Zenobia thought for a moment then turned fully towards Santiago. "I saw the commodore before I was brought here. Did he order your release from your cell as well?" She asked leaning forward in her chair. If he said yes then it meant two things. The Commodore would be coming to check on them again, and they people in the room weren't going to be executed. They were too valuable to be killed and the English needed them for something. which might be a lot worse.

Zeno slipped into spanish as well. She wasn't sure if the others around her were going to be as willing to attack the commodore as they were. They might even rat them out. So it was just a safety measure. "I'm the quietest of the group here so I'll hide behind the door and take him by surprise. You make sure that he doesn't get back up and chase us when we need to leave him" She said. Maybe she actually misjudged Santiago. Maybe they could work together after all. Well, they'll find out soon. Zeno looked down at her shackled wrists and grinned mischievously. "He might even have a key on him" she whispered to him in spanish.

Zeno leaned back in her own chair and looked at the others. She gave a thoughtful 'hmm' as she thought it over. "Well, It would look suspicious if 4 notorious pirates were just strolling through an English fort without a couple of guards with us or our hands and feet shackled. So I say leave them and keep this plan between ourselves. If they want to come up with their own then that's perfectly fine with me." She finished her eyes glinting with something dangerous behind them and her smirk crossing her face again. If this plan worked then she'd be back with her family on the sea in no time. "I misjudged you, Santiago. this could be a great friendship."

(Why do I feel like they're gonna try and backstab each other over and over again throughout this whole rp XD)

I was gonna let more people get here before we officially move on with the plot but we can totally have a false alarm with one of the guards coming to check on them)

Zenobia hmpfed with a small smile then turned so that her body was sideways in the chair. Her legs hanging over one of the arms while her back rested on the other. She couldn't help but think of the many times that her and Santiago met. None of them were pleasant memories. They were constantly fighting since the beginning. Trying to take over each others ships, brawling in the Taverns, and competing for a prize. She might have to be careful about this one. She probably couldn't really trust him.
After a few minutes, the sun had mostly gone down the light of the moon was shining into the room. The sound of footsteps and candle light approached the door. Zeno perked up and got to her feet. She nudged Santiago's shoulder as a warning to get ready as she positioned herself behind the door.

(Chill just wanted to make sure)

The door opened slowly. Cautiously. That should have been the first warning. When the person felt it was completely safe to come in, they entered with a candle on a tray of food. Zeno didn't see any of this. She only saw a person that she could take out. Holding the chain of her shackles in each hand she sprung forward and wrapped the chain around the person's neck. They gasped immediately and dropped the tray reaching instead for the chain to try and pry it from their neck. Before, Zeno could register that this wasn't their captor The person passed out and slumped into her arms. Looking at the woman's face Zeno just stared as her lips formed into a pout. "Well, this isn't right" She finally said.

Kali had stayed, characteristically, silent the whole time. She had watched Zeno nearly kill the person that was bringing them food. "That was extremely idiotic of you." She finally spoke after a while with a disproving shake of her head. "What exactly was your plan after you killed our captor, Hm? Stroll out of here like the whole English navy isn't going to turn you into a sea sponge the moment they see you?" She snorted and looked down with disdain at the poor woman that was passed out then to the food that had been spilled all over the disgusting floor. "Might as well kill her. Show these English dogs who they are messing with. And then you-" she looked at Zeno with anger. "- can eat all the filthy food on the floor that was meant for the rest of us." She moved to the chair that Zeno had vacated earlier, elegantly sitting down with her back straight and staring the other captain down.

(I like to think Kali has the personality of Symmetra from Overwatch. Really uptight and elegant type thing.)

Honestly, Santiago was surprised when Kali spoke, sliding out of his chair and bending down next to the woman, eyes studying her boredly. He did his best to repress his smirk at Kalis comment of eating the food off of the floor,his first thought was why that was such a bad thing. Of course, how he grew up and how she did were very different. She was a noble from India and he was an escaped slave from Egypt, so perhaps their standards were different. Once the candle was lit he was able to see better, and he began his search for something to pick the lock with, humming as he did so. He managed to snap a thin piece of metal off of the servants dress before leaning back and sitting on the floor, one leg pulled up the other sprawled in a lazy fashion as he fiddled with the lock.

"And you would rather have her start screaming for help the moment she wakes up?" Kali raised an eyebrow. "Any dead English person is a good dead English person." She glanced down at the woman with disdain, having half a mind to kill her now herself. But she felt that since Zeno and Santiago had gotten the woman trapped in here then it was their responsibility to deal with the situation. She crossed a leg over one of her knees and crossed her arms over her chest, sliding her gaze to Zeno and Santiago with narrowed eyes.

Zenobia didn't bother in trying to hide the snort of laughter nor the smirk that crossed her face as the Egyptian defiantly bit into the bread that had fallen on the floor. It gave her spirits a much-needed lift. Popping the piece of bread into her mouth she began to chew as Santiago worked on her shackles. The bread was tough and dry. No real flavor to it, just bland day old bread. But she had to admit that it was better than nothing. Bread would keep her stomach full.
The chains around her wrist finally fell to the floor in a loud clank of metal. With a satisfied sigh, Zenobia rubbed her wrists and grinned at Santiago. "Much obliged," She said before leaning over and giving his temple a quick kiss as thank you. As she stood, Zeno turned to look at the window. There would be no escaping that way. Too high to jump into the water below, not that they would make it. The rocks were too close together to allow anyone jumping to make it in between them. So the door was their only exit. Walking towards the door with the intent of getting it open somehow she didn't hear the click of the lock. Not until the door was suddenly swinging towards her face at an alarming speed. It struck her on the nose, lip, and forehead causing her to Gasp in shock then back away with a groan of pain. Her hands had shot up to her face and she doubled over a little bit before glaring up at the person who had opened the door.
"I see you've all made yourself acquainted." A man's voice said. Of course, it was their lord and captor Commodore Fletcher. He finally showed up. And as always he looked disinterested and unhappy. "Take a chair please." He commanded looking at both Zenobia and Santiago. He figured there was no need to command the other two as they were already sitting.

20 ~ Female ~ Ferret is originally from Scotland, so she has a heavy Scottish accent which at times makes her difficult to understand, but she has British, German, Irish and American heritage, her mother was Russian and her father was Finnish. ~ She hasn't captained a ship and doesn't exactly want to, she prefers her position as first mate of The Tempest, although the position can get confusing at times.
Description~ Long, fawn colored hair tumbles down her back in light waves, reaching all the way past her hips, and her fringe usually hangs over her face with her eyes glaring out at the world. Now, her eyes may seem blue, but really they’re a strange mixture of colors. Dark teal mixed with ocean blue surrounds her pupil, ombreing to a the shade of the sky, which then darkens to an electric, midnight blue around the edges. Her eyes never stay the same, though, but always stay in the blue color chart, occasionally varying to greenish or purplish shades. Ferret is EXTREMELY tiny, standing at only 4'9", but if anyone looks down on her or teases her for this, she will fight them and most likely win. A gold hoop earring sits in her right ear, and she wears black leather fingerless gloves to match her belt and boots. She usually wears a plain cream buccaneer shirt, which usually women would couple with a corset, but she prefers not to, and just wears a thin leather vest over top. She tucks the bottom of her brown trousers into her boots and her shirt hangs loosely over the top, covering her belt, which makes it easy to conceal weapons. She likes to wear a shark tooth necklace, ivy made of copper wire tangling around the tooth, and it hangs on a piece of balck string over her chest. When she's bored, nervous or absent-mindedly doing something, she fiddles with the tooth, and once she actually cut herself on the sharp edge after getting a fright when she was drifting off.
Personality~ Ironically enough, Ferret used to have extreme Aquaphobia and Thalassiphobia, but if you happen to mention her old fears, or tease her about them, you will get sharp words and a fist in your face, or will find yourself in pieces, scattered over the ground. Despite being younger than most of the pirates and the English, she's just as fierce, feisty and battle worthy as the next man, or woman, for that matter. Ferret is inclined to be stubborn, sarcastic and lash out at people, but she enjoys a good laugh and taking risks and putting herself in danger gives her a thrill. She’s rude and snappy, and will stand up to anyone, no matter how much power they may hold over her. Some people say she has a demon hidden inside her, ready to leap out at any moment, and people are very careful to hold their tongue around her and not to get on her bad side. She’s unafraid of people, and will actually hurt you if you annoy her, you can mess with her all you want and only get punched a few times, but mess with those she cares for and her inner demon will be released. Ferret, like her both her nicknames suggest, is mischievous, crazy, a daredevil, cheeky and always up for a challenge. She loves to cause confusion, as it entertains her, but underneath her mental, hard personality she has a soft heart full of love and affection, and is extremely loyal and a valuable ally.

Ferret carries an old-fashioned pistol in her belt at the back, hidden by her long shirt, along with two identical hunting knives in leather sheaths. Her favourite weapon by far is the intracitely designed sabre, given to her by her grandfather after he served in the navy on her sixteenth birthday. Cats, vines and snakes are carved into the blade, so (and yes, this is very violent) they are highlighted with blood when she uses the sabre to harm someone.~
Ferret is extremely agile and flexible, almost like a snake. She uses ths to her advantage when she wants to steal from someone, and she works well in incredibly confusing situations, giving her the name Chaos.~
Relationships~ Ferret is an only child, although her father had married before and had two daughters, who were about ten years older than her. She has no idea where her family is now, although she knows her grandfather (the one who gave her the sabre) lives in Dublin.
Other~ Surprisingly enough (Not really) Ferret has a pet ferret, a light, creamy yellow with a black overcoat, tail, paws, mask, ears and a pink nose, called Trelós, the Greek translation of crazy. Hurt her pet and you die, literally.
History~ Ferret has never really cared for her history, she was just a normal child, until she began stealing. More and more she stole until she helped pull off one of the largest robberies in history, and was taken in by a mentor. The two were discovered and her mentor was killed, so she turned away from her past and joined the crew of the Tempest.

I wasn't entirely sure what clothes to give her, so if I should change them tell me what you'd prefer.)

(Also, I'm thinking about swapping out characters to even out the gender ratio a bit and I also just thought of a cool character for this rp. So unless anyone is particularly attached to Kat (who you haven't even met yet, haha) I'm probably going to do that. This guy is nowhere near as developed as her, but It could be fun.)

"He's kind of cute, in the sort of a puppy kind of way," Santiago commented to Zeno under his breath, looking rather amused as he looked at each of them with little interest. It was clear that he was just as happy about being here than they were, Santiago halfway tempted to make him even more uncomfortable, flirt with him a little just to do so, but refrained for now, instead opting to study him.
"What would the great British Empire need with a group of criminals?" Santiago asked, voice dripping with sarcasm as he did so, looking him up and down, body tense and ready for a fight.
