I don't click any of the ads listed on the forums, but there's these really persistent ads that pop up and force me off the site, leading me to something go.ad or something similar. It's usually insurance or some other thing advertised, and it says 'site resumes in ...' and it counts down from 10 seconds. Then it blanks the page. There's a "go to site" link, but its for the ad's website. It just radiates 'virus' and it makes me very paranoid. I have to reset my web browser whenever it pops up, because when i hit the back button to get back to the forums, it pops right back up. I have no issue with this site having ads, and I'm glad that they support the site, but pleaaaaase please consider removing this ad in particular. I know I can't be the only one it's affecting. I understand if removing it can't be done, but I feel better bringing it up.

its been said a million times....nobody here can fix this issue. report it to proboards next time it pops up and they'll take care of it.

I have Avast and the Malwarebytes that came with my Mac. Forgive me, I'm not exceptionally great with computers.

Avast is... and your malwarebytes, what version and is it premium? mbam doesnt do anything without user interaction in free version

Look, I posted this to make known to the people who might be able to do anything about it, and I only posted because I didn't see a thread bringing it up in the unresolved area, and because in the event that this something that's actually a malicious thing, I felt better speaking up about it. Please, stop asking my about my computer setup.
