As this is a border page, there is no need for anything fancy. However a simple rule applies to this thread; Do not post here unless you're a roleplayer from either of these clans.
Thank you.

Cardinalsong with Fadingnight || Season: ⛄ Moving through the rain and the cold, Cardinalsong tasted the air as she finally found herself at the border between AetherClan and AstraClan. Awhile ago, the she-cat had set off from camp on her own for a bit of hunting and patrolling - it was probably no surprise to her clanmates at this point that the introverted she-cat preferred to be by herself rather than accompanied by others. She definitely didn't have a penchant for training alone as much as her littermate Dankspeck Darkspeck did, but the sepia warrior certainly did find some peace and quiet from trekking through the familiar territory alone. Of course, now that she had made it all the way to the border, she knew to remain diligent and check for trespassers from their neighboring clan. The two clans were civil to each other, sure, but they definitely weren't without skirmishes either. Once that was over, the she-cat laid down for a brief respite. Sure, the weather was dreary, but she just didn't feel up to returning to the buzz of camp quite yet and wanted to revel in the calmness for a few moments longer.

Ðᴏʟᴄᴇ , yay :') our first post here!! ] Fadingnight crept towards the border with a general curiosity but intention. His crisp, cool eyes remained diligently sharp as he padded through the thick of trees. He had scented AetherClan, and while he wasn't particularly caring on reprimanding an intruder, remaining loyal to the clan at least compelled him to move forward once he caught the fresh scent through the breeze that now ruffled his sleek fur. The scent markers at the border grew incredibly stronger and that's when he slowed and moved with careful steps, knowing well that he was the closest one could get without crossing the border that divided the two clans. Without so much as a few heartbeats passing, he had recognized the brown fur of a cat not too far away. Had that been the cat he scented from so far away? The scent sure carried. He recognised with surprise, not that it showed of course. "What brings you so close to my side?" The tom asked, not bothering with a greeting, in fact not bothering with doing much of anything as he padded alongside the side that kept him 'safe' as he would call it. Safe enough to pin the blame on anyone if they dared step over, anyway! Now that he looked closer, he recognised the cat to be Cardinalsong. Of all cats, why had it been her? Though he supposed he hardly knew her to make an assumption of any sort.

Cardinalsong with Fadingnight || Season: ⛄ Cardinalsong caught the scent of another warrior before she saw him, and she quickly sat up to avoid being caught relaxing. She recognized the AstraClan warrior by name from previous gatherings - Fadingnight. Of course, she didn't know much about the tom beyond that, so she kept up her guard, ears twitching as he addressed her. "Checking the border," she answered matter-of-factly. It wasn't that she was trying to act pretentious or anything to the fellow warrior, simply that she figured the only reason anyone ever came this far into the territory was to do just that - check the border. Then again, just moments before, she'd been relaxing on her side of the territory... but that was a bit too embarrassing to admit, and she simply hoped the tom hadn't caught her doing so. Just her luck: on the rare occasion that she found herself trying to get a bit of rest and relaxation in before returning to her duties, she encountered another warrior! Lashing her tail, she continued, "And you? You're as close to our side as I am to yours." Of course, Cardinalsong didn't really expect Fadingnight to have any ill intentions (except perhaps to chase her off if she wandered over the border, but she had no intention of doing that) - from what little she knew of him, he seemed to be an honorable warrior - but she figured if he could ask her such a question then she could do the same. Then again, her social skills had always been... well, lacking, so maybe that wasn't the right thing to say in this situation.

noble. ; i'm trying to get a feel of this happy outward but sad inward cat so excuse his weird personality lol ] Fadingnight gazed to the sky above as he flitted about through the forest, finding himself admiring the melancholic feel the clouds reflected. Only the smallest of sunlight seemed to pour through their cold barricade. A solemn start to the day. The silky furred tom noted. Being alone felt just that much more impactful at the moment. With the way the weather felt today, the coldness from the earth at his paws and the resembling sky above. He remembered his last time here at the border between their clans, AetherClan and AstraClan, and how he had met Cardinalsong. A she-cat he had seen before at gatherings but not very much outside of that. When he thought about it, it was very rare for him to see much to any AetherClan cats about at their border. Was it that Silverstar didn't care to send them out? After all, gazing about the frosted greenery here was always something Fadingnight had enjoyed. And from doing it the countless amount of times, it became apparent to him how truly rare it was to see any clan cats here. Regardless, the warrior could only softly smile at the seclusion this part of the territory provided.

The she-cat had considered several aspects of her territory. She could venture to Shell Rock and feel the bitter wind pierce her coat and watch the rolling waves swallow themselves; mystified in their manner and contemplate how far her body would be carried if she too were swallowed whole. She could have slipped into the bright meadow and been greeted by the open sky and soft kiss of the grass, offering her a shelter from the vile truths of the world with its beautiful disguise of the horrid world. She could have gone to the Newleaf Twolegplace and breathed in the distant scents of twolegs and contemplated what it would've have been like to be born a kitty-pet. Despite all these possibilities she chose to wander through the forest, allowing her paws to lead her where they may. It was only after some time did she realize that they were taking her towards the border and was immediately intrigued. Silverstar had not been sending out border patrols lately, though she couldn't blame her, not with everything that has been happening in camp. With a nod of her head, the young silver-tabby took it upon herself to go on a solo border patrol knowing fully well that the border was well overdue for a marking.
The shadows of the thickening foliage swallowed the stout feline as her paws guided her towards the border. She could only imagine the earful she would hear from Dewstripe and Violetdawn about going on her little adventure before consulting them this morning. Sedgecloud had been smart enough this time to awake just as the pale blue light of dawn began to stream through the trees, and well before Dewstripe or Violetdawn would stir in their nests. She rolled her dark eyes at the thought of them. The last moon they had tried to prevent her from going to the gathering. Dewstripe and Violetdawn had attempted reason with her - a feat they had not ventured far in - and was met with all of her meticulous rational. Though Dewstripe's skills of persuasion had earned her a revered status among the clan and Violetdawn's healing expertise was never questioned, they were no match for Sedgecloud's stubbornness. She was going to the gathering whether they liked it or not. Leaf-bare had not been kind to her nor everything else in the forest. Especially her. Exhaustion stained her dark eyes and hunger-ravaged her bones. There was a weakness that persisted her for moons now, dragging her down with unknown weight. "It's just the cold" she had convinced herself, but that was long ago when the trees were still bleeding and as time pulled at her flesh, nothing came. Surmounting frustration continued to rise as each day passed without a conclusion and Dewstripe and Violetdawn persisted her to eat, but she just didn't find anything appetizing. Nothing smelled good. Sunlight washed over the she-cat's thick pewter coat as she got closer to the border. A smile danced on her face as familiar trees swarmed her vision, her curiosity increasing. She hadn't really ever been on many border patrols and had always found them intriguing despite the boring news the patrols delivered each time. She felt as if she were a paw again as her plump tail twitched with excitement.
Tilting her head back she scented the air but nothing came, just the faint smell of the forest. The pewter she-cat scrunched her nose in disapproval but quickly brushed it off and continued on her merry way, admiring the trees that towered over her, completely oblivious to the feline that lurked ahead

noble. ; here you are! ^^ I'm sorry if it's hard to respond to. I didn't want him to see Sedgecloud just yet. At least in my response. ] Fadingnight's ears twitched at the sound of something. Or rather someone. It took little time before he had also been greeted with the overbearing stench of an AetherClan cat. His blue eyes flitted about the trees, admiration in his eyes replaced with caution. What once was his little get away from camp had now turned into a possible battlefield. He himself was a laid-back cat when it came to the civilities between the clans. Last time he had been here he and Cardinalsong had only exchanged a few words and nothing more. No claws, and he was thankful for that. It wasn't as if she was a threat to him or to the clan that time. But this encounter could prove different. Feelings of hope soon began to swell within him. How great it would be if there wasn't a need for him to fight. Heaving a sigh, he soon followed after the newfound scent, his body low to the ground. He had been thankful for the presence of snow that laid here in the forest. Its existence would prove helpful in keeping him hidden from any of the eyes that may be looking out for him as well. Now then. He moved slowly through the snow-blanketed undergrowth. Anticipation nipping at the back of his paws for the other cat to make a move. The tom hadn't caught sight of them just yet, but he knew it would be a mere few heartbeats.

Sedgecloud was one of the few, if not the only one, whoms heart soared at the sight of the fluffy white that fell from the sky. It was unclear to her why she admired the cold and cruel white matter, but she did. She found it rather beautiful, especially when it was falling. The world possessed a certain stillness, one that your self could get lost in and perhaps never return. Despite all of this, there was a slight twinge of annoyance that rattled inside Sedgecloud as she trugged through the snow, her dainty paws stinging from the cold. The pewter she-cat admired the manipulative white powder, but was quickly being reminded why so many others looked at it with only distaste.
The she-cat continued to truge on, her plump tail trailing behind her. It was as she was nearing Astraclan that an idea slid into her head. The awfully skinny she-cat scrunched her nose, dissapointed in herself for the thought. However she quickly forgot about her scold and was pressed by her curidosity. Her pace slowed as she got closer and closer to the border until finally the scent of Astraclan shot up her nose.
The small fae stopped and stood there, on the very edge of the border, as the trees creeked above, the winter breeze ruffling her dull coat. Her warm pools absorbed the landscape that rolled out before her, interested in the myseries and secrets it held. Her heart yearned to move past the Aetherclan border and beyond, far far past the clan's territory, but she had always held her paws. But the urge, the desire, she didnt know if she wanted to fight it this time. Her paws itched to venture further and explore but her senses soon returned to her. She wasn't a foolish paw, there were rules that she had to follow.
She continued to stand there as her surroundings surged before her, the wind stirring the air. It was then that the aroma of another cat tickled her nose. Parting her jowls she breathed in the sharp air, her nares flaring and twitching. At first only the piercing scent of cold shot up her nose, causing her eyes to become somewhat glossy. She focused beyond the harsh scent of winter and it was then as the scent of an Astraclan cat traveled through her nose that she knew she wasn't alone.
sorry this is so bad x-x i rushed it a bit ]
