I know there's been several of these, but I want to get more in-depth about why people feel a certain way about her. Ya-know, so we can all sort of understand where we're all coming from XD Cause I'm sure not all Millie-lovers hate Blossomfall and enjoy abuse and not all Millie-haters are whiny kids who cry when their toy is taken away. I'm sure we all have our logical reasons that people can respect.
SO, to get to the simple facts and reasons, please fill out this form ^^
1. How do you feel about Millie? Hate? Love? Neutral? Sort of like or sort of dislike? Try to be as specific if you can. 2. Why? Please list the main reasons, but if you have a load of little reasons, that's ok too. 3. How long have you felt this way about Millie? Did you always feel this way about her, or has your opinion of her changed over time? If you can remember, please specifically say when you changed your opinion/ect. 4. Are there any personal experiences you have that are the source/strengthen your opinion of this character? These can be experiences you have had, or experiences you've seen others had. You don't have to say anything you're not comfortable with C:
This is not a debate thread- you're allowed to comment on someone's post and say things like, "that's exactly what I think!" or "wow, I never thought of those points" or things like that. But please no asking to debate, and if you can help it, no irritable shots or jabs at other people. I'm sure we could live without that.
I'll probably post my form later. But yeah, have it XD

1. I like Millie.
2. I thought Millie was an interesting character and I like how she helped Graystripe get home. I don't care too much for her as a mother, though.
3. I've always felt this way about her.
4. No personal experiences.

I am neutral on Millie because some days I like her, other days, I'm not so keen on her (so borderline dislike to borderline like).
I like Millie because she's the better mate for Graystripe and I hate Graystripe because he takes Millie and the 3B's for granted. Anyways, I like the manga-Millie: She's fierce, loyal, determined, kind, and caring, and all the personality that comes along with it. And I borderline-dislike Millie for being a tad bit too attached to Briarlight and ignoring her other two kits. But at the same time, I cannot blame her for doing so! She was a kittypet. She's used to her injuries/sickness being cured. She's a first time mother. She and Briarkit almost died of sickness. Briarlight could have died many times in the past and her accident is the biggest one because it's PERMANENT DAMAGE THAT SHE WILL NEVER GET CURED FROM. Millie has reason to pay attention to Briarlight (but at the same time, briarlight could have told millie she was fine and could exercise on her own, so its partly briarlights fault too, but still...). Once you become a warrior, you're considered an adult. Let's forget the human ages. In their society, warriors should be responsible for the well being of themselves and their clanmates if they are together (pairs, patrol, etc.). Both Blossomfall and Bumblestripe were perfectly healthy as kits, had no accidents, and are now warriors who are able to take care of themselves. In their society, this is acceptable. I feel the need to defend Millie for being the better mate for graystripe, but I feel guilty because literally everyone else around me hates millie's guts and i think they will hate me for defending her actions and mentality. But I do NOT condone abusive parents, it's just that I think Blossomfall deserved to be yelled at because she was being foolish and dumb for indangering herself and her clanmate. Millie must have expected more from Blossomfall because unlike briarlight, blossomfall is a contributing member of the clan: she's perfectly healthy and a capable warrior. there's no reason for Millie to think Blossomfall would be so immature.

1. How do you feel about Millie? Hate? Love? Neutral? Sort of like or sort of dislike? Try to be as specific if you can. Neutral, like sometimes.
2. Why? Please list the main reasons, but if you have a load of little reasons, that's ok too. I loved her in the mangas and PoT, but OotS. Don't think I need to say much about that. She was great with Minty and Stormcloud in BrS though. So my overall opinion is an..average? of how my opinion of her changes throughout the series.
3. How long have you felt this way about Millie? Did you always feel this way about her, or has your opinion of her changed over time? If you can remember, please specifically say when you changed your opinion/ect. When I first read the series, the Millie/Blossomfall scene didn't affect me very much. I just thought something like "harsh" and moved on. So I've never had a strongly negative opinion of Millie. I've felt this way about Millie for several months. Before, I just liked Millie.
4. Are there any personal experiences you have that are the source/strengthen your opinion of this character? These can be experiences you have had, or experiences you've seen others had. You don't have to say anything you're not comfortable with C: What Millie said to Blossomfall is something like my mom or grandfather (more my grandfather than my mom though) would say in that situation. This is probably why I don't hate Millie, and why that scene didn't bother me.
