Sandyclaw's eyes widened and his mouth gaped open in shock. "Y-you can't know that for sure." He stammered, his ears burning with embarrassment. I need to keep my composure and be forceful. Sandyclaw reminded himself as he pinned his ears back. "Lunaflower is my clanmate and I can hunt with her if that's what she wants. Am I not allowed to talk to my clanmates now?" He tried to hold back a growl but it slipped into his tone. You can't show him you're angry of flustered! Stay strong! The deputy smoothed his rising fur and let his ears go back to their usual stance. "It is not up to you to decide my future, Swiftcloud." Sandyclaw let a warning slip into his meow. "It is not up to you to choose who I talk with and who I choose, if anyone, as my mate. Lunaflower can decide who she wants to hunt with." He finished, forcing his tail to stay still.
Spottedkit nodded enthusiastically, making sure her tail was right above the ground. Her tail wanted to wave to and fro but she forced it to stop. He won't want to train you if you're dumb! Spottedkit thought angrily to herself as she put one paw in front of the other. The little kit nearly tripped but she saved herself. Unfortunately her tail smacked against the ground loudly. "Whoops." She murmured, embarrassed.

Swiftcloud growled, "I know she can but I am also telling you to worry about your leader! She told you herself that you were all she had left, right?!" He was trying to get Sandyclaw to understand, for all of their lives, that Swanstar was in love with him. It wouldn't do to have a depressed leader. "I know for sure because she told me herself."

Sandyclaw was surprised but he tried to hide his feelings. Instead, he shook his head thoughtfully. "Of course I will worry about my leader. But my feelings do matter too."

Swiftcloud sighed, "It would break her.... I hope you know, she would be happy for you, but... she would slowly become something not herself, and she would go into battles willingly with the intention of losing her lives." He turned and padded over to Lunaflower. "I'm not saying your feelings don't matter, just... think about the consequences."
(I'm not sure if Swiftcloud and Lunaflower would get together or who Swanstar would be with if Sandyclaw chose Lunaflower XD)

Zephyr nodded at the she-cat, "So you prefer Dusty then? Alright, now my question, would you like me to train you to hunt and fight? You wouldn't have to be a rogue like me, you could become a part of the clan of cats." He paused, and then dipped his head to her, "I am Zephyr." Swanstar purred and slowed to walk with the apprentices, "Well, your warrior names depend on what I see in all of you. I have ideas for all of you, especially Palepaw, because she has shown me strength." She was considering to give Palepaw her warrior name of Palefeather, as the she-cat reminded her of herself when she was an apprentice. Pinepaw was more difficult, though, she could see fierce loyalty and protectiveness in the tom, so she considered Pineheart or Pinewater. (I actually had already thought of Pinewater for him XD) For Firepaw, she wanted to give him something that showed his courage, so she was torn between many names, Firestorm being one of them, and for Alderpaw, the shy tom had much potential, and she wanted him to see that, so the name she had thought of was Alderfang. Though, the tom had a point, and if he wanted to remember his parents, Alderfrost or Alderbrook. "Well, you have all given me much to think about. Dewpaw, why don't you come and join in the fun?" Dewpaw was very hard for her to choose a name for, as he was shyer than Alderpaw, though his ambitiousness intrigued her, she considered Dewflight for his warrior name. Swiftcloud looked into his deputy's eyes and growled, "At least Lunaflower has another option for someone to care for her, Swanstar does not. You don't even realize your treasured leader is in love with you, we can all see it. I've known Swanstar for almost as long as you have, and I can tell. She doesn't want to jeopardize your friendship, and she most certainly doesn't want to lose you." Dewpaw padded towards the back and wanted to join into the group of apprentices ahead of him. He wasn't sure if they would allow him to join in the conversation, when Swanstar asked him to, he padded faster and his fur grew hot. "W-w-well.... I-I would r-r-re-really like Dewnose, but I-I-I do-don't know..." (Due to photosynthesis not being here, I will take over Doestep and Dewpaw's RPing. They can still come back, but we need those two to further the plot, can anyone else take Doestep, as I have a lot of cats already, and I might bring more in anyways so we have more cats. Jaggedtooth will potentially be Dewpaw's mentor, I just need Silverwind to verify.) here it is |

Sandyclaw didn't respond and just turned his gaze to Lunaflower. Even if Swanstar loves me I can't be with her just to make her happy! This is the one thing that I am not good with... He shook his head and held back a sigh. How did he get into this mess?

"I figured they were from fights since you are a wild cat." She said jumping down beside him, though staying near the fence her bell jingled loudly making her wince a little. Her long legs made her taller then others her age, but she wasn't always the largest of her litter.

"Its okay, you're doing great for your first time. Now lets give you a target to practice on..."He said smiling before looking around the camp where he found a mouse size ball of moss and some black bird feathers. Jumping over he pushed the feathers into the ball and brought it back over to her, "This is your prey." He pushed it away with his tail so it was two fox lengths away. "Try and sneak up on it, if you need to spread out your legs so you're balanced properly." He said patiently, he loved teaching and this kit was eager to learn. In an apprentice that was fantastic quality, he wondered how much longer until she became an apprentice.

Sandyclaw nodded his head. "Of course I wouldn't forget Swanstar. She's my friend." Or maybe more? I don't even know myself anymore.
Spottedkit concentrated on her "prey". Her tail began to twitch eagerly but her focus was on the feathers and moss ball. The position she was in was difficult to maintain so she leaped forward. The small kit landed just before the piece of prey. Not giving up, Spottedkit smacked the prey down with a tiny paw and bit its "neck". "I did it!" She squealed happily, lifting the prey with her jaws.

(Honestly though, with that whole playing thing we did between Swanstar and Sandyclaw makes me want them together.... THEIR KITS WOULD BE SO CUTE)
Swiftcloud nodded, "Be sure you don't." His voice was mild, but something sharp lingered in his gaze.
Zephyr nodded, "Yes, the clans that live out there," He pointed with his tail towards the forest. "They work together and live in a group."

Palepaw visibly brightened when Swanstar mentioned her, catching up to her mentor and rubbing her head against her shoulder with cheerful affection. "I'll be happy with any name you give me Swanstar! You're the best!"

Swanstar purred at her apprentice, leaning down to nuzzle the top of the cats head. She truly wished that Palepaw was her own, for, the young cat made her feel more like a mother than a mentor. "I'm sure you will little one."

Hey you know what helps when I'm stressed out Zora... I go outside when its quiet and sit by a tree for a few minutes. It helps ground you so you pretty much drain yourself of the stress.)
