In 2010, I'd draw something pretty much every day. And I improved so much... In a little over a year, I went from this: to this: Every year after that, I drew less and less... I did manage to improve between 2011 and 2013, but after that I just... stagnated. Like, here's something I drew in 2012: versus something I drew last year: Really the only thing that changed was my line thickness? I drew about a dozen pictures last year, and this year, I've only done three or four. I don't know why I pretty much gave up on art. I guess it was because I never developed my own style, and I thought I'd never get where I wanted to be. But like... I pretty much prevented my chance of that ever happening? If I was able to improve so much in one year, just think of where I'd be now if I'd continued to draw every day. I've been doing a bit of drawing lately, though. I'm helping my sister make a fan comic. Unfortunately, I'm awful at the two styles she's having me do, and the characters are humanoid (I've always been terrible at drawing people). Oh well, it's not like she'd be able to get a better artist for free. I'm not sure if I'll ever fully get back into drawing, but it's nice to be doing it again.

That's some awesome improvement from the first pic to the others! And it is tough going through stages like that. Good luck with future art though. c:

Thanks!
I'm adding the finishing touches to the picture I'm working on now... for some reason the stabilizer isn't working properly, so the highlights look really gross.

Speaking of arrows to the knee, I'm still sort of proud of the profile I drew of my Skyrim character back in 2012... it was my first attempt at digital realism. My most recent attempt (from this March) was this: I never finished it because I'm laaaazy.
