Sagefoot beamed "I have two younger siblings now! Firekit, a little she-kit and Goldkit a tiny tom. They were only just born, barely opened their eyes yet."

While Diamondheart had spotted Deadpaw, the deputy did not gaze at him, wanting to focus on the leaders. He hoped Venompaw would stay close to him and not focus on her brother too much...

Earthstar nodded in approval at the report.
Icepath got up to sit next to Shininglight, giving Redtooth a glance as she did so. "Hi." she meowed, curling her tail over her paws.
Shellstream slipped away from her Clan towards where the SkyClan cats were, trying to appear casual.

Swiftstar stepped forward. "WindClan is thriving! We have new warriors, apprentices and kits! While we mourn the loss of Sparrowwing, who was taken to StarClan from greencough, we celebrate our new warriors, Grasslight, Stonepath, Russetpelt and Whispersong! I am also proud to announce that we have four new apprentices as well! Fawnpaw, Dustpaw, Cloverpaw and Wolfpaw have all begun their apprenticeship, and WindClan looks forward to their progress! Swallowfeather has also had her second litter of kits, Firekit and Goldkit! WindClan is thriving as we head towards leaf bare, and prey is abundant!"

Fallowmeadow was bursting with pride as her mate called their kits names.
Sagefoot purred "They're both adorable. Goldkit has Swallowfeather's eyes and fur color except he has a white underbelly and white paws and white muzzle. Firekit is more reddish with white paws and tail tip, but her eyes are blue."

Cloudscar was excited to hear the news, but at the same time his heart broke. These kits would never knows him....not in the way kits should know their father. He tried to contain his upsetness though and continued on. "They sound perfect. Your parents must be proud." He said

Sagefoot nodded, "Yes.. yes they're very proud." a sense of guilt washing over her. She never realized how lonely her father must be in Shadowclan by himself, his whole family was living in another clan together. She frowned, wanting nothing else than to press against her father, like she should be able to, but she knew she couldn't.

Cloudscar looked up at Northstar, hoping that his leader had somehow missed the announcement of his kits...she had forbade him from seeing Swallowfeather ever again...and obviously he hadn't done that. HE took in a deep breath and looked over at Sagefoot. "Well I'm glad to hear your family is doing well." He couldnt bring himself to look her in the eye

Sagefoot nodded "When the half-moon is up, the kits should be getting strong, could probably walk a fair distance." she mewed softly, looking down at her paws. "They'll still be really tiny, but they'll love to go on adventures."

Northstar blinked slowly hearing Swiftstar's report. She glanced over at the WindClan leader when she heard about Swallowfeather, before her eyes found Cloudscar in the crowd, narrowing slightly with suspicion.

Deadpaw still didn't look up. He was actually keeping his eye focused down on the ground before him. He knew no one wanted to speak with a cat like him and he really didn't want to speak to anyone either.

Shellstream looked for Deadpaw, finally spotting his pelt. Glad he was here. she began to approach.
Earthstar stepped forward. "RiverClan is doing well." he began. "Prey is plentiful, as usual, and we have two new warriors, Dewdrop and Ivymask! We have not been bothered by twolegs, though we went into battle for Sunningrocks with ThunderClan." he glared at Lightningstar. "Despite this fight, RiverClan will not falter, and we wish for continuing moons of peace. That is all for RiverClan." Ducking his head, Earthstar stepped backward, done.

(Hey, I usually have more to report than what I did...)
Deadpaw wasn't looking at anyone , just the ground, however hearing Earthstar speak of the new warriors his eye looked sharply up at the leader. Ivypaw and Dewpaw were warriors already too?" were he able to lash his tail, he would've whipped it in frustration. He would be a warrior by now if he weren't in the pitiful state he was in. Deadpaw flattened his ears and looked back at the ground when Earthstar continued, he was glad RiverClan was doing ok, he had to admit he felt a pang of worry when Earthstar said they went into battle with ThunderClan. Maybe if I were there I would've been able to fight? He asked himself, Maybe I could have proven myself to them and I would become a warrior like Ivymask and Dewdrop... Before the gathering he had told himself that he wouldn't look for them. That he wouldn't look for Venompaw or Shellstream, they wanted nothing to do with him, just like Earthstar didn't when he had been forced to leave RiverClan, but right then and there his blue eye was slowly trying to steal glances at the RiverClan cats, looking for the pelts of those that were once his sister and his best friend.

Shellstream was about to call his name, but stopped at his state. Did something happen to him in SkyClan? She frowned, worry twisting inside her. After Deadpaw left RiverClan, he never seemed happy, despite what he had said earlier. She let out a sigh, continuing until she was next to him. "Deadpaw?" she mewed softly, gazing at him.

Ivymask saw Shellstream go over and scowled in annoyance. She deserved better than a deserter. The new warrior did not look over again, hoping Shellstream did not let her former care for Deadpaw cloud her judgement or loyalty.
