Wolfpaw nodded and began to move forward. He stayed light on his paws as he stalked.
"I suppose that's true." Badgernight nodded.
"Shadowblossom is too busy with her kits." Mistpaw rolled her eyes.

Wolfpaw pounced on the leaf, landing square on it.
"Yea I guess." Mistpaw shrugged. "It does leave me mentor less though."

Nettlepatch nodded "Did you ask Lightningstar for a temporary mentor? Usually leaders appoint them when a mentor moves to the nursery, but it wasn't really needed with you in the medicine cat den.."
Seafoam looked at her swollen belly "Peachdapple still wasn't sure how many kits there were going to be, I wouldn't necessarily be opposed to only having two or three this time." she mewed chuckling softly "Especially since I'm caring for Webkit as well."

"Very nicely done! If you keep practicing like that, you'll get better at hunting easily," Stormface meowed, "But remember, be patient. It takes time to become skilled, especially at something like hunting."

"No I havent." Mistpaw looked at him. "I've been training with Viperfang though." She purred as she thought about the tom. He was so handsome and gentle with her when they trained.
"let's hope for two or three then." Badgernight nodded.

Stormface gave the apprentice a short purr. "It's no problem. I enjoy teaching- let me know if you need help again, if your mentor is busy," he mewed.

Stormface stood and padded after the apprentice. "Tell me where we're going, how we get there, and what kinds of prey we'll find," he rumbled. Experience was the best way to learn, he'd found, and he'd let the apprentice have free reign over this expedition.
