we're looking for jewels doesn't mean your answers in one ingredient over the other. You don't want to be wading through flour only to find it was in the eggs." It was still drizzling just a little, but what was more water? The Doctor crouched, starting to poke around the small garden.

Mini Myrnin | Futuristic Room "Cookie?" questioned Myrnin, with at least as much interest as he'd discovered coffee with. Now faced with something apparently sweet instead of bitter, he looked at the box that Hange was offering and didn't hesitate to take one. He knew what sweet was. It was berries and things like that. Sweet enough to make him happy and he'd pick them whenever he found them. They weren't around now of course, because it was Winter. But now he got a sweet! He put the flat disc in his mouth and started chewing ... And then he spat it out, mouth puckering up as if he'd had something terrible. "Ick!" he exclaimed. "That's ... that's ..." The only nearby water was the toxic stuff, but Myrnin almost went for it. He swallowed several times but it still didn't get the taste out. "That's way too sweet!" He said to Hange, shaking his head. (Mini Myrnin and Major Myrnin are in one mind about oreos.)

Sky was beginning to feel impatient with the eggs. At the other blinkers’ suggestions of breaking them, she brightened up. “I can do that.” She took her wand from her pocket and motioned for the others to stand aside. “Bombardo!” She cried. A second later, what used to be boxes of eggs were now stained white and had yolk all over. Sky waded through the shells, enjoying the sound of them cracking. She peered around. “Do you see the stone anywhere?”
(Want a plot twist? I have one in mind. >:3 )

(go for it lol )
"A chicken." While Volt had no mouth nor tongue to trip over enunciation, it was clear the word was foreign. She held up the egg to look at it again. "How long do they take to incubate?" Some of her fellow Tenno had hatched their animal battle companions from eggs, perhaps she could be the first with a chicken. Would it be just as fragile as its egg? Maybe it could simply live on the ship. The ship AI would not be pleased, but he could get over it. The issue was somehow getting it from this dimension back into her own. Then the rest of The Doctor's statement seemed to register and Volt looked up again in time to see Sky's motion. She quickly slipped backwards as the girl brandished a simple stick, shouted, and proceeded to completely decimate the rest of the eggs. "I do not," she replied to Sky. After a cursory glance across the mess, the Tenno prudently retreated back out into the main room as a slimy mixture of fractured shells and egg innards crept across the cobble floor. She still carefully held the single surviving egg, wary of setting it down. Noting a new source of light in the room, Volt crossed the room and leaned out of the door to find a small garden nestled in the center of the castle's construction. Small plants in various stages of growth spread across the ground and The Doctor appeared to be harvesting small red fruits off of one. It was also raining. Volt backed away from the door to observe the rest of the room. So they were all looking for either a stone or an arrow, hm?

Ononoki’s pigtails flew backward in the blast, but her head seemed to be on a pole stuck facing forward. She didn’t so much as flinch when she spell was cast. It would seem that Sky took the suggestion quite seriously, not sparing any of the eggs. Merciless. “Maybe you can un-break the eggs,” she suggested then, still in monotone, “...I said with a posed look.” She observed Volt past Sky, watching as she avoided the water that was falling from the sky. Interesting. She didn’t manage to show any of her curiosity on her face though; Volt would have to wait and find out later. As if what she was about to say next followed the course of the conversation, she opened her mouth again: “I’m a good cook,” she informed them straightforwardly. In reference to the recipe, she meant. “...I said with a posed look.” Normally one’s arm would shake or strain from holding the bag of flour that long, but she still had it precariously balanced in her hand as if it were light as a feather.

“I suppose... I don’t know. I’m not that great at Reparo...” Sky mumbled, still watching the eggs. She watched Volt leave, and then absentmindedly answered Ononoki. “Heh, lucky. I’m absolutely terrible at cooking...” She suddenly jumped, hearing footsteps. “Is someone else here?” She questioned, her eyes wide.

(Okay, so here's my idea- it might be cheesy, though. Basically, you know how in stories, dragons attack castles? Well, what if dragons inhabited this castle, and knights are thought to be the ones attacking them? I dunno- we don't have to do it. The attacking eggs sounds cool too )
