Report and use whatever ad blocking you can.

Report and use whatever ad blocking you can. I tried this morning, when another ad tried to redirect me, but the ad did not show up in the form and I forgot to h copy the url.

if you got an ad blocker and are still getting ads, you may have adware. What antivirus do you have if you don't mind me asking?

Never heard of either. Nt sure I'd change anything at present since McAffie is working fine of us for the most part.

What adblocker do you have? Sorry for me forgetting to ask, I know some that don't work and some just switch the ads and some are just fakes.

reading the Wikipedia page, waterfox seems to be a modified version of Firefox. If you look below where you close your tabs is there a button with three lines? If you press it does it bring up a window with a few buttons on it, one being add-ons?

You should use firefox instead, very little extensions are supported for waterfox

You should use firefox instead, very little extensions are supported for waterfox Actually that is inaccurate. I have been using Waterfox for years now and have had very little trouble in that respect. It supports Flash, Java. and most other plug ins I have not had any issue with it in that sense. I have both and they run nearly identical-to the point that if you don't look you are often not sure which one you are on. The invading ads have not been repetitive and will go away if I back arrow out of them. But I would like to report them on the spot when they happen since the report thing shows nothing-no urls etc- when I go to the link. There should be a way to click on a button or link right there on the spot when an ad shows up.

if they happen constantly try seeing if uBlock Origin is supported (afaik it isnt but.) also, flash/java online is a MAJOR security risk, you should disable them.

Fortunately I haven't seen another ad in days. As far as Flash and Java are concerned the games I play and other sites I use run on them. Without Java or Flash Player I could not use them. If I see the ads again I will look up uBlock Origin. My pop up blocker is activated.

When and if I get another invasive ad, is there someplace on the page I can access this link without having to hunt on this thread for it?
