Should we have a notifications thread, where instead of the reader having to add to bookmarks, instead the author will post on the thread and they only have to bookmark that.

honestly it's not that necessary?
like it's called the front page lol
things don't get bumped off there for a few days, usually a week
all ya have to do is skim that and it's like they're all bookmarked
