The warrior laughed, "Oh I bet you do, " She purred the she-cat was amused at just the thought of all the funny things that kits would be doing. All the embarrassing moments with their mothers. She remembered her mother a kitty-pet named Honey. A sweet cat but boy was she embarrassing. She would constantly groom her and scold her and such. Sparkheart chuckled to herself, "I cant imagine the things you have on them." The she-cat said with a flick of her tail. "What sort of stories do you have? You don't have to name names but t would be so funny to hear." She said still laughing. The young warrior just hoped everything was as funny as she was thinking. Bearfluff smiled, remembering that Sparkheart was born a kittypet. There was no way he could have kit stories about her, which was a little disappointing. He was glad to know the other cat's kit stories, though. "Well, there was one kit who was terrified of clouds. First time they saw them, they thought the world was ending." He remembered fondly and laughed a little. "There was a kit who thought they'd get nine lives and become leader if they just slept in the leaders den. They were heart broken when I had to explain that wasn't how it worked."
{{ I just made up some random stories. I guess if someone wants to claim them as their own character's kit adventures they could, if they want Bearfluff to be able to embarrass them later, I guess? }}
{{ Here's where they last left off. Duskwish can join in the conversation if you want, or she can change the subject until Froststar has them leave. }}

Duskwish rolled in the warriors den, fast asleep. Her pink tongue lolled out of her mouth as she laid on her back. Her paws quickly twitched at her dream-world that she was swallowed in. Duskwish padded through the star-lit field, following the dark midnight sky to a bright illuminated lake. Thick fog covered the wide area around it. She sat at the edge, gazing into the bottomless body of water. She was able to make out a reflection, not hers, however. There was a she-cat who looked very much similar staring back at her. Duskwish came into realization, her expression lit up with an impossibly large grin. "Mom! It's actually you!" The she-cat stood from the damp grass and stared harder. Slowly, the image started to fade until nothing was left expect the gentle breeze touching her dark coat. The warrior flopped on her side, forcing her eyes to open. For some reason she expected to see her long gone mother laying beside her, quite disappointing when she saw nothing but emptiness and an echo of voices around her. Another dream? She heaved a sigh and arose to her four legs. They cracked, she'd probably been asleep for awhile now. Duskwish peered out of the den after a long stretch. The blue-stained sky hit her eyes hard before being blasted with the sun's stinging rays of light. She stepped out, heat glowering on her black pelt. She looked around camp before noticing two cats talking about kit stories. "Hey," The she-cat appeared in front of Bearfluff and Sparkheart. Duskwish continued, "Telling kit stories?" She plopped down with them, ear perked and tail straight, almost waiting to be noticed.

Bearfluff noticed Duskwish right away and smiled at her happily, flicking his tail and responding with a friendly purr. "Yep! Sparkheart was asking me about the stories I've collected about the kits." He told her happily, a little bit glad that he wouldn't have to be completely alone with his crush. "I've got lots of black mail on the apprentices and young warriors. It's the best part of being a queen!" He offered a small laugh, just to show that he was joking. As he spoke, he looked over his shoulder and glanced to see if Froststar was finished eating. He was itching to get the patrol moving, so he could get back to camp faster and tidy up the dusty nursery.

Leopardfang felt a pang of fear at Fawndapple's suggestion, but she knew they should check the area thoroughly. "I'll go," she meowed, looking at the other members. "Unless someone's really eager to cross first." she added with a laugh, trying to diffuse the tension and fear she could feel coming from the other cats.
Stonepaw looked up at her mentor incredulously. She was fine with being near the thunderpath, but crossing it was going to be a whole other ordeal. "Do we have to?" she meowed quietly, looking out at the smooth surface with round eyes. (Reposting these ^^)
Ravenheart did not know how to respond. "I"m sorry, Shimmerpaw. Maybe you could try mentioning it to one of the leaders. They're pretty understanding, they might find a way to help. In the meantime I can try to calm Feathersplash down?" he offered, though he knew there wasn't much of a chance of him being able to do much in this situation. Nevertheless, he didn't want to leave his apprentice feeling hopeless.

Duskwish smiled and lightly chuckled at his short joke. Her attention was drawn by the brief glance Bearfluff had made to Froststar, who seemed to be finishing up some prey. "A little anxious to get onto the patrol, I see." She nodded understandingly, grinning. She flicked her tail to and fro, as if she were waiting as well. After a couple heartbeats she looked away at her paws, expression growing more awkward at the eerie silence. The bi-colored she-cat looked back at them, scanning their faces to see if anyone would speak. uh... heh, this is weird. she thought to herself. Maybe I should.. say something? What's there to say..? Sometimes silence is good for the soul. Naw! The quiet air was split by an exaggerated yawn. Duskwish got to her four legs once more and stretched as she had done in the warriors den. "I think I'm just about ready for the patrol, I do say so myself!" The she-cat kindly purred, shooting glances at both of them.

Hawkeye Armageddidn't( Sorry Whitefang! I totally missed that!) Fawndapple laughed at what Leopardfang had said, although she knew that no one else would be daring enough to volunteer. Fawndapple nodded to Stonepaw, "We have to make sure that theirs no intruders." She mewed, looking through the hedges. She could hear the monsters rushing by, and she almost regretted mentioning it, and she decided to throw in some words of encourgament to the patrol, "It's nothing we can't handle. I we're some of the best warriors in the clan!" She mewed proudly, smiling to her patrol. Feathersplash decided to give Shimmerpaw once last chance to stop talking about her. She decided that she would try and be the bigger cat here, and calm herself down. She could very faintly see the fence to the kitty-pet place in the distance, and that would hopefully give her an excuse to split off a little from the patrol. Currently, she was in quite a bad mood, and if she saw a kitty-pet, she would show no mercy.

{{ Hi, Sandy. }} "Are you coming to patrol with us?" asked Bearfluff. He couldn't remember what patrol Duskwish had been assigned to. He wondered for a moment if he could just convince her to take his place in the patrol and let him stay at camp, but decided against it. Froststar liked having four cats on her patrol anyways so there was no use. "We need one extra cat, and maybe more cats would make it finish faster?"Bearfluff didn't know how true that was. He wasn't very good at patrolling. To be honest, he just wanted more cats in case Skata showed up, because even though hiding in the Ominous Cherry Tree was a good idea, Skata would probably just knock the tree down anyways. It would be better to have at least a million cats to fight her.

(Hiya) Duskwish stared at Bearfluff before replying, "Yeah, I might as well come." She cracked her toes and lashed her tail, trying to remember if Froststar had assigned her to the patrol already... either way, she'd be going. "Well," she began, flashing a glance at Froststar, "he looks almost as if he is finishing." She slightly smiled. Of course I don't want to rush him. "How's your day so far, Bearfluff?" She asked with a charming smile, hoping to get a quick conversation going to pass the time. Though this shecat is very patent, her paws intched to get moving. Hopefully, since the weather is adjusting to be much warmer, the prey will be more plentiful. The black-and-white warrior sat back down , she didn't want to look like she was about to sprint away, and wrapped her tail around her paws patiently.

Shimmerpaw tries to talk calmer. "They don't listen to me, most likely because of my kittypet heritage... Barely anyone talks to me." She's breathing hard, trying to fight back the yowl warning to escape. CALM DOWN SHIMMERPAW! YOU NEED TO RELAX!! ((nose is still bleeding* AAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAA))

I'm glad she's coming, he thought, Maybe the patrol will be more enjoyable -and safer-with more cats to talk to. He felt a lot safer with three other cats that were actual good warriors. "Yeah, Froststar looks like she's almost done. I know she was hunting earlier today so I bet she's just taking her time because she's tired." He said. He could understand feeling tired; at that moment, he felt very tired. "And my day's been going okay, I guess. I'm super tired right now though -not used to waking up so early. How about you, Sparkheart?" He realized that Sparkheart had only been up for a little bit, so he quickly changed his question -"Like, how was your sleep, I mean?"

Duskwish nodded once he'd been finished talking. "That's good." she commented, staring at the rest of camp. It was a fair day today, a nice breeze, enough sunlight to keep your pelt warm, not too humid, and she'd seen many birds flying and chirping over head. Sparkheart had been fairly quiet for the past time Bearfluff and her were talking. She decided to keep her muzzle shut and let the other warrior talk. (Aaah, the short post! *dies of shortpostophohia*)

Bearfluff blinked at Duskwish's response, but didn't press it any further. Maybe she didn't hear his question, but he felt as though continuing conversation wouldn't be useful since Froststar was sure to be coming over soon, as she had been eating for like forever. Instead, he turned away from the other cats, so he was sitting aligned to Sparkheart's shoulder, and waited for Froststar to walk over and enjoyed the warmth of the day silently.
{{ I added all your cats to the front page, Sandy! Sorry it took so long. My computer doesn't work very well, so I have to edit the front page by using the BBCode, which is pretty frustrating. I was going to make a new Teacher OC because two apprentices don't have mentors. Would you like him to be Duskwish's brother? I think you wanted a sibling for her, if I remember correctly? }}

(( foxdance-- Oh heh, you can always take your time with me, I'm patient Cx As for Duskwish's brother, that would be great, thanks!!)) Duskwish watched Bearfluff turn to Froststar. She shuffled her white paws and dug them into the ground. The warrior heaved a long sigh, looking at the leader as well. The gentle breeze shook through her thick black pelt. Warm sunshine was layed out like a blanket across the camp, making it harder to catch shade. The scent was sweet with blooming flower buds and berries - the same New-Leaf season smell that she adored. It almost seemed endless, this long wait, but Duskwish kept her patience and waited for Froststar to finish.

Ravenheart's eyes widened as he looked between Feathersplash's disappearing form and Shimmerpaw hyperventilating beside him. "Look, Shimmerpaw," he tried, desperate to get her to calm down, "We need to follow Feathersplash, we're still on patrol. Please, just take a deep breath and try and calm yourself, we can talk about this later but right now we need to follow her." before she finds a kittypet to take her aggression out on, he added mentally, starting to walk a bit faster.
Leopardfang's heart hammered in her chest as she smiled weakly back at Fawndapple. Despite being a warrior for a good while now, she had only crossed the thunderpath a handful of times. As she stepped out onto the hard surface, watching a monster approach in the distance, Leopardfang prayed that another wouldn't appear so that she could cross safely after this first one.

Feathersplash was still marching ahead, being sure to stay a few fox-lengths ahead of the two other cats, as now, she deemed herself the leader of the patrol. As the houses were nearing closer to them, Feathersplash was already scanning all of the trees, bushes, and fences to see if there was any kitty-pets anywhere. She almost hoped to see a kitty-pet so she could take her anger out on something, but even she acknowledged that was a little bit cruel.
Fawndapple took a couple steps backs from Leopardfang, even though she probably shouldn't of, but she reasoned that it was just in case something came out from behind to attack them, although in the back of her head, she knew that it was just because she was so scared. She was debating whether or not it was that important to check the thunderpath, and if she should just stop everyone and they could run back to the clan. Despite that idea sounding really pleasant it seemed like it was almost to late.

Dewfall; Feeling a pang of empathy for Leopardfang, she realized how difficult it must be to go first. One hadn't seen any cat before them go, and it was rare that they crossed the thunderpath at all. It made her question why they were crossing; But the safety of EmeraldClan was much more important than a little bit of fear. They were all experienced, crossing was just a test. And it was easy, she had done it before and she assumed that the others had. Watching carefully, her fur stood on end. She looked at Fawndapple. Seeing that she had backed, she did the same as not to seem out of line.

{{ I'd likely to quickly update people on Shimmerpaw's backstory It was changed a lot from the original, and most of the cats should know about it because it's a big event. So, Shimmerpaw's parents were originally rogues named Sliver (later Sliverwing) and Dove (later Doveheart). When they joined EmeraldClan, Sliver(wing) was already pregnant and gave birth to Shimmerpaw and her sister Skypaw after a moon of living with EmeraldClan. When Shimmerpaw was 7 moons old, her family decided to go hunting and Shimmerpaw declined so that she could sleep in. While hunting, her family ran into an aggressive group of rogues, whom her family confronted. The rogues attacked them and killed her parents, and Skypaw, blind with fear, ran into the thunderpath in an attempt to escape the rogues, but was hit by a monster. The rogues moved off, and the bodies of Shimerpaw's family were found by a patrol. So Shimmerpaw's family was killed a moon ago, as Shimmerpaw is now 8 moons old. Everyone knows it was rogues that killed them, as the scent of them were found and the rogues were later spotted fleeing the territory. }}
