Not really lol and the only other option I can think of would for them to just run into each other which is kinda anticlimactic) Masaki smiled "That sounds like fun. Is it fast?" He asked "We don't have any transportation other than boats and horses" "Pretty fast," answered Kid. "If I time it right and it has the right wind speed and direction, then I can move faster than a car. Hum... so way faster than a horse or boat." He didn't think Masaki had cars in his world, thanks to what he had said. (So, I'll just have Kid turn a corner and run right into someone. XD ) |

Not the most durable, though," Kazuya said, squinting at the sky. Was that a shadow or just a cloud? "Nearly there!" Huoniao called, gliding downward as some buildings came into view. |

"You sound like a deranged cult leader." Munei states. "What kind of man are you? Even if you are a man, that is." "Silence, tainted one. Your past makes your blood unwanted. Therefore, you must be cleaned of the past." The cloaked man pointed to a building. "Let us head there. I shall give you answers." Zen and Rei looked at each other, then started to follow. There wasn't much else they could do. What the man said about the "past" stood out to Zen. What exactly did it mean? |

As they walked, Nagei noticed how take the beast were around this man. Something didn't sit right with her about this man. Munei grunted as they walked to the building. It gave off a dark vibe to Takumi. Something defiantly wasn't right.
"Enter, those of tainted blood." The cloaked man says. "That is all of you. Now enter."
"If we enter, will you give us what we are looking for?" Nagei asks, curious.
"Yes." The man says. "You'll get your answers."

Zen stepped inside, looking around the room. Something was certainly off. Whatever would happen, he was ready to take it on. At least we get to keep our weapons.
Rei hesitated for a moment, but soon followed.

Nagei's blood went cold. There was an eerie presence lingering in the room. The cloaked man closed the door as they all take a seat in the chairs that were in the room.
"Now, to cleanse your blood and body, you must use this." The cloaked man says, handing a rusty dagger to Nagei. "Drain the tainted blood from yourself."
"Now, your talking crazy!" Takumi yells. "Tell us why we are here or I swear to the gods!"
Munei grunts, looking at the cloaked man. It was obvious that he was crazy. Why was he wanting something like this? It was crazy, insane, even.

"Drain... the blood?" Rei shrunk back into her chair, as if to distance herself from the man and his dagger. "Um, Zen? Can we go now?"
Part of Zen wanted to just bolt out of here, but he knew there was something more to this. It was some kind of ritual. But for what?

The shadow grew in size, until brown feathers were visable. The huge hawk screeched and dove down, talons spread out.
"What's tha-" Kazuya was cut off as the beast swooped down, nearly hitting him. He stumbled back and held out his arm. "Come here, Huoniao!"

Niles drawer his bow, ready to shoot. Munei was ready to shoot as well as Takumi stayed quite. Nagei ran a finger on the rusty blade, being very careful.
"Why?" Nagei asked, feeling that there was more to this.
"To appease them." The cloaked man says. "Do it, young crow child."

Appease what? The gods? Zen slowly raised a crossbow, waiting for something to happen. If things went wrong, the hooded man would have an arrow in his back within seconds.

Niles drawed back on his bow. Takumi grabbed aholf of Fujin Yumi and readied it. Munei also readied himself to fire.

Zen took aim and paused, one finger on the trigger. This was going too far. Answers would be helpful, but it was too risky to continue. He began to pull the trigger, but his pause had given enough time for the man to finish what they were doing.

Zen stopped, slowly lowering the crossbow. So much for weapons being useful. As much as he hated to admit it, they were stuck with doing this.

Jin Mori sighed "It's big, ill give it that but it aint nothing like Garuda" he said as he scratched the back of his head before letting go of his pole which stood up by itself "Expand Yeoui" he said as the pole started to expand in every direction so that it was large enough to match the Empire State Building in length and twice its width "Now lets play some baseball" he joked

Huoniao landed on Kazuya's arm... and nearly fell off upon seeing the staff's full size. "Wha- How-"
Kazuya was speechless as well. No wonder I couldn't lift it... He shook his head. "Um, Huoniao, just... help him out."
"Very well. Maragidyne!" The bird spread its wings and sent out a large blast of fire, which managed to scorch some of the hawk's feathers. It screeched and flew to the side... and towards Jin Mori.

The cloaked man disappears into the darkness, leaving them alone and locked in. Munei tried to open the door, then kicked at it.
"Locked. We are stuck here until Nagei 'cleanses herself'. And me as well." Munei grunts.
"I don't see cleansing, I see a madman." Takumi notes.

Huoniao got blown a few feet away by the wind. Kazuya stumbled back at the sudden gust. How powerful was this god? At least he's on our side...
The hawk sqwacked as the pillar smacked into it. It flailed wildly as it fell down towards the earth.

Nagei touched the blade again. So a cut, but not a big cut. She gently puts the blade to her wrist.
