In TNP, do any of you guys think that Tawnypelt got the least amount of character development, at least compared the other cats who went on the journey to find Midnight?

Yeah. It seems like every other character in that arc had an important role except for her.
Bramblestar was the main character, and leader of the journey. He then had that whole plot with Squirrelflight and Hawkfrost, and ended up being the one to kill Hawkfrost. Squirrelflight was a main character, went on the journey, found ThunderClan's camp, had the plot with Bramble/Hawk/Ash. Leafpool was a main character, had the plot with the Twolegs, and then the whole thing with Cinder and Crow. Stormfur had an entire book and then came back in the last book and had a small plot centering around him Feathertail had the plot with Crowfeather and ended up being the silver cat. Crowfeather had the plot with Feathertail and Leafpool.
Tawnypelt had no plot. All she did was go on the journey and get bit by a rat

i definitely think she's always been a bit shafted in the character development/screen time department to be honest. which is a shame because she's probably my favorite out of tigerclaw's kids, i've always felt really drawn to her character & wanted to know more about + see more of her than we got. in regards to the TNP series specifically though, i think twisterheart's post was a pretty spot on description.
if anything i kinda think that her no-nonsense or i guess straight man-ish role of the group might've left the erins a little up in the air about what to do with her because she wasn't easy to make drama/subplots around? i dunno though, that perception of her personality might be wrong because i'm a bit rusty on my warriors knowledge.

Actually, yeah. Sometimes I forgot she was even one of the cats on the journey tbh...
