Silverfox raised her head proudly as Lightningstar called her name and ther others out. She cheered for the new apprentices as well, despite their little outburst with the ShadowClan apprentices.

Gustpaw pouted as he looked at Flashfire. “But they had no right to call out our honor like that.” He complained to his mentor. Surely she understood right? Tigerpaw glanced at Featherfoot, scraping the ground with his claws. “Yea yea. I’m sure I’ll be cleaning the elders den for moons.” He muttered half to himself. Flashfire shook her head. "Then you should let them look foolish by themselves. By yelling like that in front of the other clans you make Thunderclan look like they can't control their apprentices." |

Russetshade and Kinkfire refrained from cheering for the THunderClan warriors, each still sour at how Lightningstar blamed ShadowClan.
Tumblefoot cheered a little for the ThunderClan cats. he didn't want there to be bad tensions between the Clans.
Thrushwing and Sootclaw cheered for their clanmates, each still eyeing ShadowClan.
Palepaw sat next to his mother and bitterly looked away from Lightningstar and the ThunderClan cats. Stupid kittypets don't know what they're talking about when they insult us.
Cedarstar continued to remain silent, his ears pulled back still as Lightningstar continued.

Russetfox lifted her chin happily at being named a warrior. She wanted to have this moment even though things had soured quickly between the clans.
Swiftsun cheered for the Thunderclan news. He was unbothered by the tension.
Oakstalk grumbled a congratulations. He was annoyed though at Thunderclan’s foolishness.
Gustpaw just quieted, knowing his mentor was right. He shouldn’t have said anything but it wasn’t fair! He dug his claws into the ground and mumbled. “I’m sorry.”
Lightningstar stepped back when the cheers died, not having anything else to say.

Burninghope followed Tumblefoot's suit, not one to stay angry for long. She may have been a young Warrior, but she knew she was above apprenticeship arguments. Besides, at the very least, he had not seen Dawnpaw join in at all, and the new Warriors all seemed pretty strong and respectable. She had always liked gatherings with Frostmoon, Silverfox and Russetfox.
Dawnpaw puffed his chest, his embarrassment fading away as he looked proud of his apprenticeship. Even Scarletpaw lifted her chin strongly again, daring anyone to challenge her apprenticeship.

Lightningstar added before he stepped back because Fox is stupid. “Also lastly, Sunthroat has decided to retire as deputy and spend his last few moons before the elders den as a warrior.” He spoke. “As such, the new deputy of Thunderclan is Ghostscreech.”

Sunthroat gave a light smile as Lightningstar announced his retirement from deputy. He flicked his tail before murmuring to Laceheart, “I’m not that old. He makes it sound like I’m halfway into the elders den.” He said.
Ghostscreech lifted his head when his new position was reported to the clans. He kept his expression calm and serious, wanting to prove he was worthy of being ThunderClan’s deputy.

Laceheart purred at Sunthroat's remark. "Oh come on now, you should've been in the elders den moons ago...you're just a bag of skin and bones at the moment." She said giving him a joking nudge.

Frostmoon lifted her voice up for Ghostscreech, cheering her support for the tom from her spot near Silverfox and Russetfox.
Blacktail nodded once, joining in with a calm rumble of a cheer. Diamondheart was more vocal, a bit strange to not be sitting near Sunthroat, but a change he did not find any fault with. So long as Ghostscreech was willing to work hard in his position.

Cedarstar blinked slowly when he heard Lightningstar's last report. He slowly looked over at the deputies, keeping his movement as limited as possible. He hadn't realized Lightningstar got a new deputy. He didn't think Sunthroat would've ever stepped down.
Thrushwing and Sootclaw cheered for the new deputy. Some ShadowCLan cats muttered congratulations.

Maplepaw had watched the apprentice's scuffle, narrowing his gaze. Cedarstar isn't some kit in distress, he thought, tail lashing, he can defend his own honour. It's his fault if he makes a fool of himself. He knows how to handle it. He joined in the announcement celebration, meowing the new names in his dull, tired voice.

Earthstar stepped forward after Lightningstar was finished, ready to report. He was glad that Spiritstar had offered to go first, but ThunderClan's quarrel with ShadowClan meant the atmosphere was now tense. He hoped his report would mitigate some of the tension and lead the gathering back into a peaceful one. "RiverClan, too, has suffered from the fire." he began. "While our camp was protected by the river, we still suffered losses. Rosefrost, Sootfeather, Echosplash, Coppershade, and Mossclaw were all lost in the fire." He went quiet after naming off the lost cats. Earthstar gave no details on how they were lost or the situation with the fire patrol.
Winterfrost, Shellstream and Koipaw bowed their heads in respect for their lost Clanmates.

Ottermask lightly winced at the mention of their fallen clanmates. It was his fault, after all that they were dead. RiverClan likely wouldn't have had any losses if he hadn't taken out that patrol.
Cedarstar idly glanced at Earthstar, finding it interesting that RiverClan lost more cats than SkyClan. he figured the river would've protected them more.
Deadpath bowed his head for his lost clanmates.
My cats from ShadowClan, ThunderClan, and RiverClan remained quiet. However, Russetshade and Kinkfire seemed put off that RiverClan lost so little.

Diamondheart’s head dipped lightly as the names of his clanmates were called. Orchidnight’s eyes grew dull and almost cold as she glanced towards Ottermask, a twinge of blame towards him for the death of her mother.

Thawfrost didn’t deserve her anger. He hadn’t led her mother to her death, he hadn’t done anything wrong. Her ears fell as she sniffed lightly. “I miss her...I miss her so much...” |

Lightningstar dipped his head to the Riverclan leader at the loss of their clanmates. The fire spared no one it seemed, not even those protected by the river.
Reedheart stared at his paws. If only he had done more to help. Maybe they wouldn’t have lost so many. He half growled to himself.

Specklecreek's throat tightened at the mention of her mother, and she glanced down at her paws to keep herself from tearing up. If only I could have saved them she thought.

Littleshadow moved closer to Owlwhisker at the mention of her mother, lowering her head to look down at her paws.
Stormsplash and Tinypool looked up to the stars together from where they sat with Splashstone, hoping their fallen clanmates were doing well in Starclan, hoping Echosplash was healthy and young again.
Duskpaw huffed quietly from where she sat with Cliffheart. "It's not fair!" she mewed quietly, her voice full of frustration. "Why did our clan suffer so much?"
