SkyClanWhitesun narrowed his eyes Goldberry and tilted his ears back, "I don't want to hear it! Enough of your excuses, Goldberry. I saw the look in your eyes that day. Nothing you say can make me believe that wild story you and your Clan spun." He hissed quietly to him, the fur on his shoulders starting to bristle slightly. He turned his head when he saw movement on the Great Rock and turned away, looking over his shoulder at the large tom, "I don't ever want to see you anywhere near my family again. I won't tolerate it, I don't care if it's a full moon or not." He said with a growl and lashed his tail once before he pushed back through the crowd towards the other deputies. Whisperstone glanced over at the Great Rock nervously when he spotted movement and lowered his voice to a quiet and urgent whisper, "I know that, but what do you think will happen to us once they find out? You know how the Clans are! Sure, it's not our fault that they broke the warrior code, but others won't see it that way! They'll think that our very existence is wrong and take it out on us!" He said, not liking the idea of his clan possibly turning their backs on him and his siblings. ThunderClan & SkyClan"Nothing to be sorry about." Blackfire reassured her, following her gaze to the RiverClan cats. "I honestly agree with you. It looks like RiverClan's rivers have been plentiful this season." She fell quiet and looked up at the Great Rock as the leaders got ready to start the meeting, her ears perking up to listen. Owlfrost gave Mothsong a light nudge, giving her a look, "Now was that so hard?" He asked her quietly, a teasing look in his eyes. RiverClanArcticpaw nodded her head, "I've heard those stories too. They told us about them in the nursery." she said with a shiver, "But I've also heard about a waterfall at the edge of our territory before. I've never actually gone to see if it was real though." Goldberry bristled, wanting to call after the Skyclan deputy, but deflating with a quiet curse to himself. There was no way that Whitesun would ever believe him. He looked up at the sky, praying that Silversting and all the other cats he had been forced to kill knew how much he still ached about it, how much he wished he had been stronger. He closed his eyes, no longer very interested in the gathering anymore. Mothsong offered Owlfrost a faintly surprised look. That… hadn’t been so bad after all! She nodded lightly, before she looked up at Lightningstar to hide the growing awkward expression that crossed her face. “The others will thank us for clearing them out! This isn’t some border fling between two Warriors, our mother is a medicine cat! From another Clan! You and I both know that it’s the most severe form of this kind of code-break! The Clan will judge us either way!” Echowing was growing more sharp, her voice betraying her frayed pain and cold anger. “Nobody will harm you, Whisperstone. Not while I’m here… I promise.” She urged. |

Sproutpaw dipped his head in greeting as Hawkpaw and Specklepaw joined him. "Hello, I'm Sproutpaw." he whispered as his gaze flickered up to Lightningstar. "I'm from Riverclan, this is my first gathering!"
Specklepaw bounced excitedly as Lightningstar stepped up to the front of the great rock. She couldn't wait to hear about all the other clans. This was so much better than training!

Wind: Swiftstar nodded to Lightningstar, motioning for the leader to start with his tail."Go right ahead Lightningstar." Larkpaw grinned as she caught Lightningstar moving out of the corner of her eye. "I think it's starting!" River: Stormsplash's ears flattened, his face stricken at Splashstone's words. "You can't mean that... Where else would you go? Your sisters, do they feel this way too?" he asked, voice shaking. “No… I’m the only one that feels this way. Jasmineheart, Furyflame, they know who they are, they are home in Windclan.” Splashstone assured lightly. “I don’t know where I’d go. I just want to feel… good again.” He mewed hopelessly, desperate for anything, any rush at this point. |

ThunderClan"I was apprenticed after the last gathering, so I've only been an apprentice for about a moon now." Sootpaw mewed, giving a light shrug, "I suppose that would count me as a fairly new apprentice." Marshpaw flicked his eyes back up to the great rock as the leader's began to stir. Without the starting howl, he continued with sincere curiosity, "Were you there when our warriors visited your camp?" |

Cedarstar flicked his ear twice when Lightningstar stepped forward. He didn't say anything and looked out at all the cats gathered. All Lightningstar had to do was stand up and he got the attention of many in the crowd. 'Just goes to show how respected of a leader he is,' Cedarstar thought to himself. Northstar has that ability too. Cedarstar flicked his ear twice in betrayal of his doubt. He figured it would be a long time until cats viewed him that way, if at all. 'I need to focus,' Cedarstar scolded himself. He had to be ready to give a report, but his anxiousness was betrayed in his tail flick. 'What happened this past moon?' He asked himself.

Eclipsesky turned to look at Spiderbite in surprise, "By the cliffs, Starclan what was she doing out there? I'm glad you handled it well though and all the kits are alive and healthy. Briarpatch is as well I assume? You should be proud of yourself Spiderbite." he replied softly. Sorrow filled his chest as he took in the young medicine cat, he saw so much of his old self in Spiderbite, where had he gone wrong? He hoped he could slip back into the crowd before Swiftstar's announcement. He wasn't sure he could bear to watch Spiderbite's disappointment. here's this for you moon :3 ) |

Spiderbite partially shrugged, trying to hide that Eclispesky's praise was a big deal, but his chest puffed with pride. "Briarpatch is fine. She and Flarestorm wouldn't stop going on strolls outside the camp. I kept telling them to take it easy. Clearly, they didn't listen."

Stormsplash was silent for a moment, gathering the courage to say what he would like to. "Y-you could come to Riverclan?" he said quickly, voice barely above a whisper. He stared at Splashstone nervously, heart pounding in his chest. He knew he had to accept whatever his son said, but he couldn't help but hope he would say yes. "I can talk to Earthstar, I'll tell him everything. He would let you stay." Splashstone stiffened at that, eyes widening as he breathed out. “But… if they found out, you would be in trouble. I…” He swallowed, not wanting to be the reason that his father was punished. With how content Stormsplash seemed though… Splashstone couldn’t help but feel a prickle of longing. Stormsplash flicked his tail, looking unbothered. "If I get punished, that is my burden to bear. I have been loyal to Riverclan my whole life and have been respected as a senior warrior. Riverclan will get over it. Also, my younger sister Littleshadow, her mate Owlwhisker came from the twolegplace. He wasn't a good swimmer when he joined either, but we taught him. I will teach you too. We don't always fish either, you could hunt on land still. Prey is prey."

She let out a content sigh, looking up at the leaders on the Great Rock. "Isn't it nice, so many cats getting along like this?" Before he could reply, she added, "I hope your clan has been recovering well. I'm sure it must be quite the adjustment after the fire." |

If he joined Riverclan… it would mean leaving his sisters and Windclan behind. He didn’t hate his Clan, he never had… but he had never truly felt like a Windclan cat, too large to run on the moors, and too heavy to fit in the narrower tunnels. If he told Swiftstar… would Windclan let him go? “…Can I think about it?” He asked lightly. “Maybe in a moon’s time, I… I can say for sure.” |

She tried not to think about how she no longer could hear Starclan, ever again. She hadn’t even told Snowdance yet… |

Lightningstar glanced between the leaders a moment. He saw no protest so he nodded and stepped up to the edge of the great rock. “Thunderclan has been recovering well since the fire.” He spoke with a slight glance towards Cedarstar. No thanks to their warning. “Since green leaf is here the forest has been growing back and prey is returning.”

Flurrypaw watched Lightningstar speak excitedly.

Snowflower grew alert as the leaders began.
Smokestream and Slatefur turned to watch the Great Rock.
Marshpaw’s tail lashed from side to side briefly. He’d hardly had a moment to chat with the other apprentices. Taking a deep breath, he dutifully paid attention. With a little luck, there would be more announced than just boring old kit updates and talk about loners and kittypets.

Whitesun joined the other deputies as the meeting started, giving a nod of greeting to the others as he did.
Hawkpaw mewed a hello to Sproutpaw and settled down next to Specklepaw, turning her gaze to the Great Rock.
Sootpaw had been about to respond when Lightningstar begun speaking and sat down to watch, an excited look on his face.
Owlfrost’s whiskers twitched in amusement at the look on Mothsong’s face, turning to listen to Lightningstar’s report.
“Spiderbite, Eclipsesky.” Snowdance mewed in greeting to the other two medicine cats as they finally appeared, “I was wondering where you two were.” She added before falling silent as the meeting begun.
Whisperstone fell quiet when Lightningstar begun to speak, glancing over at Echowing every once in awhile. “I just feel like maybe we should think this over a bit longer, that’s all.” He murmured quietly, still feeling unsure of her plan.

"I think it's real, but it's always so misty over there. Do you think anyone has ever tried to see it up close?" Gustpaw speculated, whispering quietly since Lightningstar had started speaking. Maybe there were some rocks that led down to the waterfall. "I'd like to see it if it is real."
RiverClan
Glacierpaw flicked his ear. Was there another side to his mentor, or was he just smarter than him? He glanced at him for a moment before turning to look at the leaders.
Slatesight curled his tail around his paws and waited to hear Lightningstar's report.
ShadowClan
"It is," Cinderspeck purred in agreement, finding himself feel more at ease now that Snowflower seemed to be kind. "And yeah. The fire was... awful." he shuddered. "We're recovering as best we can. I think Cedarstar will speak for all of us just by looking at him."
Everyone Else
All my other cats grew quiet to listen.

The old leader continued speaking after a few moments. “We have many new warriors in the clan. Eclipsestorm, Mossfoot,Specklefrost, Swallowcry, Forestblaze, Gustfury, and Chestnutfur have all earned their warrior names.” He paused for a minute, allowing the other clans to cheer for the new warriors. After a few moments he continue. “Sootpaw, Hollowpaw, Patchpaw, Stumpaw, Drizzlepaw and Flurrypaw all reached the age of six moons and have been assigned mentors.” He spoke, once again pausing for cheers. “Finally, Squrrieltail had Blizzardstorm’s kits. Laceheart and Bokenwing have both moved to the nursery expecting kits.” He moved to step back, finishing his report.

Snowflower didn't cheer loudly, but she waved her tail happily in excitement.

Cedarstar glanced at Lightningstar and how easily the old tom made his report. That was a lot of new warriors and apprentices for ThunderClan. He supposed he was glad they were doing well enough. Cedarstar watched the reactions of the crowd. Just because Lightningstar didn't report much, didn't mean that not a lot happened, Cedarstar's own report would be the same. So much happened in the past moon. Yet, he wouldn't tell all of it.

Hornetstrike cheered brightly for all the new apprentices and Warriors, giving his brother a small smirk. Thunderclan wasn’t doing so bad, with that many new ranks!
Hickoryshade narrowed her eyes, not liking how it was clear they were hiding that Skyclan and Thunderclan were working together. If anything, it should inspire more unity in the clans, just as Eelshock described. She mutedly cheered for her clanmates

RIVERCLAN:
Diamondheart waited for Lightningstar to step back. Technically, in terns of ages, it would now be Earthstar’s turn. Diamondheart moved to step forwards, glancing once at the leaders before focusing his gaze back on the crowd of cats below him. Well. It was now or never, and he only hoped that his voice would be well recieved.
“Riverclan is faring well in this past moon. Fish have returned in abundance as the weather has warmed, though more importantly, we have plenty of Warriors and Apprentices to be recognized. Iciclestep, Swanflight, Salmonsplash, Koishade, Birchtail, Snowflower, Bubblebrook, Fluffcloud, Applebreeze, and Sweetberry have all received their Warrior names.” The deputy took a breath, before continuing.
“Stormpaw, Puddlepaw, Airpaw, Glacierpaw, Lakepaw, Mintpaw, Maskpaw, and Marshpaw have all begun their apprenticeships. Minnowtail and Orchidnight have delivered their kits, and Littleshadow is currently expecting kits as well.”
He paused to allow for any cheering, though he was not finished. Now, he would report the most important part of what Riverclan had to offer, as it would involve all Clans to look into. He knew Earthstar had discussed it with him, and that they were going to mention the mysterious fur no matter who stood upon the rock to announce it.
Bubblebrook puffed her chest proudly as her father called her new name. It was thrilling to see him up there, speaking with such confidence. She hoped she could be that composed one day!
Ospreystrike and Foxripple cheered for their Clanmates, Foxripple’s eyes flickering knowingly to Glacierpaw.
