These last few pages have been great--very pretty aurora! So for the first time a few days ago I finally watched Brother Bear, and I have to say that I can now appreciate the influences its given you for this comic and the song choices you pick. Amazing movie! (And your comic is amazing too  |

Oh my gosh Nightstar and Lavenderstar just lo9king over their shoulders at each other as their clans go their separate ways. Aah I don’t know why I love that so much but I do. Perfect small detail.
And heya, I missed some fun stuff while I was gone like Hunger games simulators? Those always amuse me and that one was no exception. The post about your brother amused me as well, lol.
But wow! We’re so so close to the end! It’s been awesome watching your progression throughout the comic, Hawky. I remember I was like “wHAT Hawky changed her STYLE? WHAT” when you switched around their apprenticeship scene, but now you’re OWNING that new style and it’s AWESOME. It’s been a fun journey, and I’m so happy that I got the chance to see a revamp of your original comic! I’d never gotten to read the original and so that was awesome. And I’m really hyped to see what you’ve cooked up for Comic Six! <3

i also changed my avatar 'cause i do that every time I start a new comic. it's okay, no one panic
(i think this was my first icon on the original WCF, I used the wayback machine/internet archive and the old urls that I have saved from the original original site that the original YY was on, and this was my icon. if not, it's close enough and full of nostalgia)

when local wcf user hawktalon manages to finish her comic in less than 140 pages meanwhile you're on page 142 and only done with a fraction of the first act of the thing  how does one manage to make a simple plot??? hmm (I'm trying to draw skull man rn but I'm not at my computer so he has to wait. I'm trying to play around with character shapes and different body shapes so it's kind of an experimental thing, but I might draw him in my more normal style as well. idk why but I like really jerky characters lmao) |

The epilogue was so sweet as well, agh Beeclaw is such a goof I love her. And the fact that Yangspirit's son is named Stonekit will never cease to make me go "aww how sweet" because I love that so much.
The Stonepaw SE makes me sad even though I knew it was coming, though. It's pretty heartbreaking to see The Boi consumed with anger like that. ;; (although,, my sisters and I were giggling a little bit over his evil grin in the last panel oops)
I wonder what he thought when he saw Yang's son? Like "wot why is this kid named after me what a pitiful apology" or something? Cue even more anger?
