Hope you figured it out! When things change like that it can take a bit to work out the kinks. I finally figured it out and updated cover for Book II as well. Using the same paintings as covers but made them cover the entire front instead of in a "box " surrounded by solid color. They do look better and today will try and upload Book II's cover and hope it goes easier this time.

Crossing my fingers for you!
What medium do you use for the covers?

Crossing my fingers for you! What medium do you use for the covers? Well it is a mix of things. For book 2 I used an acrylic painting for the cover and extended the top inside a image/paint program that is as old as the dinosaurs LOL. Microsoft Image composure I use for doing all my illustrations and covers and if I ever get a computer that it won't run on I will cry!. For Book 1, it was a collage of hand drawn characters in a backdrop created from photos of Mt Washington my hubby took many years ago winter camping. For Book III I used an acrylic painting for the background, with the hand drawn characters added then pieced it all together. The hand drawn characters are done with watercolor pencil. If I knew how to drop pix in here I'd share. But Book I and Book III are in a similar vein stylewise to my NEW BLOOD stuff. Maybe I'll upload to Imgur so I can share.

We have the old version on Image composer ( from 1995 or so LOL) and each computer we get we PRAY it loads LOL So far so good but I haven't been able to load it on my Surface Pro. No Disk driver. The new version of Image Composer is just not the same. So we hang onto that CD disk and so far, it works in Windows 10! But it does get silly and it thinks certain files or pix are too large to continue without saving. But its ok I can shrink images it can't handle. It is just awesome to keep sections separate so if a font needs changing or a title needs moving it can be done so easily and saved into a jpg. I do not know what I'd do without it! Probably have to do everything freehand and brush and find some other program to add the fonts for titles and such.

Hey, if you can't ever load it and need some help, I could totally teach you how to do it in another program. ^^ But you sound like you have it covered and it is beautiful art! So I hope it continues to work!

I'm running a contest on my Facebook page (link in my profile) for paperback copies of these books because the Proofs have tiny flaws. So just going to give them away. I also will have a giveaway for the hardcover proofs too :-)

Hum. We couldn't find it when we looked. Dang I should have added that it was on my author page connected to my acct called Furlitian Tales and Other Stories, tho the one by that name in my profile goes to my website. and not FB. I may have another set available depending on how the cover proofs go because I may give away the old ones! And I just checked my profile and for some reason the link doesn't work! Next time I will post it here and maybe it will work. Just for an experiment here is the link to my author page on FB! www.facebook.com/Furlitian-Tales-Other-Stories-258778057484770/ Let me know if this works

Awesome! Sounds good to me. C ool. I've been working on Book III of this series to get it done! Its been going on too long so I decided to devote a lot of time to it. When I did up the cover it really helped move the muse. And now that the Broken Code arc has begun I am eager to read it so I can finish RISING STARS.
I think the rogue Darktail is coming in from the Dark Forest and he's the one talking to Shadowpaw. And I'd doubt just ice would keep StarClan away and un the NEW BLOOD world it sure wouldn't LOL. Not with Gentleoak's quiet determination and huge paws. He'd break the ice. But I have to wait a while before my suspicions are confirmed. But I'd bet the farm that the voice Shadowpaw hears at the Moonpool telling him about codebreakers is Darktail. . . and if it is so, oh I will have fun with that in Rising Stars. In New Blood he'd be coming for revenge on having his plans all spoiled by Phantomstrike and his family. Amazingly I finally got the answer about Bramblestar that in this arc he suffers his21st loss of a life. But for this reason Rising Stars will be in a holding pattern until this arc is near done. So much has altered in the NEW BLOOD Universe that I don't have to follow everything that occurs esp the stuff based on the Kin's take over of ShadowClan which in NEW BLOOD never happens . but i need those points in time that do not change. but in NEW BLOOD Tigerheart and Dovewing never leave, so Shadowpaw would have been born in the Clans. Rowanstar loses his last life as a warrior should. Oh boy. . .oh well good for an old geezer like me to have puzzles to figure out in my writing. Exercises the grey matter.

Yep! I've been doing some research and apparently I am currently writing a lot in dead genres that really wouldn't get traditionally published because there's no market. I wanna try aiming for traditional publishing once I get things polished enough, but I'm probably going to have to place a lot of the stories I'm currently writing on a back-burner for a stretch. ^^ But that aside, I have a lot of stories to tell and I'm looking forward to seeing how they go.
