Naming her something different. But I've also been thinking about taking a couple out of other authors around here. And I was thinking of making him long furred anyway, but ... A character in Sky of Shattered Stars is probably going to end up as a Maine Coon, I think I think I think. |

My Grandniece's birthday is next week and she'll be two! Seems like just yesterday she was a little baby!
Big goofy Maine Coon Darwin is four now-holy smokes.
But when I sit and really think an about it all, when I started NEW BLOOD, and when this forum started in 2016-it seems like a long time ago! And at the same time, seems like it all just started. I think that is the worst thing about aging-time seems to go by faster, and faster. . .. |

On the bright side, even though the years seem to pass quickly, you are still creating wonderful memories - which can seem like they were created yesterday, so they can feel a lot sweeter.

That's awesome. As for the fic lasting, I printed it (or the older version, I'll reprint it someday) and I made a homemade sort of book of it. So it'll hang around in my collection as well. <3

I'd honestly love that. You've done such an amazing job! It really feels like you stayed true to the characters but created a wonderful world of your own!

They're all doing well, even 11 year old Orion. Darwin is doing great after recovering from his blockage in Nov. Just keeping the fingers crossed that it stays that way for a long time!
