They sure are! I don't think the main plot actually kicks in until around chapter 19 (and you can blame my non-existent planning for that) but meanwhile, enjoy these apprentices being apprentices.
Anyways today I proofread chapter 12 and prepared to post it before remembering that I didn't do chapter 11... soo chapter 11 is up! Not a lot happens here, I'm afraid.

So I had a concert on Monday, was going to update on Tuesday but completely forgot and only remembered today because I feel terrible~
Anyways here's chapter 13. If I was, y'know, good at this, I would have combined this one and chapter 14 into one chapter because nothing happens here and I had zero reason to actually make this Heatherstar's POV. I mean, no reason at all. It could just as easily been Hazelpaw, whose POV it is next chapter. You'll get it tomorrow in case anybody really, really cares about what exactly is going to happen.

Do you enjoy:
- People feeling emotions it makes no sense for them to be feeling?
- Plot that doesn't really go anywhere?
- A child making an emotional speech?
- A lack of understanding about cat biology?
- The equivalent of a tween with no battle experience fighting off the equivalent of a fully grown adult?

In this latest chapter of Deep Blue Eyes, the plot progresses no further! Instead I just sort of go off on a tangent and create a romance that is quite creepy in hindsight! Once more I must ask my twelve-year-old self what the heck she was thinking. Look at Silverstripe and his weird moral compass, watch cats yell exposition randomly into the air, see cats make very weird choices that make absolutely zero sense, as time passes strangely and you think to yourself "okay, we're on chapter 15, there are 43 chapters, we're about just over a third of the way done, just need to endure this three more times..."
... so chapter 15 is up. I regret posting this because my pi ranking is gone now. Farewell

Alright, the next chapter is up. I am somehow managing to keep a somewhat consistent schedule? There's more stuff that happens here that should have some explanation that I never do end up explaining! ... or at least some of it.
