I did quite few warriors fan art and never drew with stars on forehead but I'm guilty of adding them some hair lol.

Another trend I have seen is super boxy faces. Cats can be challenging when you're first learning to draw xD

I draw in both styles I do semi realism and non realistic kind of a manga-ish style which includes hair. I like the hair. I am just too used to stop drawing it. Without any tuft I feel like the head feels empty... In realism I never include hair like that as it's supposed to be realistic.  Unless I want to combine stuff together. As I am not good at drawing real hair I never do add it. One of examples of my semi realism is the picture on my avatar at the moment. ; |

I don't mind the star on the forehead. I like seeing a star somewhere on the leader's body, it became sort of a headcanon for me.
I like manga style and I think it's cute if the cats are drawn with tufts of hair, but I hate it when they are drawn with emo hair with like a bang covering half their face...
I also enjoy when they are drawn with really intense emotions, and I don't mind when the characters cry, but then the realistic side of me is like...cats don't do that. It's not a peeve, but rather just a thought that pops into my head whenever I see it.

When people draw Tigerstar basically as big as any other cat, especially Scourge.
Correct me if I'm wrong, but I'm pretty sure he was supposed to be this big looming cat that towered over everybody
a large majority of the time. It's a big chunk of the reason as to why nobody messed with him.
Or when people draw Brokenstar with an individual scratch over each eye.
That bugs me way more than it probably should, honestly.

People who draw Scourge as an average-sized cat. It's not too big a a pet peeve of mine, but he's really supposed to be smaller than the average cat.
Also, what Solarmyr said about Brokenstar's scars. Yellowfang blinded him with a single stroke, I think, so two scratches wouldn't make sense for him to have.
Personally, I think a star on a leader's forehead is cool, but as long as it kind of matches their fur color, like a darker version of the base. Not like a giant yellow star just stuck on there. It doesn't even have to be a typical 5-pointed star, either, maybe like a variation of a star shape.
I do add "hair" on my cats sometimes, but giant bangs that cover their eyes is a bit much.
Too many accessories on a cat at once. I love the drawings were they place blue jay feathers on Jayfeather's ear, or flowers on Spottedleaf, but it gets a little too much when there's stuff like an ear-full of piercings or something.

- When people draw Brightheart's missing eye as a huge pink blob
- When Bluestar is literally drawn a crazy shade of bright blue
- Not getting Crookedstar's jaw right (I can understand how this one is hard, but some people don't even draw the injury, so you can't even tell it's him, or when they put minimal effort into it)

a few things:
drawing crowfeather with yellow/orange eyes always bothers me because then he's pretty much Exactly identical to nightcloud unless the art style has a lot of variety between how the cats' bodies are drawn. really any cat who's design is only distinct by their eye color being drawn with the wrong eye color is confusing
only the bad guys allowed to have sharp teeth or catlike eyes while the good guys have flat teeth and human anime eyes?? Why Would You Do That. please let the cats be cats regardless of morality
cats with uncomfortably anime-human like faces?? its very uncanny to me. it's like little furry man-headed beasts and i hate it. just let the cats be cats in general

When people give EVERY cat long, big, emo-ish hair. I'm okay with it once in a while, but not every cat should have it. It especially annoys me when the eye, that is behind the hair, can be seen in front of the hair.
Also, when people give cats dog-like muzzles.

I have never drawn leaders with the star on their head... Yes that is a pet peeve of mine. I also hate it when people get the Clans of cats wrong (Though I'm guilty. when I first read, I completely ignored the fact that Oakheart is from RiverClan and kept writing everywhere that he's from WindClan...)
I don't mind tufty fur on cats heads, but not excessive hair. I don't like hair when it covers one of their eyes unless they are, like, a winged cat or something because that is totally different.
I hate it when people draw yellow tabbys a bright yellow THEY'RE NOT FLIPPING BANANAS THEY'RE A DULL YELLOW OKAY PEOPLE?
Also, when people draw a cat with such an unrealistic pose that it's obvious they haven't studied cat anatomy (alright I haven't either but I hide it well) and they do them looking too human or give them massive eyes or such.

I love Warriors art of all shapes and sizes and I am firmly in the 'Crowfeather has amber eyes' minority of artists, but does it bother anybody else that nobody seems to really understand that Bramblestar is quite literally Tigerstar 2.0? Like, stop using that sweeter, light brown. No, make that tabby boy DARK.
