Noah | Living Room | <Raintalon> “2015?” Noah repeated, eyes widening just a little. “What happens in 2015? It’s only…” he frowned, trying to remember what year he was from. That was really something he should have known, but again, time passed weirdly. “2009 for me. And uh…” he looked away, rubbing at his cheek again. “I’ve never thought about going. I guess I don’t really have a reason… to…” he trailed off. He’d had a girlfriend, once upon a time. She hadn’t loved him, and the truth was he had just wanted to be her friend. She hadn’t been interested in friendship, she just wanted to hang around Noah’s best friend. He’d never really understood the appeal of dating anyone, and though he’d wondered if it would be differently if it were a boy… he didn’t know. But Matt hadn’t asked, and it wasn’t the sort of thing you just… volunteered, so he kept all of that to himself.

L watched as Myrnin sat, or crouched, opposite to him. The only part of him in motion was his dark eyes as they followed the vampire, and he didn’t even raise an eyebrow at the way he sat. He could copy if he liked. It would only make this more interesting. He didn’t react when Myrnin acknowledged the fact he’d offered, and he didn’t answer either, his black hair almost hiding his expression. It was obvious he didn’t trust Myrnin, obvious from the way he sat stiffly and tensed, to the way his eyes never left the other blinker, never even blinked. He was waiting for something to happen again, only this time, he had no idea what it would be. “It’s very easy. Children play it often.” He assured Myrnin, and reached out, pinching a piece of wood between his forefinger and thumb. Without looking away from Myrnin’s face, he pulled it out and set it on the table. “The goal is to avoid being the person who sends the tower crashing down. To do so, you have to watch where you take support from, and be careful not to take it from a place that needs it. Your turn.” He waited. Obviously, the House wasn’t going to let them out of talking to each other forever. It seemed their time of stalling had come to an end. He wondered who would mention the elephant in the room first.

The Doctor | Living Room | ~∂єѕтιиу and anyone else who wants to join One rather wet Time Lady blinked in, her hair dripping with rain water. She didn't seem to mind, instead shaking out her coat a bit, along with her shoe. "Buckets," she muttered to herself. She did a bit of a turn, glancing down at herself and the puddle she was creating. "Sorry about the floor though. Bit o' a mess on my part." She glanced up at the living room, blinking, and using her hand to wipe away some of the water. "Least its dry. Though I must admit I'm a bit disappointed. I could have used more time."

Ougi - living room
With a crash, Ougi landed on the couch in the living room and knocked one of the cushions onto the floor. She had been driving her bike at full speed when the Paradox House decided to pull her right out of her own world. Very dangerous of it, she might argue. As the high school student brushed herself off and climbed away from the couch, she chuckled darkly at The Doctor. "Trying to destroy this place too, are you?" she accused facetiously. Her hair and clothes seemed to lie perfectly, even though she had just taken an enormous tumble. "It would seem you're experiencing a bit of a flood in your world."

Vincent - Living Room
Vincent blinked in, quickly distracted by sight of the mess, consequence of the other two blinker’s chaotic arrivals. He regarded the wet floor and displaced cushions with a look of disapproval, then eyed the two woman who’d caused the disruption with the same keen gaze. He recognized both figures by name, but he’d only interacted with either of them in passing; from what he could recall, neither likely had a pleasant impression of him. He seemed rather alright with that, as he was currently watching the pool of water beneath the doctor as it slowly grew in diameter with a lifted eyebrow.

Arlo listened, her visible eye now focused more attentively on the other blinker as he confirmed her suspicions. Only his fourth blink, and second time seeing the living room. "Well then, welcome to the Paradox House," she replied, then added, "I don't know how much the others have told you so far, but this room is the only one that doesn't change, so you'll probably be seeing it a lot. It's usually safe as long as you don't end up stuck in a fight with other blinkers or anything." So far Orpheus didn't seem at all like someone who would start a fight, but with the variety of people in the House you didn't necessarily have to start a fight to get killed. It didn't happen a lot, but she remembered a couple of times where people had blinked in for no apparent reason other than to attack other blinkers, like the guy in the playground room- assuming he hadn't been part of the room- or that kid who'd blinked into the living room, stabbed Kaito, and blinked out.
"Yeah, I've been coming here for a long time," she replied, nodding to his first question. At his second question however, she paused and tilted her head slightly to the side as considered her answer, trying to think of the best way to explain her view of the House to someone who'd only seen it a few times. "No, I wouldn't say so, though some might. The Paradox House is a very strange, complicated place with a life and mind of its own... you said you’ve been in a couple rooms so you might have some idea of what the rooms can be like- basically anything," Arlo paused again, glancing toward the doorway to the hall then back to Orpheus, slowly turning her locket on its cord as she continued, "I won't lie, the majority of them are dangerous even if they don't seem to be at first glance and there's no way of telling anything until you're already inside so you shouldn't try going into them without another blinker, preferably one who can fight if needed..." It took a few moments for her to realize she was kind of straying from his original question. "The House can be cruel at times but kind in its own strange way at others... I've seen so much here that I'd never have known about otherwise. To me, the people I've met and things I've seen and learned are worth the more negative sides of it."

Ougi - living room
"Good morning!" Ougi said when Vincent appeared and stood idly by. It was much more interesting to interrupt other blinkers' affairs, she believed, but for some reason this one was merely watching her and The Doctor instead of doing or saying anything. "Why don't you do something?" she asked outright, deciding not to keep the thought to herself. "Then again, maybe you are doing something, and that thing is thinking, and you're doing it so thoroughly that you don't have time for anything else." The student hobbled from one foot to the other, skirt swaying and odd smile turning up at Vincent. "In that case, why not tell me what you're thinking so hard about? Maybe it's something in your world. Something that's gone horribly wrong," she prompted. She said it as if hoping something terrible had happened to him, as if she would feed on his misfortunes. That was something most oddities did, after all, but she wasn't one of them.

Vincent - Living Room
Vincent tilted his head as Ougi addressed him, the quizzical look he’d had turned on the Doctor now meeting the student. He briefly considered his past encounters with her and any knowledge he had of her personality, his eyebrows still raised as she spoke. There was a hint of amusement lingering in his expectant look, though he remained silent as she approached, then smiled as she prompted him to share his thoughts. “Would you have rather me interject?” He asked, seeming to ignore all other questions that had followed her proposal that he’d been lost in thought. He seemed genuinely curious of what she would have found more normal of an arrival - seeing as his silence had made her so perturbed.

The Doctor didn't seem surprised by Ougi's and Vincent's appearance. It seemed like the sort of people who would turn up with her luck. "Hello," she greeted. She didn't seem inclined to make any sorts of waves. "How are both of ya?" She somehow figured both of them were probably going to pick at each other. It seemed likely that there was going to be a reason to argue with Vincent. He was doing the same thing as he had before when he was quiet. Sly, really. Sly was word she was looking for. "What was happenin' in yar world to come crashin' in like that?" she added, referring to Ougi's blink.

Ougi - living room
“Of course!” Ougi said with a smile at Vincent. When Ougi smiled at you, it was never really friendly. It never meant good news. “Oh, hello,” she turned toward The Doctor, whose more open attitude fended off her mischief. “I was just riding my bicycle is all. This place has a habit of bringing me in while I’m doing stunts.” Of course. As someone who always seemed to have perfect balance—except when it was a perfect time not to—and who never seemed to break a sweat, she would be someone performing bike stunts. “Aren’t you going to explain... That?” She pointed, with a hand where the pink sleeve flopped around past it, at the puddle around The Doctor’s feet.

It was a close shave and Myrnin didn't like close shaves. He spun, avoiding yet another arrow awkwardly just so he could catch sight of Hange. The arrow brushed his nose, a scratch sliding down it, and Myrnin hissed. Hange was also looking a bit cornered. But, just like that, both of their attacks disappeared. Myrnin scrambled, surprised, then wary. This wasn't some House trick, was it? The light outside the windows had shifted as well. Myrnin stood. He didn't ask if Hange was okay, he could tell they were still moving so they couldn't have gotten hurt that much if they'd been pinned. He hesitantly worked his way back to the door and opened it. Then whistled. "Hey Hange," he said, rubbing the scratch on his nose. "Come look at this. We're back in the living, but I think the little shack might have partly come with us …"

Ah yes. The elephant in the room. Myrnin was trying to ignore it. "How delightful," he said. "I often fail at children's games." He brightly looked at the tower but didn't really feel the energy. L seemed tensed to run. Which really didn't help. Relaxed and observing was a much better look on him. Myrnin reached out and took the block from the top. "Simply speaking, wouldn't it be easier to take the blocks from the top, yes?" He stared at L, as if waiting for some acknowledge of his thought process. He missed a second later when the block disappeared from the table and reappeared on the block tower. So apparently he couldn't do that. Myrnin frowned, then reached out, snagging a block about midway down the tower. It seemed a good option. The tower didn't collapse. "Your turn," he said. He didn't mean the tower. He'd acknowledge L's comment about the Murder Mystery Room. L needed to say his piece.

Rowlin’s expression shifted, his fears of having to go into more details were flooded with appreciation for the connection in the topic. “Y-yes! Exactly, it helps for hunting purposes!” He exclaimed happily. It felt great. When Hange grabbed his hand, he welcomed their presence, there was no immediate danger, rather it felt like Hange was an enthusiastic student, the type often encountered. It was always a bright day when their was an enthusiastic student. On the other hand he couldn’t help but frown, it was evident now which way the answer was going. He looked off to the side, briefly looking away displeased from Hange who obliterated the definition of personal space. “I-I unfortunately cannot give this one away. They are bounded to its user. It wouldn’t work, to you it would just be some old bracelet.” He softly explained. On the inside he was thinking of ways to make dragon murder look like an accident. He started to ponder, “they are also difficult to hand out. Crafted specifically for the user in mind. Sometimes they mask its user, other times they restrict its users. I could try to get you one, maybe one that gives off the scent of a human, perhaps?” That’s still not how that works...

Vince - Living Room
Vincent returned her smile with a quirked smirk - though it seemed to be a show of intrigue for her peculiar behavior rather than of amusement. “Oh,” he said simply, sounding like he had been expecting that answer but hadn’t bothered to think ahead for how to answer it. Instead he sat straight as the Doctor approached and watched the two converse. His eyes stayed low, mostly watching water fall from the Doctor’s clothing, although he did lift his gaze occasionally to watch the faces of the two as they spoke to each other. Judging by the content look on his face, he had no interest in taking Ougi’s advice.

Ougi's question caused The Doctor to look down at the puddle, as if she had forgotten the floor and her clothing was still wet. "Oh, this?" she said. "It's rainin'. Pretty hard. You should be lucky it isn't purple. Never comes out." She rubbed her hands over her coat. "But just run of the mill Earth rain. Nothin' special. Could be special. Maybe. Haven't gotten that far yet." She looked down at her hand, wet again, and licked the palm. She thought about it for a second, considering the taste, then shook her head. "Nah. Nope. Just rain." She blinked at Vincent and asked, "Ya wouldn't happen ta have a towel on ya, woulda?"

Ougi - living room - vince and the doctor
"Purple rain..." Ougi felt that there was a pop culture reference waiting to be said, but she left that lead where she found it. Anyway, The Doctor seemed to be Ougi's kind of weird. She showed no shock when the other blinker tasted the rain that had wet her hand. The student happened to have a handkerchief on her, but seeing as Vincent was asked instead, she stepped one foot to the side to welcome him back to the conversation. After all, that was surely the purpose of the question, rather than a desire to actually dry off. It was surprising that in a place populated with people who had supernatural abilities, someone couldn't simply shoot air at her or snap their fingers to magically make the water disappear. Unfortunate indeed. "Well, perhaps a room? It's been a while, and I myself am hoping for a new mystery to solve." It was a white lie. She really just wanted to be trapped with other people and watch the way they tick when stuck in those situations.

Vince - Living Room
Vincent stared at the Doctor as she explained herself, lifting his eyebrows slightly and sending a glance in Ougi’s direction when the student repeated the same phrase that had perked his interest. While he hadn’t been thinking of quite the same thing, he could still appreciate that someone else could acknowledge the fact colored rain would be an oddity in their world as well. When the Doctor turned on him and asked for a towel, he lifted his chin again - greeting her with full attention - only to **** his head at her in a subtle scowl. He didn’t ridicule the question, however, and instead humored the possibility by holding out his arms slightly and looking down at his person. When no towel spontaneously appeared, he dropped his arms and looked back up at her, presumably indicating he was done with his search. He didn’t spare a word throughout the ordeal, though his demeanor was fairly conclusive; given he moved on to the next topic without needing to comment on the last. “A new mystery?” He repeated with a smile. “Did you two solve the last one?”

L didn’t smile, but the edges of his mouth did twitch a little, which was as close as he was likely to get to it. He wasn’t used to being so actively nervous about anything; despite the fact that he was used to multiple high-stakes cases at the same, he normally was fairly detached from it. It was rarely so personal, and even more rarely was he physically present. He felt awkward and anxious, and he disliked it. He blamed Myrnin, of course - how could he not - but at the same time he wondered whether he was also to blame for the situation they found themselves in now. He should have guessed how the vampire would react. He should have known, somehow. He should have…. Well, he hadn’t. And here they were. L reached out and carefully took a piece from the tower, his hands as steady as his dark gaze on Myrnin. “Probably.” He agreed. “Unless your aim is to end the game quickly, or trap the other player. It depends on whether you’re working with them...or against them.” He wasn’t going to keep hesitating. They were here, it was obvious what the House has intended, and he realized sourly that for once he agreed. They were going to have this conversation right here and right now. “Let me ask you something.” He said finally, shattering the silence. “How long did it take you to decide there was only one option?” He assumed Myrnin would understand the question. Either way, he didn’t explain further, just stared unblinkingly at the older man, his gaze hard. “Your turn.”

[ Arcelia || Hallway || mintedstar/fur ]A sense of dread formed in Arcelia's stomach as she entered the hallway. Not only was the boy correct about there being a hallway behind that door, but there were a plethora of doors lining the hallway. Doors were everywhere on either side of her. Oh no. This had to be some sort of trap, alright. Someone was trying to mess with her. How and why were there this many doors? I'll see what's ahead, she thought to herself, ignoring Sam as he approached. Of course she didn't know what was in the rooms. That was obvious. The young Guardian ran through the hallway as quickly as she could. However, it was no use. There was seemingly no end - the hallway just kept going and going and going! To make matters worse, the doors continued. They were still there, as close together as before, on both sides of Arcelia. Where's the way out? she thought to herself. She didn't want to go back and ask the human for directions. He had been of no help before, so why would he be of help now? She was left to decide which door to go through. Her heart raced as she looked at the plethora of doors around her. Which one? In a blind panic, she ran towards a door on her left. Stretching out her claws to turn the knob, she opened it and slid inside. (I apologize for the delayed reply!)

Orpheus looked around. It was a rather plain room compared to the others he had been in, but then again it also seemed a lot safer. Besides, he had met nice people here. Not that he hadn’t met nice people in the other rooms, but his meeting with L had been a lot calmer than when he had met Kelsier, and Arlo seemed a lot more familiar with this place than Arno had been. Then again, he supposed his first room had been one where everyone was new. It was odd, he realized, that he hadn’t seen any of those people again. Then again, he hadn’t seen anyone again, so it wasn’t like it was too strange that he hadn’t seen any of them since. “Fortunately I don’t plan on starting or taking part in any fights,” Orpheus admitted lightly. He didn’t like the idea that he could be caught up in some sort of violence here for no other reason than because someone wanted to start a fight. “Do… do fights here happen often?” That was another thing to take into consideration. It didn’t mean Orpheus was going to arm himself just in case there were fights, but it would be good to at least know the risk. Even if he didn’t plan on doing anything to mitigate it. The best he could do was hope that music could touch even those who came here to pick fights, or at least surprise them long enough that they would be too confused to keep attacking. Hearing Arlo’s take on the House was interesting, but he was stuck on something. “Did you say your name was Arlo?” In his very first blink outside of the newbie room, L had mentioned that name, and Orpheus hadn’t thought much about it. “It’s just… I met someone who said you were dead. If you’re even the same person. I… I’m sorry, I’m not sure that makes sense.” He stumbled over the words, not sure how to delicately ask someone that. He wasn’t exactly good at being delicate with words – that was what music was for, when he couldn’t get the words in his head to come out right when they were just spoken. But if this was the same Arlo… it meant that her take on the balance of the House was that much more important. If she was really the first blinker… not that Orpheus was inclined to ask that right off the bat when he didn’t know her yet. Still, it was a relief to hear that maybe the House made up for the bad parts with the good things it supplied. Orpheus had the feeling he had only experienced the tip of the iceberg when it came to the evil the House had to offer.

"Not very common," said Myrnin with a shrug. "Some people have similar names - some people are named after me. But my name in particular isn't heard of very often." He leaned down, scooping up some snow into his hands and packing it together as he thought of how to answer the rest. "We're hidden. As best as we can be. I can eat garlic, it doesn't mean I'll like it. It's a personal preference though. And I can be in water, I'm actually a rather good swimmer. My main means of continuing my existence is blood, though I could eat other things." He paused, the ball of snow in his hands was now a bit large. "Yes, I was. It was a very long time ago. You always start as a human. It's the only way it works." He glanced down at the snowball, then up again at Eises' eyes. "Oh, very interesting!" he said, sounding pleased. He was covered in a fine layer of frost, but he didn't seem to notice. The snowball seemed more appropriate. He ignored her question about what gold meant. Or he was planning to, only he thought better of it. "It means I'm very old. It's something you can ... lapse into. It means I'm very dangerous and could kill you ... hardly without thinking about it. Like every moment you exist could be based on a coin-flip and I'm the one in control of the coin." He shuddered. "Yes, we usually have good memories. I personally do not. Honestly though, if you were curious, I could tell you want you had for breakfast." He hefted the snowball. "Education you say? Apart from history, I could teach you just about anything you wanted to know. If the same rules apply in my world as yours. But that's something to think about later." The snowball was waiting. He didn't wait any longer to toss it. He tossed it at Eises and at once started running, scrambling in the snow as he did, reaching down to pick up more as he moved. "O-Oh. I don't think I've ever heard it before meeting you." If it was found in Theia, it definitely wasn't near Elisia. Since she hadn't been blinking with the vampire regularly, she was convinced she started to mispronounce his name now. "S-So, every vampire has to hide? Not just your names, but your whole being?" Being a vampire was sounding more and more sad to her. Immortal and hidden? "Mmm so the myths in Theia are a little different...W-What about..." She raised her hands: with one hand she formed a circle with her fingers, and used the index finger of her either hand to form a line going vertically down the "circle." "This symbol, does touching this make you burn?" That was another part of the legends in Theia, wearing a necklace with the symbol supposedly protected anyone from a vampire, and vampires were physically unable to enter rooms that had this symbol above the door frame. "S-So that's one thing the legends aren't wrong with. W-Well, I guess it's Theian in our case and not human." As curious as Eises was, she restrained herself from asking how Myrnin got turned into a vampire. The demitheian was still curious what exactly Myrnin could do when his eyes turned gold, but she got the hint that he was being rather vague on purpose. She supposed it was similar to her not bringing up her amber eyes, but of course Myrnin already saw those in the room when he had to use his power over her. She wasn't too bothered by the fact that Myrnin could easily kill her whenever he wanted to, she was around people like that back home, she was used to it. Of course, that doesn't mean she would willingly approach him if his eyes did happen to turn gold in a future blink. That's a warning she'll remember. Eises laughed, "Oh yeah? W-What did I eat for breakfast?" She wondered if he was able to guess what she planned on eating for dinner later today. "Y-You don't have to, it's not like I'd be able to use that education anyway." She lowered her ears rather pessimistically. Her future was...quite uncertain. It was something she could depressingly think about all day, but often tried not to. Despite the fact that Myrnin just offered a game of snowballs, she was startled when he actually threw one. It caught her off guard, so she didn't dodge it. She stood there for a few seconds before finally smirking. Should I cheat? Her grin became a toothy one as she briskly picked up some snow. Maybe later. Like a baseball pitcher, she chucked the ball in Myrnin's direction and immediately crouched to pick up two more clumps of snow before setting off after him. The snowball hit home, but this was because Myrnin had wanted to. He laughed. Snow fell away from his shoulder. He took two of his own snowballs and tossed them at Eises, rolling away. He looked happy. Active and playing with reckless abandon. He darted through some of the status of ice, which either scattered away from him or ran with him. The vampire was running at what might have been counted as normal speeds, yelling over his shoulder as he did, "Nope! Doesn't burn! Neither does this!" He made a cross with both fingers, not paying attention. A ice sculpture pig was directly in his path when he wasn't paying attention and he tumbled over backwards, scrambling excitedly as he did. He popped back up a second later, the ice sculpture moving aside. Myrnin had a handful of snow now, looking giddy. "And yep!" he continued to say to Eises. "Hiding! I'm awful at it. Catch!" Or rather, dodge, since he tossed the snowball as he said it. He was moving again, jumping a bit higher than a human when an ice sculpture didn't move fast enough, and trying to more actively avoid getting hit. "And you ate Egg and pork and tomatoes and onions and too much peppers!" he called as he dodged behind a tree. He snickered, pressing himself into the bark, gathering up more snowballs and throwing them with random glee as he came out from behind it. There wasn't much more to do other than keep up the running. He was having a great time though. He finally stopped, snow sweeping up around him as he pressed himself flat to the snow suddenly, hoping that Eises hadn't seen him since he'd been behind some ice sculptures. Who were moving, but he wanted to see if he could surprise her. He was coated in enough snow for it. A snow Myrnin. Hiding from an ice Eises. This was going pretty well!

Matt | Living room | strider |“Oh, yeah, that’s cool,” said Matt quickly, slightly taken aback that the boy who had specifically pointed out his flag and shown interest in Pride seemed to have no interest in actually attending one. That was unusual. He bit his tongue, deciding to sit on the question of why or why not. People didn't really like questions like that from strangers, and he didn't want to scare off his new friend. But he recovered fast from all that, and leaned forward a little more, draping his arms over his knees and resuming his usual look of ease. “I have straight friends who go too, but yeah, it’s totally not everybody’s jam.”

Hange | Living room(sort of) | mintedstar/fur |Hange, for their part, had just lunged blades out at their opponent when they suddenly vanished, sending the new vampire crashing clumsily across the now-empty cabin and into the nearby table, smashing it into pieces and landing heavily in the rubble. "Oh dear," they said, passively observing a piece of wood that had staked them through the arm. Without hesitation, they grabbed it and yanked it out, wincing and rotating their shoulder in order to assess any potential damage. "I seem to be encountering sharp pieces of wood rather frequently, don't I? Funny how it never happened before...oh, maybe because I'm stronger, now? So I can cause more damage to - OH, what did you say???" They stood up and were at Myrnin's side in an instant, their vampire speed working perfectly now that they weren't actively trying to use it. It seemed some movements were, finally, starting to become instinctive. "The living room...?" they said, staring out the window with wide, curious eyes. "How unusual..."

Hange | Living room | Auransky |"Ah, I see...a shame," said Hange disappointedly, stepping back a foot or so and squinting thoughtfully at Rowlin's wrist. So, they weren't getting the bracelet. But they did want it so very badly...briefly, they even considered whether or not it would be possible to just separate the entire hand from the person, bracelet and all, and make off with it. Then they'd have the device and some genetic material to work with... Then, as quickly as the idea had crossed their mind, it flitted away, leaving them back where they started. They brightened considerably, though, when Rowlin offered to bring them one of their own. "Oh, would you??" they asked, straightening up as a hungry sort of light colored their eyes the slightest bit red. "That would be fantastic! I would be greatly in your debt."

(Sorrrrrrrrrrrrrry! D: ) The Doctor | Living Room | ~∂єѕтιиу Razzle Dazzle "A room," said The Doctor, turning the words over in her mouth as if she'd never heard them before. She wasn't sure Ougi's words were truthful, but then again it was always difficult to tell when Ougi's words were truthful. He paused at Vincent's words. She had assumed there had just been some vague example when Ougi had said what she'd said. But Vincent seemed like he had something on his mind. "What mystery?" she asked with curiosity, looking between Vince and Ougi. "Been a bit outta the loop." She nodded at Ougi though. She agreed a room would be a good idea. She was curious what Vincent would say first though.

Sam | Hallway | SησωSam slowed to a halt when he entered the hallway. But he soon realized that Arcelia wasn't going to and had to start walking after her. She scrambled about and Sam watched her go, silent but nearby. She'd have to calm down on her own. He was keeping track of where she went, even though it was fairly clear that she had other ideas. It was when he rounded a corner that he was just in time to see one of the doors along the hallway close. Sam paused. The room was dangerous. He frowned just a little and then hurried forward, after Arcelia. His hand closed around the door handle and he breathed out. Then he pushed the door open, feeling alone, and then stepping into the contents on the other side ... ( o.o Oooo! What room, if any, did you have in mind?)

Ougi - living room - vincent and the doctor
Her feet were already starting toward the door when Ougi stopped at Vincent’s words. “Of course I did. In my own world,” she informed him. She slowly brought herself to pace toward the hallway again. Thoughts about her powers swirled around in her head, but her exterior was her usual self. There was a good chance her abilities would be erratic, after what happened in the lodge. No more needed to be said to convince them to follow her. She simply assumed they would, regardless of the answer she gave. She put her hand—or rather her floppy sleeve with her hand at its core—on the door handle and swung it open.

|Gin | Living room | Razzle Dazzle Lark |A man, probably in his late twenties to early thirties, blinked into the living room, sound asleep, sprawled on the couch and snoring. He was drooling slightly. A few seconds after the blink, apparently roused by the change in where he was sleeping, the man snorted loudly and grabbed at the air, trying to find the blanket he’d passed out under to pull it back over him. Instead, he rolled off the couch and hit the floor with a dull thud. “Rent’s not due till next week!” he shouted, sitting bolt upright and staring around with wide eyes as if he was attempting to fend someone off. Then he froze, blinking sleepily, and slowly began to register his surroundings. Huh? Where am I? What’s going on…?Oh dear. Where the hell had he passed out last night?

Czes - living room
Czeslaw blinked into the living room right next to the man who had appeared before him. For most, it would be helpful to appear next to someone, to immediately strike up conversation or at least have an excuse to interact. But for Czes, just finding out that someone was near him made him turn tail and run on instinct. Stopping by one arm of the couch, he used the distance to evaluate this other blinker and realize they were probably no threat. "...Who are you?" he questioned still. His cap was on his head, shadowing his big eyes, and he wore his usual brown jacket. He was relatively well dressed, as he happened to be going out on the town before the Paradox House dragged him in here.

Gin | Living room | Razzle Dazzle lark | As Czes spoke up, two things occurred to the silver haired man. One: someone was next to him. Two: someone had not been next to him a second ago. Slowly, the man turned his head towards Czes, squinting with sleep-reddened eyes at the oddly well dressed boy who had apparently appeared out of nowhere right next to him. That was normal. Think fast!“Er...I’m Gin,” he said, deciding not to reveal, for the moment, that he had no idea where he was. Maybe, just maybe, he wasn’t supposed to be here, so playing it safe seemed like a safe bet. He reached up, scratching his head, and continued to stare up at the boy with half-lidded eyes. “Who are you?”
