Spottedkit purred and bounced on her paws. "I can't wait to be an apprentice!"
Sandyclaw nodded, and forced himself to calm down. What if I have feelings for Swanstar? Or Lunaflower? I just don't know. He shook the thoughts off and waited for Lunaflower to choose who to hunt with.
Maplefrost glared at the two toms. All the drama was pointless and kit-like. "Toms." She muttered, hoping only Lunaflower would hear her.

"I would love to be your mentor Spottedkit, If you would like I could speak with Swanstar on the matter and see if you can be my apprentice." He spoke carefully hopeful she would like him as her mentor, though he wouldn't always make training this fun and he would eventually have to be hard on her.

( Silverwind , sure!) Swanstar flicked her tail at Winterpaw, beckoning her to join the other apprentices. "What about you Winterpaw? What do you want your warrior name to be?" (I still need to know if Jaggedtooth will be Dewpaw's mentor) The apprentice tilted her head as she thought about the question. "I'm not sure." She meowed honestly. "I want something cool and exciting!" She meowed. (Yeah that is fine!) |

She gulped at the though of his fangs being near her throat, "You'll go for the part at my scruff right... not my throat..." She said still not fully trusting the tom, though she might never full put her life in his paws.
"Alright lets go see her then... Do you know if she's busy right now?" Lion claw asked looking over to where his leader was.

(Thank you! Let's just add him on the expedition due to Dewpaw being extremely shy... if that's okay Silverwind ) Swanstar tilted her head and hummed, "Well... what about Winterbreeze?" The names for the apprentices were something she always thought of, and Winterpaw wasn't very hard for her to decide. They had crossed their borders a while back, and had taken a longer route away from their border with RogueClan, until they eventually had to cross into their territory. There was an odd prickling sensation under her fur, and she knew it couldn't have been any of the RogueClan cats. She discreetly scented the air, not wanting to scare the apprentices. She glanced back at Dewpaw's mentor, "Fangshade," She said in a low voice, a warning in her tone, asking him to scent the air. Swanstar smelled the stench of carrion, which meant rats. |

(I learned ASL pretty quickly, I actually went to the mall as part of a assignment to talk around others in SL to possibly catch the attention of another who spoke it. I walked around and signed, "I like to eat children." A deaf man walked up and started laughing so hard he was crying.)

Swanstar looked at all of the apprentices gathered around her, "Why don't you go hunt for a bit and rest, but go in groups." She ordered them, waiting for them to scamper off. "Fangshade, see if you can find where the scent is coming from. We might have to fight them."
Embersong slid her claws out at her leaders warning, smelling the scent of rats.

Zephyr nodded, "I will go for your scruff, it would be easier for me to chew rather than pull. I wouldn't want to end up hurting you like I got hurt when I removed mine. I didn't claw at it like I should have, I caught it on a strong twig and ended up choking myself."

"Ouch..." She winced for him then moved a little closer and laid down beside him, "You'll have to hurry, my Housefolk will be returning soon." She noticed it was almost dusk and they always returned around this time.

Zephyr nodded and stood up, "I'm going to break it now okay? Just tell me if it hurts." He reached a claw to the back of Dusty's collar and hooked it up under so he wouldn't be clawing towards her skin. He started scratching at it to see if he could break it quickly, before he sighed and very gently bent his head and bit at her collar, being very careful to not bite her. It broke under his sharp fangs and he pulled it away from her neck with a jingle of the bell before he dropped it next to her. "If you'd like, you can bury it, or just throw it back over the wooden border."

She winced but refused to say it made her uncomfortable, who wouldn't be? A massive scared up tom with long fangs was close to her neck, but once it was over she was smiling and shaking out her fur that had been pressed down from moons of wearing the stupid collar. "Just like that... Im not a house cat." She gripped the collar and threw it over the fence waiting for the bell hitting the concrete patio. She jumped in the air excitedly hopping around the tom.

"We should leave, and find a place to nest for the night. Training begins tomorrow." He murmured, gesturing with his tail before bounding away. "Part of it means keeping up with me as we go!" He shouted over his shoulder.
