~∂єѕтιиу"Vin-sint" Eises repeated after him. The name sounded like it would come from the southern countries. She hesitated when he reached his hand out, Where has that been? She took his offer and shook it with her cold hand, silently wishing she had hand sanitizer in her pocket. "Y-you can call me Eises." The humidity continued to annoy her, so she further cooled the air around her. "Are you h-human? You almost smell like one." Eises was still wary of this stranger, but her curiosity still ran her thoughts as usual. She was getting better at relearning the social rules of speaking to other people, but many things still slipped through her tongue. Her tail flicked to the side while she started walking down the path. It was considerably darker here due to the thicker walls of trees that decorated the sides and skies. She briskly walked around the undergrowth and plants, her eyes doing just fine with the lack of light. She occasionally looked back to see if Vin-sint was following along. "Bad room for a suit." She simply stated, knowing that it's not like Vin-sint had a choice in the matter. Even if this man was a stranger with a weird vibe and bad hair, Eises didn't want him getting heat stroke. "D-Do you need water?"

How could Nico tell Kelsier that he didn’t think he w anted to break out of the House? How could he admit that in spite of everything he had been through here, he still didn’t want to leave, not really? How could he tell Kelsier that the suggestion of a time when they found a way out was like a knife to the gut? Kelsier still wanted out. Kelsier might always want out, and there was nothing Nico could do to change his mind. Perhaps, if the House hadn’t meddled, he wouldn’t even be considering whether he should try. “I’ve been going into rooms for as long as I can remember,” Nico admitted. “There were good and bad ones, even at the beginning, even before I was able to defend myself against them. The House is… always like that. But you’re right. You won’t catch me backing down or deciding to forego entering rooms.” How hard would the House have to try to break Nico if it wanted him to give up on rooms? He had long ago stopped hoping that one of the doors would be a way out. Instead, they were just challenges. Deadly, terrible challenges, that were somehow still more manageable than a lot of what he was facing in his own world. In his world, everything was more or less decided ahead of time, by something even the gods couldn’t control. He just had to hope that he was playing his role well, making the right choices, supporting the prophecy. Here, at least, he had full control over what he did. There was nobody around to tell him what his future might look like. “It’s easier than my world, I guess,” he added, almost feeling as though he owed Kelsier an explanation. “From what I’ve heard, it’s probably easier than yours, in a way.” Survival in the House may have been almost impossible, but there was no war here. There were just people that you either trusted, or you didn’t. And maybe even people you could grow to trust, if the circumstances allowed for it. “I wish you luck with your impossible war,” he murmured softly, and he meant it. There was still so much of Kelsier’s world he didn’t know. So much about the man that he wanted to know, despite the fact he was still scared. They were nothing to each other. They were threats. They were anchors, if only briefly. They were… they were nothing. And everything. “I hope you win yours, and I hope I stop a second impossible war from even occurring.” The words were soft, easy to miss, but no less genuine. For a moment, the expression on his face was open and vulnerable and scared. Then the hard mask snapped back into place and Nico was relatively unreadable. “And if you do manage to raise the dead, please let me know,” he added, his voice impossibly serious. A timid smile twitched at his lips for just a moment, revealing that he was, in fact, joking. The things Kelsier could do, even the little bits that Nico had seen, were impressive. They could be used for good far more readily than Nico’s own powers could, though he didn’t say that. He couldn’t’ cast judgement until Kelsier explained exactly how Allomancy worked, and now wasn’t the time for that. Perhaps Nico would ask over hot chocolate, if they ever decided to stop skating. At the moment, though, Nico didn’t want to stop skating. He enjoyed the freedom it seemed to provide, the wind rushing past him, pushing back the tufts of hair that stuck out from under the hat he was wearing. “I guess we’ll just have to figure out how to stop eventually, then,” he added, glancing back to look at Kelsier. Right now, he didn’t want to learn how to stop. He had managed to navigate turning without wiping out like he had last time and was currently focusing on picking up speed. Nico could remember when he had first learned of ice skating. His dreams had been filled with images of Venice’s canals frozen over, and him and Bianca skating between the buildings of their city. That had been a long time ago, and the memory of those dreams almost hurt. The expression on his face flickered for just a moment before the determination set in again and Nico turned his gaze towards Kelsier. “Is that a challenge?” Nico demanded, brows narrowing in what could only be called a playful manner. His skates turned with a flash of silver and a small spray of ice, and then he was barreling towards Kelsier, half tumbling half gliding, completely unable to stop but not caring in the slightest. This was what it was like to live believing you were invincible. To not be afraid of what each turn would bring. This was what it was like to have a childhood, and Nico was going to seize this opportunity with both hands for as long as it lasted. He would tell himself later he just wanted to beat Kelsier, but there was more to it than that. There was a levity, a feeling of fun Nico couldn’t remember feeling in a long time. The only issue with barreling towards Kelsier full speed without breaks was… well, the lack of breaks. And if Kelsier didn’t speed up, Nico was straight on the collision course rather he liked it or not.

[ Stormcatcher | Party Room | ®Hawkpath® ]"GET BACK TO -" the dragon god was cut off as the scenery suddenly shifted around him. Great, what is it this time? he rolled his eyes and sighed in annoyance. This was the third time this week he'd had his work interrupted by sudden teleportation, and he still didn't know who the culprit was! Stormcatcher became even more aggravated as he took in the space around him. There were balloons and confetti scattered everywhere. A large cake sat on a table. Worst of all, a banner that read "Happy Birthday!" hung from the wall. A birthday party? You have to be kidding me! Did the being behind this want him to celebrate its birthday? This was ridiculous! Parties were for slackers!

L blinked in, hands out in front of him in what appeared to be an imitation of a zombie. “How long do I have to do this?” He asked the air, then looked around, noticing where he was. “Oh. Never mind.” He dropped his arms and turned, facing the room and the...other blinker? Monster created by the House? He couldn’t tell right away, so he took a cautious step backwards and raised his hands again, this time in a peaceful gesture. “Hello?” He asked hesitantly.

[ Anika | Clone Living Room | Lark ]An undead dragon blinked into the living room. She appeared to have been sleeping peacefully, as her body was curled up and her five heads were snoring. She didn't stay asleep for long, however, for a couple minutes later, one of the heads opened its eyes. "How long have I slept?" the dragon wondered aloud. She didn't know how long she'd been asleep, but it had felt like eons. She raised her head and yawned, glad to be awake once more. Glancing back down towards her sleeping companions, she decided to give each a gentle nudge to wake them. One by one, their eyes opened as she bumped her snout against their heads. The first had magenta eyes, the next had emerald, the third had orange, and the last had crimson. "Good to see you again!" the pink-eyed dragon spoke. She and her blue-eyed companion gleefully intertwined their necks. However, their reunion was cut short by an announcement from the crimson-eyed dragon. "Guys, I don't think this is the room we fell asleep in.""What?" the blue and pink-eyed dragons asked in surprise, turning their gaze towards her. "From what I remember, we used to be in a stone room with no furniture. This place," she gestured towards the couch and the bookshelves, "has furniture."None of the other heads knew what to say. Admittedly, their memories weren't clear. The dragon with ice-blue eyes thought that the room had at least had bookshelves, but now that she thought about it, she couldn't remember a couch, either. "Where are we?" she asked.

[ Stormcatcher || Party Room || ®Hawkpath® ]At the sound of a voice coming from the ground, Stormcatcher turned his annoyed gaze towards the man. It seemed as if he'd been pulled here as well, as the dragon hadn't seen him when he'd blinked in a few moments ago. "I TAKE IT YOU'RE NOT FROM HERE, ARE YOU?" he asked. He would've kept his mouth shut, but since the stranger had said hello, it would've been rude not to respond. Plus, he didn't exactly have anything better to do. If he'd learned anything from the last two times, it was that he'd return to his office at random. He couldn't do anything to get himself out of this place. His arrival and departure, unfortunately, was up to the being that controlled it.

Arcelia | St. Patrick's Day Room | mintedstar/fur If legends could be real, then the witch legend definitely was. It was certainly much different than Arcelia had expected - never could she have thought that the witch would be a little boy - but it was real, nonetheless. She did believe in the Guardian of Nature, but it seemed likely that it wasn't what shaped this place. Large stones, as if that wasn't obvious, the dragon fought the urge to roll her eyes as Sam talked. And then back to the talk of other worlds. Great. She was silent for a moment, but then a question suddenly popped into her head - if this was a place that mimicked other worlds, and he came from this place, what world was this? "Where do you come from?" she found herself asking the human boy. She ignored his question for the most part. Technically, her question was her answer to what he'd inquired. She wanted to know what his response would be. Samuel | St. Patrick's Day Room | Sησω Samuel paused, as if considering. He looked back at Arcelia. "What now?" His voice was curious. He didn't really have a plan. Just whatever the dragon thought they should do. Boop! )

Eddie - Viewing Room - No one? Its difficult The journalist could not fathom what Sam's statement could have potentially meant. "I guess I am?" He shrugged his shoulders in response. Left alone in an eerie state of confusion would lead him to take another bite out of the snack he'd recently plucked off of a platter. Between himself and the kid, even the other grief stricken folk, there chances of having an impact were zilch. Eddie frowned at how he could surmise that failure to save the others was really there fault - the house had been two steps ahead of them even before now. The others complacent attitudes wasn't helping but they'd already paid the costly price by dying at the hands of mere strangers. The beginning of a losing battle is to accept defeat without even trying. Now he had taken a considerably smaller bite reminding himself when was the last time he'd eaten much if anything at all. Before the scientist had called him up there hadn't been much in the freezer besides tater tots that were give or take old. Not inedible, but tasteless when it came to frozen food but hey, a man has to eat. He spared another reluctant look down upon the blackened screens noting there wasn't anything new nothing that raised his interest.

Salsa - Living Room Room - Anika A fairly tough red and blue wildclaw blinked into the supposed living room wearing her usual attire. Her clothes consisted of a cap with a peculiar feather and a cape that covered her shoulder. An overall glance at her could tell you she wasn't in the best of moods, scowling at what once was there no longer was. She blinked her milky white eyes at the empty spot she unleashed a sornieth curse under her breath. A bounty unclaimed was a headache! Salsa noted her momentary absence was an irritation above all but that wouldn't stop her from the search at hand. Her captive would wait for questioning as the house seemed to have other plans. "Oh, what do we have here?" The veteran turned around facing none other than a emperor, not surprisingly slumped on the ground with many heads. "Lost, you say? Well, if I have the floor..." There was a swift pause when she took off her hat. Her claws gripped the brim, her talons digging into the soft feather that had adorned it holding it to her furry chest. "I'm Salsa the Wildclaw. Normally I'd give quite a lecture but lets hear what you have to say. I'm esteemed to meet you, although how rude of me not to ask! What would your name be?" Dragons in Sornieth would run away screaming but emperors paled in comparison of gods and ghouls far worse than they. She'd rarely track down an emperor, to have one in the house was nothing new but fun. The rooms were starting to get boring anyhow without a little danger into the mix. The memory of the latest rooms clung to her mind but that quite some time ago how awful it had been - she had new priorities in and out of the house now.

"IT IS UNCLEAR TO ME WHAT YOU CONSIDER 'NEW' TO BE, BUT I'VE BEEN COMING HERE FOR A FEW DAYS. NOBODY HAS TOLD ME MUCH ABOUT THIS PLACE, BUT I GET THE GIST OF IT. WHAT DO YOU KNOW ABOUT IT?" He'd never thought of asking the other creatures about the nature of the strange place or the being controlling it, but now that L mentioned it, he couldn't help but be curious. Maybe it would help him get out of here - at least, he hoped.

Rex | Lodge | MyrninRex broke down further as Myrnin began to cry. The weight of holding Myrnin up suddenly seemed to become too much and together they sank to the ground. His words caught in his throat as he cried, half clinging to Myrnin despite wanting nothing more than to punch him. It hadn't been about them. It had been about Touka. Nobody was supposed to go alone if it could be prevented. Myrnin cheated her of that, because Rex couldn't remember her. He knew his life. He knew that any blink could be his last. He knew he was going to die. When he died, who would be there to remember Touka? She had to be remembered, and now the only ones who knew what had happened to her were an expendable soldier racing blindly toward the end of his life and the vampire who would live forever. And the only one of them who could carry her forever had abandoned her when she needed him most. Rex hated Myrnin, even as he cried into his shoulder. Myrnin | Lodge | Rex It seemed likely that Rex would stop crying before Myrnin, but that wasn't the case. Myrnin wished it was. But he had to stop crying. Not because he wanted too, but because it was dangerous if he continued. The pressure of tears at the back of his eyes were held in and his body shuddered with the effort. He needed the blood, or he'd risk biting Rex. And if there was one thing which would make things even worse, it was that. So the sobs faded, subsided, and stopped, Myrnin swallowing his feelings until they were dried up and hollow inside him. Then he waited. Either for Rex, or the House to blink him out ... what else was there to do ...? What else was there?

Rue watched him move, waiting for the attack that never came. She was begging it to suspect he really wasn’t going to try to kill her. He seemed...sick was the only word she could think of to describe how he looked. She wasn’t sure in what way, just that he looked like he was fighting with himself, locked in a room with a monster he recognized too well. She found she wanted to help him, but she didn’t know how. Myrnin. She didn’t recognize the name, but then, she hadn’t expected to. Her face went very serious as Myrnin continued, and she nodded, a very slight movement that was easy to miss. “This is my world.” She said, so softly she wasn’t even sure whether Myrnin would be able to hear her. She suspected his hearing was better than she’d given him credit for, though, if his ability to detect her was any indication. “This arena is where I’m going, for real. When I blink back, I’m probably going to die.” She looked away. She hated talking about this in the House, because she liked keeping them separate in her head as much as possible. Her world and the House were both unpredictable, but so far the House had been kinder. So far. Not counting this room, perhaps. She nodded. That explained his odd actions, she supposed. He had been in bad rooms before, and he seemed to be fully panicking about the one they were in now. Was that what this was? A panic attack? She wasn’t sure. It could have been, but something told her it probably wasn’t. What are you going to do? She didn’t know what he meant, exactly. Did he mean right now? She decided to assume he did. “I don’t know.” She admitted. “I’ve just been trying to stay alive so far. I guess a fire would be a bad idea, but I want that rabbit so bad.” She was about to ask what Myrnin was going to do when he tipped over and she jumped, startled, and looked wildly around to see whether someone had shot him. But no, there was no one, nothing had happened that she could see. She took a step towards him, then another, until she was close enough to touch him. She didn’t do it. But she could have. “It’s okay.” She said quietly, offering her best reassuring smile. “You’re okay. This room is bad, but it isn’t the one you’re remembering. We’re gonna be fine.” It was the best she could do. She didn’t know how to help him, but she knew she had to try. Besides, he clearly wasn’t going to kill her, and he’d looked out for her while she was asleep. She owed him for that.

[ Anika || Living Room || Lark ] The silence was broken when all of a sudden, a smaller dragon - which the Emperor recognized as a Wildclaw - suddenly appeared in front of her. "Not everyday a dragon appears out of thin air!" Eri, the head with orange eyes, spoke with a chuckle. The other four heads glanced between one another and the smaller dragon. They each had similar questions. They certainly agreed with Eri, but they couldn't help but wonder who this strange dragon was and why she'd teleported here, out of any place. And then there stood the question of the room. As Rua, the crimson-eyed head, had brought up minutes before, it was uncertain whether or not this was actually the place the Emperor had fallen asleep in. The large dragon's heads simply stared at each other for a moment, unsure whether greet themselves or question the fast-talking Wildclaw first. Luckily, the excited Eri decided for the others. "My name's Eri! These are my friends, Xio, Eri, Khi, and Rua!" as she introduced her companions, she gestured towards them with a tilt of her head, "Together, we're known as Anika. Who are you?"

Yes. Definitely new. L nodded and turned, looking over his surroundings now that he’d spoken to the other blinker. It looked like some kind of birthday party to him. There was cake and a piñata, among other party-ish things. He wandered over to the cake and began to cut himself a slice. “A few days isn’t long, but it depends on how many times you’ve blinked in during them.” He explained, not looking at Stormcatcher. He seemed quite focused on the cake. “For example, I’ve blinked in over a hundred times.” He considered how to answer that question. “I know a great deal.” He explained finally, placing the cake on a plate and turning to face the dragon. “It might be easier for us both if you simply ask any questions you might have.” The detective took a bite of cake. Then, with his mouth full, he continued. “Would you like some cake?”

WOOH! That was the first thought that flew through Myrnin's head. Then it changed into excited cackling. He was covered in snow and it took him a second to realize he'd been tipped over and back into a pile of snow that had likely been created by the tumble of snowballs which Eises had created. It was with effort that he dragged himself into a seated position and started laughing. He had to spit some snow out in the process to do so, but it was good and hearty when he was done doing that. "That was good!" he said through the laughter. His eyes sparkled and he lifted both of his snow coated arms up to try and wipe a bit of it from his eyes. He blinked several times and focused on Eises after a while, grinning like the madman that he was. "Where you planning that from the start?" he asked eagerly. "That was awesome. You had so many snowballs! Did you make them with magic or something else? You look more wolf-y right now too. Is that intentional? Did you know I was there?" It was a flurry of questions which was almost greater than the snow that had fallen on him. He was as excited as a child. Eises felt satisfied that her plan had worked, and she smiled smugly as Myrnin was tipped over from the weight of the snowballs. If Myrnin were Julius, she'd still keep going with the snow. It didn't seem like the cold had much effect on him, which was good. She wouldn't want to accidentally make a vampire ice pop. With her heightened wolf senses, it led her to wonder how that would taste like. She grinned, "Of course." Usually, the snowball fights back home include her throwing her onslaught of snow balls from the beginning, without stopping. It wasn't a bad way to practice one's dodging technique either. "Snow is made of ice, so I just use my magic." To demonstrate, she lifted her wrist with her palm facing downwards. A pile of snow floated into the air and into her hand. She flipped her palm to face upwards, and formed a floating snowball. Her wolf-like characteristics were still strongly visible. Myrnin's questions were reminding her of Hyacin. The two seemed to share a similar sense of curiosity, which was truly delightful for Eises. Her eyes brightened, "Demitheians and semitheians get more animal-like when we get really excited...or really mad...or really happy." She chuckled sheepishly, "I don't have control over it when that happens, it just happens!" "I-I figured it out after I got excited. You kinda smell like...human? I-I think it's human...And there was an ice-cow giving you away too." Eises was half-surprised it didn't start eating his hair while he was hiding. "H-How long were you hiding for? Did you plan on stayin' in there all day?" Myrnin | Ice Statue Room | Eises "Darn cow," Myrnin muttered, amused. He shifted from foot to foot, shaking some of the snow off his arms. It was really coated on though. He chuckled over the smelling of humans detail. "Yeah, not surprised. I was stuck on a train full of the smelly creatures. Wonder if it'll ever come out of my clothes." He glanced up from where he was busily brushing away snow from his clothing. "I'm very patient and used to waiting. I certainly would have stayed there all day if I wanted too. I might have given up after a bit, just because my body temperature was dropping to match the surrounding and I wouldn't have wanted you to have to thaw me out. It would have taken ages and been no fun for either of this." He flexed his fingers, demonstrating the growing stiffness. "It'll slow down a bit now I'm moving - but I don't exactly have an internal means of generating heat very well. Ah, the side-effects of being able to function in different temperatures for long periods of time." He glanced at Eises ears. "Though I will say, you seem to be doing pretty well. Is that a wolf thing or a demitheian thing? Staying out in the cold, that is. Maybe we should start looking for a way out."

Arcelia couldn't help but wonder what Texas looked like, but she kept her thoughts to herself. "M-maybe we can explore?" she suggested, gesturing to the field around them with the flick of her tail. She had no idea of what else to do. She was stuck here, and there looked to be nowhere else to go. "What d-do you think the p-puzzle is?" She knew that asking him was probably not likely to yield a helpful answer, especially if he was the reason she was here in the first place. However, she found herself curious as to what he would say.

"THIS IS MY THIRD VISIT, OR 'BLINK', AS YOU CALL IT," Stormcatcher replied, assuming a 'blink' was when someone randomly appeared in this place for no known reason. He didn't know if L was telling the truth when he spoke of his number of blinks, but the dragon god surely didn't want to 'blink' as many times as he had. In fact, he wanted this to be his last. He was tired of having his work interrupted. That brought him to his lone question, "HOW DO YOU GET THE THING CONTROLLING THIS PLACE TO LEAVE YOU ALONE? AND I WOULD NOT LIKE ANY CAKE."

Salsa - Living Room Room - Anika The wildclaw gave an amused chuckle watching as the many heads make sense of the situation they had been forced into. Newbies it would seem, never actually changed with their questions even if their answers were being told straight to there face. Having once said her title the bounty thought it wouldn't hurt to have another chance to do the rookie speech. "I'm Salsa the Wildclaw, pleasured to have made your acquaintance," She continued in her ever tiring voice, "The place where you and I are in is called the Paradox House otherwise known as the house. Most of the time people come and go at the house's will alone, best not to anger it or go against what it wants if it ever wanted something to begin with. When you're in the house just remember that time in Sornieth stops meaning nothing changes, quite likely no one will remember you were even gone!" She stopped to catch her breath. "Aside from the drama, you'll most likely be the only emperor around so keep that in mind. Sornieth has quite a few individuals attending this realm, there's another wildclaw that frequents here along with a few gods. OH! Don't forget that this place can have its fair share of danger, keep an eye of where you are at all times since this room is the only safe place in the entire house." While this had been going on she gave a few flaps of her stonewash blue wings to put emphasis on choice words. There was no mentorship inside the house but given how many blinkers came in is best to make a good intro rather than a rushed one. Otherwise, she'd have her head talked off by one of the older blinkers screaming about a five headed dragon making a mess for everyone. That being said she stopped once more allowing the many heads to process as to what she had been blathering on about for the past -- whoops, forgot time existed. "Rest assured most blinkers, that's the name for ourselves, are fairly nice. Some of oldest friends occasionally appear here. This room is specifically called the living room mainly because of the furniture, humans - whom you'll be acquainted with, are a species that make up a majority of the house. To them they call a room like this a living room so it stuck. Don't know why but it just does? You're welcome to visit the other places at your own behest but do remember it can get dangerous even by your lonesome."

OKAY sorry for the wait things have been,,,,not hectic but too distracting to get a post together) Sachiko | Arena pt. 2 | mintedstar/fur --cato phoenix Razzle Dazzle |If everyone around her hadn't looked so dead serious, Sachiko might have burst out laughing at Arlo's explanation. But...she was serious, wasn't she? She looked serious. Everyone looked like they were taking this whole situation in stride...that was interesting. Did they realize how they sounded? "I see," she said in a carefully neutral tone, glancing between Arlo and the Doctor as she began to walk with them. "And where are we going? Do any of you know this forest?" As she walked, she kept scanning her surroundings, glancing systematically from tree to tree with a careful eye in case she spotted any movement. Just for safety's sake, she was inclined to take them at their word when they said there were dangerous people after them. She'd rather be wrong than dead.

[ Anika || Clone Living Room || Lark ] Salsa's rambling answered most of Anika's questions, but at the same time, it raised more. Rua was about to open her mouth to speak, but was cut off as the energetic Eri spoke. "A pleasure to meet you, Salsa! So, this is a place outside of Sornieth? How many other dragons have you met? And what do humans look like? And by time stops, do you mean when we return we return at the same moment we left?" her eyes widened in excitement as the questions tumbled off her tongue. She moved her head closer to the ground so that she could get closer to the other dragon. Her enthusiasm caused one of the Emperor's two tails to wag. Had Eri's body not been shared with four other minds, she likely would have bounced across the room in excitement. "Will she stop?" Rua mouthed to Khi. She was happy that her friend was excited, but she was rather annoyed that she'd intervened when she'd tried to speak. The crimson-eyed dragon sighed in relief when Eri was finished speaking. "If you don't mind me asking, what exactly is dangerous about the rooms? And what exactly is this 'Paradox House'? "If this place isn't on Sornieth, where is it?" Ysa chimed in. Xio and Khi stayed silent. Whatever had just happened, they didn't want to believe that they were swept away to some 'Paradox House' place. The fast-talking Wildclaw was certainly fishy, and they were skeptical of her. "She's delirious," Xio whispered to Khi, rolling her eyes.

Myrnin | Arena Room part 2 (possibly has adopted Rue) | ®Hawkpath® It took a second for Myrnin to really catch up with everything and even then he still had to wait several more seconds to feel up to responding. It was so ... complicated. Everything was complicated. His eyes focused on Rue and he chuckled. Just a little. Not with any humor though. "No. No, it's not the one I remember. It's worse." He slowly got to his feet. He didn't seem shaky anymore. Not in the same sense as his limbs trembling or anything like that. Instead, he felt like his insides were shaking. "Your world," he said slowly, still trying to process that. "I'm sorry." What could he say? She was going to die. At least, that was what it seemed like. He could have killed her easily. Would she honestly last the room on hiding alone? He felt a bit sick, for a different reason than before. If L could die by landmine, then maybe it was possible that everyone could be picked off before Rue. He didn't think he liked that idea. Not one bit. "Come on," he said, heading back in the direction he'd come. "I can hear your stomach. You can make a fire burn smokeless if you are careful about how you start it and when. You'll want to start it soon, when the sky's changing colors and it's harder to make things out. Then when it gets going, it'll be harder to detect." The lecture was on autopilot, but he still managed it. He glanced at Rue though, unsure if she would actually want to come with him. He paused, as if trying to think of some incentive, then glanced away again. "Thank you. For trying to help. I'm not okay though. And we're not going to be fine." He sighed. "But I'll see what I can do about you being fine. Rabbit. You're hungry. I wouldn't want you to starve." Who knew how long this room would last.

L | Party Room | Sησω“Ah, that’s probably why you know so little.” L mused, eyeing the dragon as though he were a science experiment and the results were pending. “Yes, appearing here is known as blinking. I assume you can guess why. He took a bite of cake and chewed slowly as Stormcatcher went on, considering the question. “You don’t, as far as I can tell.” He said finally, speaking around the fork in his mouth. “Not that I’ve given up. But I there isn’t a solution that the current blinkers of the Paradox House know of. It’s possible, of course, that previous blinkers have escaped, but there’s no way of knowing how they did it. Are you sure you don’t want any cake?” He hadn’t blinked the entire time he was speaking, and he still didn’t as he offered a slice to the dragon. “It’s sweet.”

Sam | St. Patrick's Day Room | Sησω "Alright," said Sam easily. He nodded around. He didn't know Ireland geography, not specifics, but he assumed that things were around to explore. The House had likely given them something to do. "I'm not sure what the puzzle is," Sam admitted. "There might be something on one of these stones. I saw something on the way in." Arcelia was interesting, he thought. But he did have to note that she was young, and seemed to have a one track mind about many of the things they did in this room. Not a bad thing, but Sam was unused to such daunting focus.

Rue nodded seriously, not understanding what it was that was hurting him, but getting the gist of it. It was bad, and it was probably something that had happened to him. She was used to seeing people in bad places after something awful had happened, and she thought that was probably what was happening here. He still looked a little bit off to her, but she didn’t know whether there was anything she could do about that. She could offer to help him get up - no, he was already up, and he didn’t look that bad physically anymore. Maybe whatever it was, it was passing for now. She offered a small, sideways smile as he apologized. “It’s okay.” She said, even though it wasn’t. “I’m not going to hurt anyone, but I’m not giving up, either. Maybe they’ll all kill each other and I’ll hide until they’re gone. Or maybe the Gamemakerw will forget about me.” She knew the odds were not in her favor. Honestly, she was just trying to seem optimistic for her family, and her own mental well-being until she was killed. She listened, perking up a bit as he said they could have a fire safely. She trusted him, because he could have killed her and he hadn’t, so he was a friend, right? Probably? For now, anyway, she didn’t question his motives. “Okay.” She agreed, moving to follow him back to the camp. “I haven’t eaten anything all day, I could eat that whole rabbit by myself. Unless you wanted some of course.” She added, glancing up at him. He probably hadn’t eaten either, after all. And she didn’t know whether he was human or not, so she didn’t know what he ate. And now she was probably overthinking this. He would eat if he was hungry, she decided, and left it at that. “I know.” She said quietly, looking down as she followed him. “You’re right. But we can’t lose hope. If we give up, it really will be over, and it doesn’t have to be yet. We still have a chance.”

(H-hewwo? I'm back from the void after like a year or two uwu) Gray || Living Room "Master, please get up...Lady Reines is coming soon..." A petite teenager mumbled, reaching out to shake her mentor's body. Once again, he had passed out after spending the entire night playing video games. To think that the calm and cool Lord of the Clocktower could be so...untidy and lazy, was rather shocking to the former grave keeper. Yet the moment her right hand came into contact with nothing rather than her master's arm, her blue eyes widened. "Um!" She squeaked, her eyes darting around the area. This...this didn't even resemble her master's apartment! Was this some kind of illusion? No, her master was a good-for-nothing mage, he couldn't accomplish something of this scale! Gulping, she tightened her grip on a golden bird cage, while making sure that her hood was hiding her face.

Dipper | Living Room | Gray
Dipper blinked into the living room after facing a monster that literally held the magic of fear in its eyes. Normally the screaming and panic would follow such a sight but he sucked in a deep breath. His nerves hadn't gotten the best of him yet the bars that held the fearsome foe now vanished to be that of another cage. He blinked his eyes to behold what was a cube in a bird cage -did this thing shapeshift as well? The boy stifled his desire to prod it, he merely glanced to the hand holding it to be that of a stranger. A stranger in the living room.
"Ah, um, you're not an illusion?" He frowned tucking his hands into his vest out of habit. The gremoblin as the author had put it bluntly can make you see things terrible things that would have you quivering in your hypothetical boots. What was there to fear about some person in a shabby cloak carrying around a cage? Furthermore, no one knew about the house making it an eternal paradox as the name suggested. "Cause if you're not, then sorry to break it to you but you're basically stuck here. Like, for awhile."

Flinching, Gray whirled around to face an unfamiliar boy, eyeing his clothes in particular. Oh no, he didn't appear to be a magus...and he's staring at Add! Recalling what her master had told her about preserving the secrets of magecraft, she squeaked again and hid Add behind her back. "N-no, I'm sorry!" She apologized with a bowed head, "I...I must have stumbled her by accident. I-I'll leave immed–eh?" Her eyebrows furrowed as she stared at him, trying to process what he had just said. "...what do you mean? Did...you do this?"
