Even though Crowfeather did care about his son, he wasn't good at showing it. He said so in the last hope, and if you remember when Lionpaw and Breezepaw fell into the sinking dirt, Crowfeather started digging as hard as he could to save Breezepaw.

This is really neat!
Honestly so many people portray Breezepelt as either a villain or a victim, but here he seems to be neither, just a cat with reason to become better.
You've made me look in a different perspective, good work!
