EmeraldClan was begin by a kind, motherly she -cat named Amber Creek. She was unable to have her own kits, so she took in any orphaned kits that she found. She raised them in a birch forest where butterflies flew, and in a protected circle of trees that she found. She lived in the stone caves that stood there, and dug a tunnel home so her children would be safe. When she had ten kittens, they were getting hard to care for.
But luckily, she found a friend: a she -cat named Cherry, who came with two of her own children, and offered to help if she could stay. She and Amber Creek fell in love, and together, continued to raise orphaned kits, and allowing them to stay when they got their own mates, offering a safe place for them.
They continued to do so as the time passed, as their children had children, it again became hard to keep everyone in order.
"We should make this a society," suggested Cherry one day, "Have rules and establish a territory, to protect our family." Amber Creek agreed, and when they suggested it to their family, they all agreed.
Cherry and Amber Creek became the leaders, and they established rules and their territory. They ruled together, and changed their names to Cherrystar and Amberstar so newcomers could tell who was leader, and gave their children two -worded names so they could identify themselves to rogues or loners.
They named themselves EmeraldClan, after the butterflies that led Amber Creek to their home in the first place.
If you break a rule more than three times, then I will message you to give you a chance to correct it. If I have to constantly message you, then I will be salty.
1. EmeraldClan follows the Emerald Code.
It's very similar to the Warrior Code, but it'd probably be a good idea to read it.
2. Follow all forum rules and ghost rules.
I'm not writing them all down.
3. Make your cats realistic.
This means you cannot have a cat with purple fur, rainbow eyes, wings, ect. This also includes a two moon old kitten with scars a blind rogue cat living by themselves, a cat who is perfect at everything/liked by everyone.
4. No power play.
You cat isn't a superhero. They do not/can not have superpowers or fight a badger on their own. Even cats who are experienced fighters can make mistakes while fighting, and get hurt.
5. Do not godmod.
God-modding is when you RP someone else's character. That is not allowed. Their character is their own, they get to decide what their cat says or does, not you. God-modding also includes deciding what other people's characters think of your own character, or making your own character continue attacking or moving them without allowing the RPer to respond.
Stick to your own characters.
6. Include other members while RPing.
You don't have to go out of your way to make sure EVERYONE is RPing, but if someone asks to join your Role-play, try as best as you can to include them.
7. This is a semi -literate Clan!
One/ two -liners are unacceptable. A paragraph is the smallest amount that you are allowed to write; occasionally, writing three sentences in okay, but don't make a habit of it. To be specific, a paragraph is four complete sentences. A sentence is at least six words. I will not take any excuses of "I don't know what to write!" because that's ridiculous. Describe what your cat sees, smells, feels (physically and emotionally) and if possible, tastes. Write what they are thinking, write the physical reactions of an emotion. I.e, when a cat is angry, their ears will flatten, they'll bare their teeth, hackles rise, eyes narrow, glaring, ect.
8. Be active!!
Best case scenario, you're able to come on everyday. Worst case scenario: you are gone for over two weeks and I'm forced to remove you. If you are going to be gone for a while, then tell me, and I'll gladly excuse you.
But if I do have to remove you, than instead of getting rid of your characters from the alliances and the RP, I will allow other people to take your characters and role -play with them, epically if they are important to a storyline.
If you come back, then you can have your character back. But if I have to remove 3 times, then I will not allow you to re-join.
9. Be considerate of other RPers.
Use respectful language and avoid using swear words. Of course your cat can say "mouse-brain" or other insults, but let's avoid using rude words. Try not to make fight scenes overly gory, or romance scenes too graphic. If you can ask to 'skip' part of a role play if you want to.
10. Do not kit -steal!
Just don't.
11. You are not allowed to kill other people's characters.
It's kind of rude tbh. If you think the death of someone's character would be an interesting plot-point, you can ask them if they'd be okay that their character die for the ~storyline~ but other than, don't kill their characters without permission.
12. I must accept all major plot points.
You can either PM me (Foxdance) or you can just ask in this thread. Major plot points include animal attacks, murders, deaths, sickness outbreaks, prophecies, ect. I'd also like if you'd tell me if you'd like your character to have a 'backstory' just so I can make sure that it makes sense with the time period and stuff.
If you notice that I am not on, but Swiftpaw Slash is on, then you can also message her. She's my sister, so she will be able to come and get me.
13. You are allowed to have LGBT+, Agender, or trans cats.
I mean, the founders of EmeraldClan were both she -cats. So, if you'd like an LGBT cat, an Agender cat (a cat that doesn't identify as a boy or a girl) or a trans cat (a male/female cat that identifies as the opposite gender) then feel free. Add it into the description of your cat.
14. No drama outside of RP.
This is a role play. RP's aren't fun without conflict, so if someone makes their cat mean to your cat, it's not an attack on you. It's an attempt to stir up an interesting role play. Someone asking you if they're cat could hurt/kill/otherbadstuff to your cat, it's not an attack on you, but again, is an attempt to make an interesting RP. If you're cat isn't a big part of a major plot line, again, it is not an attack on you. Additionally, if you are found to be breaking rules and I or Swiftpaw scold or reprimand you, it is still not an attack on you, but what we do to keep the Clan running smoothly.
15. Both I (Foxdance) and Swiftpaw Slash will enforce rules.
Everyone is required to know the rules and follow the rules. I didn't make them to be ignored: the first five times you break a rule, I will message you to inform you. If you continue to break the same rule repeatedly, I will begin to call you out on this page, if reminding you privately doesn't work. When you join, write pencil case somewhere in your joining sheet. Swiftpaw Slash, my sister who also helped make EmeraldClan, is allowed to remind people to follow rules.
THE EMERALD CODE
All EmeraldClan cats are taught the Emerald Code when they become apprentices. Before they become warrior, they must have it committed to memory.
If the code is broken, then the guilty cat will receive a punishment based on the rule they broke.
1. EmeraldClan warriors must help any cat or kit in need even if they are out of Clan cats.
2. EmeraldClan cats will not attack or harm another cat unless they present danger first.
3. Leaders, deputies, and medicine cats may not use their power to harm other cats.
4. EmeraldClan members must stay within the safety of the borders, unless they are trying to help a cat or kit that is out of borders
5. Claws must stay sheathed during play or battle training. EmeraldClan cats will not harm one another.
6. All cats of EmeraldClan will be equally respected, be they born as kittypets, rogues, loners, or born into EmeraldClan.
7. Apprentices will become warriors when they are ready, and not a day sooner. Mockery or taunting of an apprentice that is a late warrior will not be tolerated.
8. Only Teachers can become deputies. The second deputy can be any cat the first deputy chooses, but may not be their parent or child.
9. Only leaders and deputies can make a warrior a Teacher.
10. In the case of the death of one leader, the surviving leader may not chose another leader to rule with. They will lead with their deputies, no matter how many lives they have left at the time of the other leader's death.
11. Leaders and deputies can mentor apprentices, as long as they were Teachers before getting their rank.
12. For safety, apprentices under ten moons must stay in camp unless accompanied by an older cat.
CAMP
The camp of EmeraldClan is in the back of the territory, in which behind them, tall mountains stand. Their camp is surrounded by a tree wall of birch trees, rocks and bushes, with two entrances: one in the front, and one in the back, facing the mountains.
It forms a circle, and the dens are stone caves, half –hidden in the wall. They are not properly cared for, and have grown vines, moss and even bushes atop of them, giving the camp an abandoned and run –down look and feel. There are four/4 dens: three of them are stone caves, the three of which being the apprentices den, warriors den, and the leaders den.
The leaders den is directly across from the main entrance, with the apprentices den on the left, and the warriors den on the right. Behind the warriors den, there is a tree stump, with a hole under that expands into a tunnel that takes up the entire ground below camp. The elder’s den, nursery and medicine den are all under there in interloping tunnels that expand into three separate den spaces. The walls of the tunnels are held up by sticks and rocks, and the medicine den part has pockets in the wall for herbs.
In the very center of camp, there is a cherry birch tree, where the leader makes announcements on a large branch. No –one knows why the cherry tree grew, and it is called “The Ominous Cherry Tree”. Around the tree, the cats put their prey. They put leaves on the floor so the prey doesn’t touch the ground, and line it with stone, for style ~
The hidden entrance is behind the leader’s den, and leads to a path in the mountains, which goes to a safety den.
TERRITORY
The territory is lush and wet, with many birch trees and bushes. It is also particularly rocky, especially near the mountains.
There is a river that cuts through the middle of the territory, with large, smooth stepping stones to get past it. The stream is rather shallow and is used only as a source of water, not a hunting spot. It has thick cattail patches and frogs. It is packed with fish, but the cats never bother to hunt them.
The warriors typically use the river to pin point where they are: if you go straight from the stepping stones, for example, you will find camp. But they also use several other landmarks.
The Training Meadow is a large meadow that is dotted with bushes and rocks. It has one large boulder that is tall and smooth on top, and overlooks the whole meadow. It is at the edge of the meadow, and mentors use it to watch their apprentices train.
The Grand Oak is, as the same implies, a large Oak Tree a few miles right of the Training Meadow. It is unknown how it grew there, but it is thought that the acorn was carried by a squirrel.
The Cat-mint Patch grows beside the river. It’s quite the sizable patch, and has moss nests built around it. In case of green cough, cats that have it are moved to the moss nests, and can have access to the cat mint.
The Mushroom Cavern is three miles left of the camp, and is part of the mountain. It is dark and grows a lot of mushrooms of many varieties, and if you go very far back, there is a crystal inside.
Sunny Mountain is a pile of rocks next to the Mushroom Cavern. They are smooth and have moss covering them, but the very top of it has no moss and is used to survey the territory, or to sun on.
The River Rock is a tall, jagged rock with a flat tip. It’s next to the Sliver Path, and can be a struggle to get upon, in times where a dangerous cat or animal is seen, a cat is stationed upon it to make sure they see nothing unusual. If they do, they can signal to the camp by waving their tail (they can be seen from standing on a rock in camp) or they can run back to camp.
Sliver Path is a cat-made path of small pebbles, gravel, and sand that goes from the stepping stones to the entrance of camp.
The Rabbit Valley is in the mountains. To get to it, a cat must go on a thin path up the mountain called the Shaky Path which leads directly to the Valley. The valley is full of rabbits, but it is dangerous to go there. Skata's den is further up the mountain.
Star Crystal is the name of the crystal inside Mushroom Cavern. It is used to connect with StarClan. It looks like a large icicle growing from the ceiling. It is the only barer of light in the cave, and such is easy to find. There is a hole in the ceiling that drips sparkling water, that slides down the Star Crystal and forms a puddle under it.
Every moon, the medicine cat come to visit StarClan. They drink from the puddle and then sleep under the Star Crystal, and StarClan cats will walk in their dreams.
The Clan has four borders that are patrolled daily.
The North Border is behind camp. It's a little ways into the mountain, where rabbits normally reside in the Valley. It's a bit tricky to get there, as the path is rocky and unstable, but the large and lazy rabbits make it worth it. It isn't patrolled very often, because Skata's den is nearby.
The South Border is marked by the Thunderpath.
The thunderpath is two lanes, and has hedges on either side. The hedges are not tended too, so they are overgrown and thorny, and voles and mice often nest in them. However, foxes have also nested under them as well. On the left side of the thunderpath, there are river -laced hills that mark the territory of EmeraldClan's border Clan, SparrowClan.
The West Border is where the Thunderpath curves around the territory. It has the same overgrown hedges and the prey, but there is no mysterious Clan on the other side.
The East Border is where the twoleg place resides. It is a small town, and has many rodents and many cats. EmeraldClan does not go into the Twoleg Place, but there are many rodents (and kittypets) that tray onto EmeraldClan territory.

EmeraldClan is unaware of the Clan right next to them. Separated by a thunderpath, EmeraldClan has never come across their neighboring Clan, SparrowClan.
The thunderpath that separates the two Clans has a row of large hedges on either side, blocking EmeraldClan cats from seeing SparrowClan cats and vice versa.

To join EmeraldClan, I suggest that you read the alliances to see what roles are available. You can not pick 'deputy' as your role. You have to be very active to get to be deputy.
Remember:
Keep your characters realistic.
Your characters can be LGBT+, Trans, Agender, ect.
Remember that blind cats have a very small chance of surviving in the wild.
You can only have cats as characters. No foxes, dogs, coyotes, wolves, or anything else.
Fill out the forum that is provided.
Make sure to put your cat's sexuality with their gender. If they are straight, just put straight/heterosexual.

In EmeraldClan, they have two leaders and two deputies. The pair of cats are typically siblings, mates, or close friends. The leaders choose the first deputy, and then the new deputy chooses their second deputy.
Leaders, deputies, and medicine cats have slightly higher ranks above the other cats, which means that the other cats have to listen to them.
However, this does not mean the leaders have full control. If a leader suggests a major change, it must be agreed upon by the majority of above -kit cats. Apprentices have to wait to be eight moons before they are allowed to vote. This tradition stemmed from the family -like relationships during the first Clan.
The final tradition of EmeraldClan is that only Teachers can become a deputy. A teacher is a warrior who is allowed to teach apprentices. A warrior can be promoted to teacher by the leaders, and to do so, the warrior must show that they are kind, patient, smart and can deal with apprentices that might not learn very quickly.
The first deputy must be a teacher, but they can pick whoever they like as second deputy. The second deputy can not be their parent, or their child, and must be another warrior, queen, or teacher.
LEADER

Tansystar is a long-furred tawny torbi she -cat of dull brown and ginger, with darker ginger sorrel tabby stripes in her ginger spots. She has a white muzzle blaze, neck, chest, and under belly. She has a deep amber eyes, a black nose and paw pads, and a long bushy tail. She has a nick in her right ear, and two thin scars on her back, but her fur covers it.
Tansystar is friendly, patient and kind. She is highly energetic, and enjoys going on hunting and border patrols with her clanmates. She is very loud and confident, and it's easy for her to be the center of attention. She can make rash decisions sometimes, and is rather reckless and tends to jump into trouble without even thinking about it.

Froststar is a tall, broad shouldered she-cat, with sleek white fur, and gray speckles all along her muzzle, and chest. She has a long, white tail, with a gray dapple just at the dip. Froststar has light blue eyes, that resemble the color of an icy lake. She has a small scar on her lip.
Froststar, despite her intimating form, is a very timid and flighty cat. She doesn't like to fight, and isn't very skilled at it; she can fight when needed, but prefers to leave it to cats that are good at it. She loves to hunt, and is very graceful and fast. She mostly enjoys taking back the prey she has caught and showing her loved ones what she had caught for them. She is very affectionate and playful, and adores kits.

DEPUTIES
MEDICINE CAT
Redflower || 4 years, 3 moons. || Bisexual she-cat
Redflower is a lithe she-cat with long, dark ginger fur. She has black markings that twist down between her ears and to the tip of her nose, then fade out towards the back of her neck. These markings reappear around the base of her tail and wrap their way around to the tip. Her eyes are a dark green with light brown flecks, giving them a hazel appearance. She a scar that goes across her right eye, from an incident involving a bramble patch as a kit that took away some of her sight in that particular eye.
Redflower is a generally very kind she-cat, but she is definitely not a push-over. This she-cat will stick to what she believes in, and won't let any cat tell her otherwise, which can sometimes get her into trouble, but she always has good intentions. She has a soft spot for kits, and will always make time to play with them if she can, slightly saddened that she may never have any of her own. Nevertheless, she is very committed to her duties to the Clan, and will care for them until her last breath. She had wandered into Clan territory at about 8 moons old with her brother, and had stayed ever since.

Lavenderpaw | 11 moons || Straight Female
Lavenderpaw is a gray shecat with strange tufts in her ears. The tufts are a black color, along with her paws and chest. Her fur is short and sleek that appears very shiny in the light. She has long silver whiskers and a small pink nose. Her eyes are a very exquisite shade of sky blue, with flakes out faint violet. When the sun hits her eyes, it can give a faded purple-like look, as that was how she gained her name.
Lavenderpaw is a calm young shecat. Her maturity is perfect for her job, being focused and able to cope with pressure. Her memory is remarkable and spends mostly all day buried in the herbs and getting to know them inside and out. Her humor is faint, causing her to not socialize with the other apprentices unless they are hurt. Lavenderpaw is excited for any type of work, quizzes or treating wounds.

Brookswirl || 5 years, 5 moons. || Heterosexual she -cat
Bulky brown she -cat with fiery amber eyes, and medium length fur sporting thick black swirl tabby stripes. She has a blaze of white that goes all the way up to her fore-head, and long white socks on her front paws, and short socks on her back paws. She had a white tail -tip, a black nose and black paw-pads. She has a thick bushy tail that seems uneven with her body, and a thin scar near her tail-base, and another thin scar along the length of her under-belly.
Brookswirl is a feisty, short -tempered she -cat that speaks her mind even when not prompted, and refuses to keep her opinions to herself. She isn't very good at reading social cues, but enjoys socializing and has a good sense of humor. She loves to play-fight, and practice her fighting skills, but doesn't enjoy hunting as much, because speed isn't

Foxeye || 4 years, 3 moons || Straight male
Foxeye is a white tom with ginger patches that take a non-pattern appearance throughout his pelt. They're scattered across his fur, as well as one that goes in between his eyes and down around his mouth. The tom's fur is medium length, but has an almost fluffy look to it. This takes away from the whole "intimidating warrior" look, but nevertheless. His eyes are a dark amber, and their almost intimidating quality balances out his fluffy fur.
Foxeye is a generally pleasant tom, although he does have his anti-social moments. He has kept more of the rouge qualities than his sister has, despite living almost his whole life inside a Clan. However, once he makes friends, he'll open up to a kind, almost optimistic cat. He wandered into the territory with his sister, and has stayed ever since.

Hazelpounce|| 4 years 3 moons || Bi-sexual She-cat
Hazelpounce is a long white furred she-cat with light brown tabby splotches.She also has small dark brown spots that cover her whole body. Her spine has a stripe running down it which is light brown. Hazelpounce has small bigger legs for leaping. She has a smaller tail which isn't too long. Her eyes are a light blue.
Hazelpounce is fairly serious. While she can be calm. When its time to patrol , hunt or fight she is fairly strict and Hazelpounce also loves to lead patrols. As she can lead well.

Curlypetal || 4 years 3 moons || Straight She-cat
Curlypetal is also a white she-cat. But she has light//faint orange spots , reddish brown splotches and some black spots also. Curlypetal is very small for a warrior. Her legs are small and fragile. Her frame is fairly fragile also. But she has a very long tail which helps her leap well.
Curlypetal is a soft she-cat. She is sometimes quiet and doesn't speak her thoughts. She can't seem to ever project her voice and has to have her sister stand up for her.

Sundust || 4 years, 2 moons || Bi Sexual Tom
Sundust is a compact built tom, with muscle packed into every square inch of his body. He is not particularly large, but is very strong not super swift for a cat. He is a ginger stripped tabby, with more of a golden tone to his undercoat, and reddish tinged tabby stripes. He has a white patch on his chest down up to his nose which is a pale pink color. His eyes are pale green with a dark ring around them.
He is a cool and calculating tom who is almost too smart for his own good sometimes. The tom is usually rather nice, unless he has deemed that you are of no use to him, or an annoyance. Normally he is very blunt with how he views someone, until it comes to she-cats he likes. The tom has a bit of a flirty side, but in the shy I didn't mean to say that kind of way.

Sparkheart|| 2 years, 8 moons || She cat Bi-sexual
Sparkheart is a thin and lean she-cat with long fur giving the appearance that she is not as thin as she is. She is a snow bengal, Her pelt is a pale cream color and is always kept neat and well managed. Everything about her screams dainty or kittypet. Her nose and pads are pink and her paws are small. Throughout her fur are white almost marble like patterns that can barely be seen. Her eyes are a dark blue, contrasting from the rest of her rather light look. On her right ear there is a small section missing as well as a fairly large scar on her left side from an adventure as a kit
She is what you could call a social butterfly. Maybe a little to social, she has to have someone to talk to or she get bored really fast. This lead to trouble as a kit of course because she ventured out of camp often. It almos like she doesn't know when to be quiet she will pester till she gets an answer but this also means she is well versed in everything happening around camp. Usually. She is a loyal cat like if you asked her to keep a secret she would take it to her grave. Unless of course it went against the code with is something she hold more dear then her loyalty to a single cat.

Downfeather || 2 years 4 moons || Gay tom
Downfeather is a very dark tom with lighter black stripes all over his body. Downfeather has two white spots on his face. His body is smaller for a tom and his tail is also short. He has big paws and also white on the tip of his ears. His eyes are a dark green.
He is fairly quiet. But Downfeather can be pretty feminine and likes to hang around she-cats more than males. Downfeather is a fairly kind tom and is always willing to help others.

Feathersplash || 2 years, 3 moons || Bisexual she-cat
Feathersplash is a gray Bengal print cat with short-fur. She is very lean and tall, and isn't all that muscular. Feathersplash has a white tipped tail, and her front right paw is white. Feathersplash has as small tear in her left ear, and she has rough paws. Feathersplash has dark green eyes, her right eye being a slightly lighter green than the over.
Feathersplash is an incredibly graceful cat, who devotes most of her time to hunting. She loves climbing trees, and she says that it makes her feel free especially once she's at the top. Feathersplash, on occasion, does enjoy to argue, as she considers herself to be quite reasonable. Feathersplash doesn't like bringing kitty-pets into the clan. She views herself as above them, because her parents were the leaders of the clan, she calls herself a 'pureblood'. Feathersplash is okay with rogue kits, but as soon as they're 8 moons or older, she resents them.

Oakclaw || 2 years, 3 moons. || Heterosexual tom
Oakclaw's pelt is a reddish brown hue. Darker tabby markings run across his fur. It is long, which may seem nice during Leaf-bare frosts. However, Oakclaw isn't so fortunate in the sweltering heat of Greenleaf. His green eyes seem somewhat menacing at first glance, but they are not a mirror to his soul. The tom is broad-shouldered, but short enough to pass for a broad apprentice.
Oakclaw is a humorous tom, and is nearly always jovial. He can make almost any situation seem slightly more positive. He is kind to everybody and has difficulty inflicting pain on anyone, including enemies. This leads to his biggest flaw—Oakclaw is too trusting. His mind works to the point that he convinces himself that everything is innocent and trustworthy, including Skata and prey. He also is easily discouraged. It never takes much for him to simply give up.

Shadewhisper || 2 years, 3 moons. || Heterosexual she-cat
Shadewhisper's pelt is solid black, and grows thick by the end of Leaf-fall, but sheds immensely during the middle of Newleaf. One of her eyes has bad vision, but isn't completely blind. It may grow worse as she ages. Shadewhisper's best eye is a golden yellow, and the other is a cloudy shade of lemon yellow. She is tall and lithe, easily recognized as a warrior.
Shadewhisper is a friendly she-cat to her parents and brother, which is nice, but is sarcastic to most other cats. This can get her relationships with other cats generally start off on the wrong paw. She can be seen as double-faced, acting differently to different cats, which can be considered negative. Shadewhisper does have a determined attitude, especially when it comes to impossible things, such as killing Skata or actually earning the rank of Teacher (she's not exactly patient or kind to young cats). She is generally serious and isn't distracted as easily as Oakclaw.

Dewfall is a sliver, purebred Egyptian Mau with dark green eyes. She has sleek, short fur, long whiskers and tail, is normal height, and her nose is a dark blush color while her paw pads are black. She is average size and weighs around 7 pounds.
She has a scar across her left shoulder from fighting as an apprentice. She also has a scar on the side of her neck from getting struck by a sharp rock.
Dewfall is a happy, energetic cat. She's always excited to do things, and hardly tires. She is also very playful, retaining a kit -like spirit. When she gets tired, she loses her flounce, but that rarely happens. She is a very sweet cat and is affectionate and friendly to all other cats. She is very naïve, and tends to assume the best of cats and trusts a bit too easily, which sometimes leads to her being hurt. She is rarely upset, however, but is rather sensitive to being called annoying; she tries to avoid any cat that has hurt her.

Mistbreeze is a slender Egyptian Mau she cat with large green eyes. She has pale silver across the head, shoulders, outer legs, back and tail. Her underside is a brilliant pale silver, with markings of paler undercolor charcoal with white to pale silver. The back of her ears are of grayish pink with black tips and her nose is a brick red.
Mistbreeze is energetic and outgoing, opposite to her brother. She's a little reserved and her curiosity runs rampant sometimes causing trouble. She has an open mind and enjoys running around to staying in one place. Mistbreeze is loyal, and brave, willing to risk her life for another in danger.

Russetclaw is a slender Egyptian Mau tom with large green eyes. He has warm bronze ground color across his head, shoulder, outer legs, back and tail. The color is at its darkest at the "saddle" area, and from there the color lightens on the sides to tawny buff. His belly is a beautiful creamy ivory color, his nose is a brick red and ears have brown-black tips.
Russetclaw is bossy and fierce, but loyal. He has a terrible temper and sometimes loses it in certain situations, he's cautious around new things and others. He's very protective of Mistbreeze, but tries not to show it. Russetclaw isn’t very outgoing, he doesn't like large groups. But he's quite but he speaks his mind whenever he wants, he has his own world around him where he’s not bother by what others say.

Duskwish is a smaller, Bicolored cat. With her breed being bicolored- this makes her a black shecat with white paws, chest, tail tip and a white splotch on her forehead. She has wide, gentle blue eyes and a scar down her muzzle. The scar came from a battle while she was defending a couple kits. Her ears are very large, a few tears and nicks are located all over them. Another scar is found between her shoulder, splitting through the line of her fur. She is very sturdy with short legs and a more compact body, giving her a short look.
Although Duskwish does have a frightening appearance, she is actually not that bad. The warrior is very motherly and sweet, loving to handout compliments. She is incredibly caring for those she is close to, or loves. Though Duskwish is very nice, she can be quick to judge. Having a great level of intelligence can make her always think she is right, which can cause her to make decisions poorly.

Leopardfang is a long-legged, tawny she-cat with mottled splotches covering her pelt. Her fur is short and sleek, giving her a slender appearance. Her belly, paws, and muzzle are a slightly lighter, creamier color. Her tail is covered in similar mottled markings until the tip, which is lighter. She has a dark pink nose and a torn left ear, the result of an accident during her apprenticeship. Her eyes are a pale green color. |
Growing up with two brothers, Leopardfang often felt as though she had to prove her worth to the Clan. As a result she is fairly hot-headed and ambitious, wanting to make sure her Clanmates see her as equal to her remaining brother, Ravenheart. Despite this, she is careful not to take things too far and would never willingly hurt another cat.

Honeyshine is a small golden tom. His pelt fluffy and extremely glossy and shiny. He has darker flecks towards his hindquarters and long white 'stockings' on each leg. He has a short and stubby tail that once used to be long- but because of a dog attack. A slash of a scar is located on his chest along with another scar on his lip and some scattered ones on his legs. Lots of nicks and claw marks are located on his ears, along with a bald patch on his upper back. His left hind paw is scarred and always wrapped in cobweb. Unfortunately, this leg is permanently wounded due to an encounter with a speeding monster. Honeyshine has gentle, sparking green eyes with hints of yellow. He is oddly shorter than average and tends to be picked on for not having the most appealing look.
Despite Honeyshine's frighting appearance, his personality can surprise you. He is actually quite sweet and incredibly loving. This tom really does care for his clanmates and their feelings, always one to help with breaking up fights and helping others cope with problems. Although, this warrior is awfully shy and tends to keep to himself. He barely ever talks about himself and can be highly sensitive. Honeyshine doesn't have many friends due to his look and his shy attitude. Either in the medicine cat den or enjoying the weather outside, he is not that social. He can be quite illusive, always taking walks on a trail he made. His fighting skills are amazing when he wants to fight- which is only defending his friends/family. This cat prefers to talk out problems, but that is not always the case. If one of with friends/family is in danger that's when he comes out of his shell and takes serious action. Honeyshine is not very flirtatious and open about his sexuality, the only chance of having a crush on someone would be if they could stare at him without flinching away and having to know him for awhile. He is also known for a series of having bad luck.

Fawndapple is incredibly patient, and it takes quite some time for her to be frustrated. Fawndapple, despite thinking that she's incredibly mature, she has a rather childish humor, and always laughs at the wrong times and is very playful. Fawndapple adores kits, and would love to adopt them at some point, or perhaps tell stories to them once she's an elder.

Ravenheart is covered in the same mottled patches as his sister, though his cover the entirety of his pelt and make him a much darker brown. In sunlight, his markings are much more visible, but at nighttime he often appears to be solid black. He sports the same green eyes. Ravenheart is missing three quarters of his tail due to being caught in a human trap, though it has healed over now and he's left with a stump. He is also considerably larger than Leopardfang.
In comparison to his sister, Ravenheart is relatively calm. His large size makes him a formidable opponent but he has little desire to fight, preferring to devote his time to helping his Clan. Growing up with a sibling like Leopardfang has made him tired of fighting and also increasingly wary. Following the accident that cost him his tail, Ravenheart became even more cautious and reserved.

Ebonytail is a lean, muscular she-cat with shiny, slick black fur. She has big paws and mittens on each of her toes. She has light gray splotches on her pelt and a blank white tail tip. She has a ripped right ear and a scar running down her left leg that I'd pink and healing.
Enonytail is a very strict, but a clumsy cat. She is ahead of herself too much sometimes and can take things way too seriously sometimes. But she loves kits for anything in the world, and she is very daring and outgoing.

With an average size for cats her age, Petalpaw has a skinny build with soft, long fur. It keeps her warm, but a bit of a hassle to care for, so it's often unkempt. Who wants to waste time grooming long fur? Her pelt is a very light shade of gray with darker tabby markings on her face and very faint tabby markings across the rest of her body. A pale pink nose and pink paw pads, with two extra toes on each of her front paws, a condition called polydactyl, which she was born with. It seems to actually help her when she walks across snow. Her eyes are an icy blue color.
Outgoing and social, Petalpaw likes being around crowds and commotion. She's group orientated and often likes to take lead and be the center of attention. She's a doer and aims for the best results, but she seeks immediate results. When something takes time, she tends to get frustrated. Disorganized and messy, she often doesn't think things through. Partly because of her impulsive behavior, she has slightly below-average hunting skills. She likes to be doing something, getting restless when she sits still with nothing to do for too long. It's hard to change her mind once she's decided something. She tries not to let fear get in her way, confident and brave. Another way to put it - she's reckless and doesn't seem to care about watching out for danger. Petalpaw is loyal and loves being in the clan and being around her clanmates, but her respect for laws and traditions sway a bit when it gets in the way of her doing or having something she wants.

Forestpaw is a short furred grey tabby tom. His pelt is slick and shiny with an abnormally long tail. Black stripes cover his back, tail, cheeks and lead down his legs to his white paws. He is quite taller than the rest of the cats his age and has a skinny, lean build. He has amber eyes that are usually lit with excitement and energy.
Forestpaw is very welcoming and patient, making him a very easy apprentice to talk to. Sometimes he can be flirtatious towards shecats his age. He is hardworking and athletic, always wanting to impress other cats who are nearby. Although he has many great traits, all cats have a downside... Forestpaw can be bossy and tends to take over during group activities. Known to be very energetic, Forestpaw can say this without thinking them through. Of course, this can annoy his clan-mates and get him into trouble.

Stonepaw is a tortoiseshell and white cat, her pelt flecked with ginger and black patches. She is relatively small for her age, with long legs compared to the rest of her body. Her fur is of medium length and forms tufts on her ears and cheeks, as well as giving her a fluffier tail. Stonepaw has wide, yellow eyes that always seem to be focused on something around her, as she is easily distracted.
Stonepaw is quiet and often keeps to herself, preferring to spend time alone or with a close friend rather than with a large group of cats. She is easily distracted and is often caught daydreaming by her Clanmates, a habit she tries to break. Stonepaw hopes to help her Clan in any way possible, even if it means stepping out of her comfort zone or focusing harder on her apprentice duties.

She's energetic and always ready for training, but is prone to accidentally hurt herself by being too adventurous. She is also very impatient, and can be edgy. She can't wait to become a warrior so that she can be of more use to the clan.

Bulky brown tom -cat with broad shoulders and short stumpy tail. He has dark amber eyes, a black nose and paw pads. He has very long fluffy fur that puffs out along his chest like a lion's mane. He has short legs and walks with a limp in his hind right leg.
Bearfluff is a calm and gentle tom cat with a soft voice. He is high -energy and loves to hunt, but hates fighting unless he is playing with kits. His patience is never -ending, and he can hang out with the kits all day and not get tired of their crazy stunts. He is very social as well, and loves to gossip with the queens and his sister Brookswirl; He isn't very observant, and has a habit of gossiping about a cat while being unaware that they are in ear shot.

Smokepelt is muscular black smoke Maine Coon she cat with a fluffy tail and copper eyes. She has a fur a mane around her neck. Her black fur has grey going through gradually getting darker till it's all black at the end. She has white fur coming out her ears with random white furs all over.
Smokepelt is a bit rough around the edges and tends to be very over protective of her kits. At times she's fierce and demanding, having a bad habit of being strict. Other times she is calm but if she becomes uneasy she quick to fight. She's still wary about being in a clan so it hard for her to accept some of the rules and other cats.

Nightflower is a mostly pure black cat, the only thing that isn't black are her left paw, a small almost trianular patch on her forehead and the tip of her tail. Her fur is long and rather puffy, sticking in all directions if she doesn't groom herself. But normally she keeps her pelt in line. The she-cat has bright amber colored eyes that are rather intense and usually narrowed like she is judging you.
Nightflower is a rather silent she-cat, unless she is comfortable around you. Then she will talk but she tends to be a cat a few words. She is more of the watch and learn type of cats. But with family and good friends she speaks when spoken to. She is a fierce protector and would die for those she loves even if she doesn't say it.

Tigerkit is a large muscular brown classic tabby and white Maine Coon tom with a fluffy tail and greenish copper eyes, the fur around his neck is like a mane. He has brown fur has with black tabby stripes. He has a white bib, stomach, with his back legs being white and his front paw toes are also white and his tail is a mix of brown and black.
Tigerkit is very adventurous and loves a good challenge, also ambitious but he is willing to listen and talk things out. He’s not demanding but rather easy going, understanding everyone has their limits. He’s merciful but when he runs out of options, he’ll quickly become fierce and lose his temper. He loves to swim around in water and practicing his fighting moves.

Her fur has an overcoat of orange red with markings of cream underneath. She has a white bib, stomach and paws and near the end of her tail is orange cream.
She is calm and carefree, unlike her brothers she isn't quick to lose her temper and wouldn't fight unless its the last option. Flamekit is quite clever and adventurous, she also friendly and outgoing sometimes ends up trusting others too quickly. She was a fear of water but loves to climb trees.

Kaite is a calico cat with black and orange patterns. She has a black collar with her name on it in silver. She's not a huge cat; but she's not a small one either. She's just above medium, and has long legs to match it. Her eyes are a nice shade of green. She's not a bad looking cat. She has a pink nose, along with pink paw pads. Her fur isn't unusually fluffy, but it is when it gets to the tail, where it seems to have extra fur to spare.
This kittypet isn't exactly the nicest to cross. She's usually growling, and just a grumpy and angry cat when she's not around her owner. When the human is around, she's a sweet cat. To her. However, as soon as the human turns her back, she's back to normal. She was a rescue cat that had learned to fight on her days on the streets. She loves to wander around, and even go into the woods when her owner isn't home. She learned to hunt for the sole reason that she enjoys the taste of the prey more than her kittypet food.

Rabbitfoot was a mottled, dark gray-brown tom slightly lighter and smaller than his brother Ravenheart. Rabbitfoot sported a sleek pelt like that of his sister and was the fastest of the three due to his long legs. He had yellow eyes, large, attentive ears and a scar running from his nose to his chin, the result of an encounter with a fox.
Often serving as the peacemaker within his family, Rabbitfoot was relatively laid back and calm. During their apprenticeships, Ravenheart and Leopardfang were constantly competing to be the best warrior possible while Rabbitfoot spent the majority of his time focusing advancing at his own pace. He was friendly and kind, though a bit soft-spoken, and his family will forever miss the his calming presence in their lives.
Rabbitfoot was hunting alone when he accidentally stumbled across a doe and her two fawns. Prey had been running low and a young deer would feed multiple cats. However, as he crept up on the fawn, its mother noticed and gave him and reared up, bringing her hooves down on his head and crushing his skull.

Mossstar was a broad shouldered tom with short, sleek black and grey fur. His base color was grey, and he had large black patches all over his body. He had a black nose and paw pads, and dark green eyes. His back right leg has a scarred set of claw marks on it, there was a thin cut in the middle of his back, and a scarred bite mark on his front right heel. |
Mossstar was strict and blunt, but with a good heart. He only wanted to bring his Clan and family happiness, and tended to overreact when another cat knowingly brought harm or sadness upon another, even if it was small. He was very good with kits and was very happy when he got one of his own, but he tended to neglect his leader duties to be with her. He was rather lazy and chill, but would do his work when reminded by Lightstar.
Mossstar lost his last life when he was hit by a monster.

Lightstar was a golden she –cat with dappled brown spots along her back and flanks. She had caramel colored rims around her spots, and looked quite like a Bengal print, but not quite. She has white socks on all her paws and a blaze between her amber eyes. She had a nick on her left ear, a thick scar across her neck, two thin scars on her chest, and a stump for a tail.
Lightstar was anything but chill. She was a good hunter and fighter, and loved to go on patrols and hunt for her Clan. She was a Teacher before she was a leader, because while she was intense, she understand that other cats have different paces. She was very patient and kind –hearted, loving to teach and spend time with the apprentices and kits. She was over joyed to have her own child, but went right back to her duties as soon as possible, and let Mossstar do most of Feathersplash’s care.
Lightstar lost her last life dramatically fighting an aggressive kittypet.

Two kits named Cinderkit and Riverkit were found by the Thunderpath border. They claim to have came from a Clan called SparrowClan!
ROLE PLAY PLOTS
The Puma:
An old mountain lion used to live in the mountains behind EmeraldClan, and would hunt only in the mountains, and was gratefully referred to as Penda the Puma. But Penda eventually died, and another puma has taken her territory: a young female named Skata, who is adventurous and aggressive, and often wonders down to EmeraldClan territory. She hasn't harmed anyone yet, but there is no telling what will happen in the future.
Hunting Kittypets:
A few miles away from EmeraldClan's territory, down the thunderpath, there is a twoleg place that has lots of kittypets. Some of the kittypets are roaming onto EmeraldClan territory to hunt and explore. EmeraldClan's policies say that they must help any kit or cat in need, but an aggressive kittypet takes the last life of their former leader, Lightstar! Should EmeraldClan drive off all the Kittypets? Should they seek revenge for their leader, even if they don't know which one did it? Meanwhile, Lightstar's killer Kaite (RPed by Frostshade) is still hunting on EmeraldClan territory. |

Tansystar woke early in the morning, stretching out her legs and yawning. It was sun-high, and the fresh kill pile around the ominous cherry tree was empty. I'll go hunting she decided, Tbe warriors can sleep in today. She didn't want to go alone, however, feeling a slight fear of running into Skata -even though she knew it wouldn't happen- so she shoved her head against Froststar's.
"Wake up, mouse -brain." she told her.

Tansystar shrugged, and dropped herself onto Froststar's sleepy body, rolling onto her back and stretching out her legs. "Well, you'll get to spend time with me." she offered lamely, rolling back to Froststar's head. Tansystar patted both her ears with her paws, and then started drumming on her head. "Also, I'm hungry. We're hunting."

Froststar groaned, "Surely you're that hungry," She mewed, and rolled over. "Surely theirs some prey left over from yesterday." She suggested, hoping that Tansystar would allow her to sleep a little longer. She slowly blinked her eyes open, and she lifted her head

"You're right, I am that hungry." Tansystar told her mate, and she glanced out of the den. She could see the Ominous Cherry Tree clearly, and the fresh kill pile was very empty. The circle of rocks and leaves had nothing in it. "And there is no prey! None! We can surprise the warriors with some prey."
She rubbed her head on Froststar's, still trying to awaken her.

Froststar yawned, and rolled her eyes. "Fine. I'll go out and hunt with you," She sighed, very slowly pulling herself up from her nest, and she stretched for a solid 10 or so seconds. Her legs were sore, as the other day she was running around a lot. Froststar stared around the den, and then back to Tansystar. "How early is it anyway?" She said, and than yawned once more.

Tansystar watched and rolled her eyes as Froststar slowly stretched, and as she waited for her to finish, she took the spare decades to quickly smooth her spiky fur. "It's sun high," she told Froststar when she asked, and then walked out of the den, purring at the nice warmth. Amazing~. She saw that no one else was currently awake, so she lowered her voice when she spoke, because she could hear Bearfur snoring nearby.
"We can hunt by the river," she suggested.

Froststar stopped stretching and slowly padded outside of the den, and stared around. She saw that the fresh kill pile was empty. I guess it would be nice to surprise the warriors with prey.. she thought. Froststar nodded, "Yeah, hunting by the river would be nice," She mewed.

"Let's go, then." Tansystar meowed, bounding out of camp, and wiggled out of the hole in the bush to freedom!! She could see the faint outline of the River Rock, and remembered that she'd have to assign someone there later. She trotted a bit down the path, and then waited for Froststar to catch up, and shoveled gravel in her paws while she waited.

Leopardfang crept through the trees, scanning for prey. It was early in the morning but she figured she would get a head start with today's hunting. She raised her head at the sound of a familiar voice, abandoning the sparrow she'd been eyeing and bounding towards the cats. Raising her tail in greeting, the mottled she-cat padded out of the brush and dipped her head to Froststar and Tansystar. "Mind if I join you?" she asked, itching to hunt.

Tansystar smiled when Leopardfang bounded from the forest. She should've guessed that Leopardfang was awake. "Of course you can, Leopardfang." she said, casting a quick glance at Froststar. She doubted that she would refuse, but you never know. "Froststar and I were going to the river. Is that cool with you?"

Froststar was padding behind Tansystar, she was a tad surprised that any other cat was awake at this time. She didn't think any cat would endure such torture. Froststar smiled at Leopardfang.

Leopardfang nodded, "Yes, of course." she replied, falling into step with the two she-cats. It had been a while since she'd visited the river and shivered with excitement. As an apprentice she and her brother had spent countless days swimming and playing in the water, despite most cats seeming to dislike it.

Tansystar smiled when she saw Leopardfang's excitement. "I can see you haven't grown out of your love for water." she quipped, smiling a bit knowingly at Froststar, and then back to Leopardfang. "One might think you a fish if you aren't careful, Leopardfang." She kicked gravel with her paws as she walked.

{{ of course }} Brookswirl woke up with a jolt when she felt sunlight in her eyes. She blinked rapidly, then stared intensely at the rising sun. She must've slept in! She normally woke up first, much sooner than her warrior friends, but she could see that Leopardfang was already gone. She huffed -normally, Tansystar woke her up to patrol, but she must've forgotten. Brookswirl stood up, stretched, and padded out of the den, huffing and mumbling to herself loudly as she went. |

In a burst of speed, Leopardfang bounded a few steps ahead, glancing at Tansystar over her shoulder. "I can't help it," she laughed, shaking her head, "It's been too long since I've gone for a swim." she flexed her claws eagerly, slowing down a bit so she didn't leave her leaders behind.

Foxeyes was just outside of the warriors den, lost in his thoughts as he began to walk forward and bumped into Brookswirl. "Oh!" The tom jumped back, his ear tips burning with embarrassment as he realized who he bumped into. "Sorry! I wasn't watching where I was going." He apologized, dipping his head slightly and hoping that the headstrong she-cat wouldn't mind too much.

Brookswirl answered gruffily, glancing at Foxeyes with annoyance. He was an okay cat but if he kept bumping into her, she'd happily rid him of an ear or two. She supposed this was why her brother was a nursury queen and not her. "Have you seen Leopardfsng? Did she go hunting?" Brookswirl asked. If Leopardfang was hunting, then she could stay at camp. Leopardfang probably would bring back the whole population of mice to one up Ravenheart. |

Hawkeye foxdance Froststar grinned, and nodded, "I'd love to race!" She purred, "As long as you two are prepared to lose!" Froststar said boldly, fluffing out her chest hair, and looking rather confidant. She thought of herself to be quite a speedy cat, and she was sure that she could at least beat Tansystar.

Foxeyes shrugged. "I saw her go out with the Tawnystar and Froststar. I think they were going to the river, but I'm not sure." The tom shrugged before glancing at the tree that sat in the middle of camp; there seemed to be little prey for the time of year. Maybe everyone's just out hunting right now. "Would-uh," He stuttered for a moment. "I mean, the, uh, the fresh kill pile is low and-" Foxeyes dug his claws into his pads. "Do you want to go hunting?"
