(The cloaked man is linked to how all these characters got here. He claims to be one of the 'found' and says that those who know nothing about this world are of the 'lost'. He talks about a fee and the beast that roam this world do not harm him.)

When the bird came around Mori almost fell down out of shock "What is that and how can it talk?" He asked "No, I can only absorb the Bel demons. And to address the elephant in the room..." Kazuya looked down at the bird, watching it warily. "This is a demon. I'm not sure why it's calling me- oh, right." The King of Bel is the king of demons. No wonder I'm its "lord.""That is correct. I am the Avian Huoniao. A pleasure to meet you." Huoniao bowed to Jin Mori before turning to face Kazuya. "As I was saying, this place is dangerous. There are dreadful beasts... I was nearly destroyed by one myself!" |

He asks. "Then who are you?" "I am of the found. One of the many who know the secrets of this world." The man says. "I will help you to be found." "Help us be found?" Niles asks. "How do you do that?" "Stop asking questions and let's get onto the point!" Munei growls. "Yeah! You're not making much sense!" Rei added, seeming a bit annoyed. Zen nodded in agreement, glaring at the strange man. |

Jin Mori still looked both shocked and confused "Why is there a demon dove that can talk though. I thought those were supposed to be thought of as heaven's birds" He said. At the mention of the beasts Jin Mori's face lit up "Can you show me where? I can rake care of them if you want" he said

Huoniao ruffled its feathers. "We demons can talk, you know! And there is no way I would be a servant of heaven like those angels," it said, with a bitter tone in the final word. It sighed and calmed itself down. "The beast that was chasing me fled after a Maragidyne, but we may encounter one soon..."
"Hey, Huoniao? Is there a town nearby, or something like that?" Kazuya asked. The demon nodded.
"Of course! I can lead you, but we must be alert."

"If you say so. Follow me!" Huoniao took to the skies with ease, despite its large lantern. Kazuya followed it at a light jog, looking up at the sky. Whatever had attacked the demon had probably been a bird... and why didn't Huoniao say "demon" instead of "beast"?

(Sorry that it's not much to work off of...my muse... -.- ) "What's that?" Masaki asked since he had also never seen a hang glider in his life "Is it some form of transportation?" (it's fine I was way too tired last night that was why my post was short) Kid really didn't feel like activating his glider here was really safe. It was to close to the others. So instead he just explained it. "It's, in the case of mine, strong cloth stretched over a metal frame. When launched from a height it allows me to glide, uh, kind of like flying really. I use it over long distances." (Sorry for really, really large poof. I've been madly busy. Any idea on how we can run into Pyruss' group?) |
