As we all know, Willowbreeze and Graypool lost several kits not long after they were born, with Willowbreeze dying alongside hers. What if the deaths were punishment for Fallowtailโs mistake? They are after all products of a forbidden relationship and StarClan always seems to punish the kits more than the parents.
Thoughts?

As in an actual punishment from StarClan? I'm sure not even StarClan is that cruel, and even then they don't seem to have the power as to actually take lives anyway, only guide them. If anything, it seems more like a tragic coincidence.

Splashkit and Morningkit were said to be born sickly while Willowkit and Minnowkit caught greencough and Silverstream died while giving birth, but again, I don't think the afterlife has that much power, even Mapleshade. If that were the case, then I'm pretty sure the Dark Forest would've had a much easier time in beating the Clans. Like Brambleberry said, sometimes bad things just happen for no reason.
