This is why I hate some artists. They use words/phrases like 'quick sketch' and 'sloppy' and 'bad' when describing art when the art piece in question turns out better than a lot of other people can do. I agree with Mark Crilley in that it oftentimes degrades other artists who may not be at the skill level you are at, making them feel like that they need to sketch like this, that the level they're at is despicable.

Sorry, got a little angry there. dang, hate is a strong word but artists have their own standards on what's good and what's bad when it comes to their own art like sure, you might find one of the drawings amazing, but they might think they could've done better, and there might be little mistakes that are obvious to them. in the end, i feel like the only person who has the right to judge is the artist themselves, and if they think it's "sloppy," so be it. and if the other artists feel like the level they're at is "despicable," i feel like that's their problem (for lack of better wording,) and they should know that everyone improves. anyway, that's my opinion

Sorry, got a little angry there. Do you mean to direct this towards OP or are you simply stating? Hate is a very strong word for something like this, don't overreach and be rude about it.
