The Warrior Cat forums is no new news to me. Obviously, I jumped over from the official boards to this one, but I'm not new to anything including the forum site builder with which this forum was made. I was a part of the official WCF for 6 years. I took many hiatuses and returned randomly, then would disappear again unexpectedly. It wasn't always like that though, before the WCF got a makeover I was highly active on it for a good while, chatting and roleplaying with me close-nit group of friends. It wasn't until the forums changed that I started taking loooong breaks from them, I didn't like the look nor the layout and how things worked.
Let me give ya some tidbits of my times on the WCF:
1) I originally joined as Iceshadow, since that was the name Starclan had given me.
2) I changed my name to Starlight (Starlight97 since it was a name already in use). This change happened I think a few weeks after I joined in 2010.
3) There's a reason behind why I had changed my name. I had my first OC made up and her story was that she was a StarClan cat sent by the Ancestors to guide the four Clans to prosperity, and she had seen the future and what was in waking for the Clans, including Tigerstar's plan's to take over the forest and what he had done prior. She was white, striking ice blue eyes, and bore many scars on her body from when she was alive. She was born a ThunderClan cat, but died at the claws of a WindClan cat (which that cat later realized his mistake and pleaded forgiveness- and it was received with one condition). Back then I wanted to use my OC's name as my own.
4) I didn't join too many RPs, my main one was one I had made and that was a Code Lyoko based RP. That's actually how I met my good forum friends that I still know (and as far as I know have already joined here).
5) My first RP that I had every joined when I first came to the WCF was a dragon RP, and I had three characters in it, all of which I remember the names of; Shasta (an all white dragon with white fur down her spine from her nose to her tail tip, which had a big tuft of fur), Shuriken (A black and grey dragon with sharp metal spikes and a giant shuriken (commenly known as a ninja throwing star) on his tail tip and shiny black horns), and Simba (just as his name sounds, a golden dragon with fur instead of scales who looked half lion). My two main characters which were Shasta and Shuriken had offspring together, but I believe the RP began to die out at that point so I don't remember what they looked like or what their names were.
6) I have been a part of a few clan RPs, all of which made by my friend Northstar3213 that I met in the dragon RP my first year on the WCF (she had joined a month before me actually). Those were fun times.
7) Here I am now, joined as Starlight but have changed my name to Winterbreeze, a new name I thought of between the years of back then and now, but you can call me Star or Shazzy, what have you.
Other things about me that should probably be known:
1) I am an introvert normally, I get a bit uncomfortable around new people and public places, but those that know me would probably say otherwise.
2) I have bad anxiety and social anxiety, sometimes posting things such as this stresses me out because I fear judgement and looking stupid (among many other things I fear and worry about which are not necessary to mention). Making replies to things, or posting topics, sometimes worries me on the matter of will I sound stupid or will I be dubbed as that one weird person people don't like, even though that's not how it looks to others. I'll post replies to my RPs, if I take too long try not to get impatient with me, I've built up my literacy skills through the 6 years of RPing I've done, but just remember it could also be due to my anxiety.
3) Also because of my anxiety its hard for me to come out about myself, and this intro here alone has me going. I'm going to warn you not to say "it's all in your head", because to someone who suffers from anxiety, depression, or anything of the like that is the most fox dung thing you can say, it's very belittling and not appreciated.
4) I'm loyal to my close friends, so if you become a close friend of mine just know you can come to me about anything, I'm a listener and always have an open ear to someone that needs one.
5) Of course I do enjoy RP, and my favorite topics to do are dragons, clans, wolves (includes Wolf's Rain and werewolves), Naruto, shapeshifters, and anthropomorphics (or more commonly known to the majority of the public as Furries- NOT THE SEXUALIZED KIND!). I also am a gamer and love the Spyro trilogy, Need4Speed, and a few others.
6) Yes, I am a furry and one day hope to own a fursuit and attend a con. No, I am NOT a part of the minority that sexualize furries, in fact I look down upon it but to each their own. Please don't judge, I know furries are highly judged due to the stereotypes that surround the community and what it's about but I can tell you right now that those stereotypes are not true, we're really quite nice and friendly people and accept everyone for who they are.
7) I have a wolf OC/fursona named Shasta (nicknamed Shay) who was inspired by Starlight's appearance (white fur, blue eyes, scars) and I often like to RP with this character.
8) I like to do art. Sometimes I'll use it to vent, most other times it's a hobby.
At first I didn't want to move to any of the fan-made forums that appeared shortly after the announcement of the WCF shutting down for good, I thought my time was done, and quite honestly I've lost a little bit of my interest for Warriors (I plan to reread the books though, starting from the very first and hopefully all the way up to the last, I had to stop in the middle of "Power of Three: The Sight" due to school projects), but my friends came here, and I do love how this forum looks accurately close to how the WCF used to look when I first joined it, so here I am. I want to be more active on here, I'm going to try and make an effort, I'll most likely come on when I'm not busy, bored out of my mind and with nothing else to do. I will try to keep my RPs to a minimum and avoid joining more than at least 5, so I can keep up with them all (hopefully). Anyway, now you know a little about me, feel free to introduce yourselves.
