Deadpaw blinked hearing Shellstream, he only turned his head to look back at her and flicked his ear rather awkwardly, "Hello Shellstream." He mewed slowly, "Um...How are you?"
Frostlake was sitting near Ivymask and heard her scowl, she followed her gaze over to Deadpaw and smiled softly.

"Fair enough," she mewed in response. "The Sunningrocks battle was pretty bad..." Shellstream looked as if she was going to say something else, but stopped herself. I can't tell him that Earthstar lost a life, she thought to herself. He's in a different Clan now. "What about you?"

Deadpaw flicked an ear, it was hard to tell what he thought of the battle, but it was easy to see something was upsetting him, "I'm ok." He replied, he glanced over at Splashecho, who was sitting a few paces away, "I'm learning a lot in SkyClan." he added with a mutter, But I'm no good at it.

"That's good." Shellstream nodded. "Splashecho's your mentor, I assume? She's fair, right?" she asked, momentarily turning to see if a leader was going to speak. "Is something bugging you?"

"Splashecho's great." Deadpaw mewed, but he didn't look at her. Splashecho was also his cousin, the daughter of Creeksplash, and with him being the son of Adderstar and Robinstar, Spiritstar couldn't really give him to anyone else, "I see Ivymask and Dewdrop are warriors now." he mewed slowly, "You'll have to pass on my congratulations to them."

Obsidianflower sighed softly and got to her paws raising her voice a bit to be heard over the chatter "There's really not much to say besides Skyclan's faring well and pray is plentiful." She mewed calmly, scanning over the cats spotting Deadpaw in the back.

Lightningstar stepped forward to speak. "Thunderclan is doing well. Prey is running well for it being so close to leaf bare. We have 3 new apprentices, Deerpaw, Cricketpaw, and Ryepaw. We also have many new warriors! Mistlight and Brokenwing relieved their warrior names along with Nighteye, Flashfire, Shadeclaw, Cometblaze, Snowdrop, and Glassflower. Seafoam also gave birth to two kits! Southkit and Cloudykit. We are doing well and will hopefully continue to do so as leafbare approaches."

Cloudscar looked back at Northstar, and sighed. He knew that she knew...or at least suspected. Glancing over at Sagefoot he sighed. "I should go...I don't like the look Northstar's giving me." He stood, shook out his fur a bit and padded away from his daughter, trying not to look as sad as he felt

Shellstream blinked, suspecting. Spiritstar was gone during the previous gathering as well. Being busy didn't seem like a well enough excuse. That or she wants Obsidianflower to be ready for leadership, she mused to herself. She glanced around, noticing how calm the SkyClan cats seemed to be. "I guess so." Shellstream meowed in response. "Is it time to go?"
