Masaki didn't take Ursa's obvious bait and laughed "We both know all your Captain has got going for him is brute strength. Raiden can wipe the floor with him if he really wants to" he said. When he saw some of his crewmates trying to attack the two he was going up against, a look of annoyance spread across his face Looks like those guys are getting half portions for disobeying an order he thought to himself. "Like I'd let you touch another one of my friends" he yelled as a tendril came out from him. Haki enveloped it as it went to strike at Shuji's side. As Ursa swung her hammer at him he reached up a hand "When your up against someone as strong as me then you should really use haki on this weapon of yours" he said as he caught it and started to dig his fingers into the metal
"Damn right about that. You still need to learn how to say no to your sister every now and then" Raion said "I swear whenever me and her get into some disagreement you always side with her even when she is wrong"

Buster Call Alrighty, maybe she could come report in to Melody or something? Up to you tho~]] Also, I believe we were gonna have one or two of our lovely Revolutionaries get captured as well? Perhaps Nakazo and Hayle? It would be kinda ironic if Ari got captured lol]]
Melody was about to speak to Marcus when another marine came running up to her. "Admiral! We have a more detailed report on the sinking ship! They say a hole just spontaneously burned through their hull! They tried everything to stop it, but before anyone could even get down to try repairing it, they had already taken on too much water." There was a crack in the admiral's stoic face. Many more followed it. "Wonderful. Someone new has arrived to the scene. This operation was supposed to be top secret, yet we have all sides joining in," she growled. "Want me to go deal with 'em?" Dash piped up. "No," came the immediate response. "If they can burn through one of our ships that fast then you won't be able to win." "I appreciate the vote of confidence, ma'am." "Bounty hunter." Melody turned her icy gaze on Marcus. "I am adding a target to your hit list. I will make your contribution known to my superiors so you may receive proper compensation. Dash, you assist him." Her tone didn't leave room for questions.
As Ari stood atop the escaping ship full to the brim with refugees he narrowed his amber eyes and surveyed the state of the conflict around them. Luckily, not too much of the fire from the marine ships had been concentrated on this one just yet. It seemed for now they were intent on completely destroying the chunk of earth that these innocent people had called home. Not wanting to settle in to this seemingly good luck too soon he kept searching, still feeling that something was off. Something had changed. However, from where he was, he could not tell exactly what it was.
Hayle emerged from the dome of snow breathing hard and leaning most of his weight on his weapon which he had stuck into the wooden ship. Even without physically going to go check, the mink could tell the ship was going down and there was no way to save it. At least he didn't have a devil fruit ability to worry about... but this still would effectively make him a sitting duck, and Ari was too far away to even risk trying to come for him.

Shichibukai Alrighty~]]
Coby neatened the stack of papers a little and cleared his throat to signal for everyone to pay attention. "First, I apologize for the late start. The Fleet Admiral was supposed to be leading here today but had some important business to attend to, and I was already on my way here," he announced first. "I also want to thank everyone for coming in today." He glanced down at the papers and his expression grew more serious. "The first matter for this meeting has to do with two of the Yonkou, namely "Thunder Beast" Raiden and "Demon of the West" Tatsuo. We had gotten word of an alleged meeting between the two crews, but a recent update has informed us that this meeting has turned into an all out battle between the Thunder Beast Pirates and the Demon Pirates."
Arana raised an eyebrow. "Ha, so they've finally clashed with each other? About time," she murmured. She smirked and languidly waved a hand in a dismissive manner. "I say let them fight. They'll likely end up destroying each other." She shrugged. "Less competition then~"
~~~
Wano
"Of course Tatsuo has brute strength! How else could he be a yonkou??" Shuji blurted out back at Masaki. Then he saw the tendril aimed right for him. He let out a grunt of surprise and held up his haki-coated pincers to protect himself as he braced for the impact. Even through the extra defense, the young pirate felt quite a sting on one forearm as he was hit and knocked back a bit. Shuji's tail helped him keep balance and right as he regained his composure he reached out to grab the tendril in his claws.
Calli continued her strumming but Scarlet stopped her humming along to look at Bucky with a grin - though not before shooting a look to Kyoden to keep from snapping at the newbie. "Yup! I'm really excited! I've always been told stories about it but now it's finally happening!" she cheered, clasping her hands together. "I've heard that Mermaid Island is really pretty too," Calli chimed in. "It must be so cool to live under the ocean~" "Not if you have a devil fruit..." Kyoden muttered. He was only half paying attention to the conversation, really, and was mostly just watching the ship. Scarlet gave him a flick on the shoulder. "Oh come on, Kyo, dream a little!"
Olivier chuckled again. "I know, I know, you don't need to keep telling me that," he replied. "I will work on it, I promise." He crossed his arms and tapped his finger against one arm. "It's just hard to say no to family, I suppose."
(Ah yea, she’d probably do something like that lol)
Instead of returning to the ship she came in on, Kuren changed her direction and instead decided to check in with the Admiral in charge, Melody. With the arrival of the revolutionaries, the Buster Call seemed to have failed in its intended goal. As she landed on the hull of the ship, she took notice that the admiral seemed to be speaking with someone she didn’t recognize. They didn’t look like a marine, so perhaps they were something else. Didn’t matter too much to her though, it wasn’t her job to care.
(I sometimes can’t fathom how tall Kuren is, since she’s part long-leg and snakeneck XD)
~~~ Matogai raised a brow at the news, a bit surprised to hear something like that was going on. A full blown fight between Yonkou wasn’t something that happened often. No wonder the Navy seemed so paranoid. “Isn’t letting them fight a good thing for you guys? It’s kind of stupid we need to be in a meeting because of something like that.”
“Take this seriously, Patchwork Devil” Oren grunted, ignoring the death glare the Shichibukai was giving him for using his alias. “The fact that they made contact in general dangerous as is. Even if they’re fighting now, there’s no telling what could happen. Besides, no one here wants that 1% chance of the Yonkou deciding to form an alliance.”
~~~ “You going to berate me for something like that? Please” Ursa let out a laugh as she released the sledgehammer from her grip. Just as she did that, one of her fists became covered in Haki as she smashed it into Masaki, hoping her hammer was enough for him to let down his guard. She wasn’t in a great position to be helping Shuji out, so she hoped the younger pirate would be able to fend for himself for the time being.
~~~ “I’ve heard it’s pretty dangerous in the new world” Bucky replied, straightening up a bit as they talked about the sea on the other side of the red line. “I’d go there myself, but it seems a bit too chaotic for me” he chuckled to himself, scratching the back of his head “I ain’t strong like everyone else in that ocean.” He had to mentally restrain himself from adding “like my dad”, since it probably wasn’t in his best interest to talk about it in front of other pirates. When the Mermaid Island was mentioned, Bucky physically lit up in excitement “dude, I’ve always wanted to go there! They say only the strongest ships are able to make it to the other side, do you think that’s true?”

The tendril that had attacked Shuji shot back towards Masaki, avoiding Shuji's pincer in the process. It shot back towards him to attack him. As soon as Ursa let go of her hammer, he gave it a short toss in the air so that he could grab it by the handle rather than the head. Ursa's fist collided with Masaki's face though the area that was hit was covered in Haki and all it did was turn his head to the side. It didn't seem like much damage had been done from the hit at all. "Your punches tickle" he said "You know, if your captain weren't such a battle-crazy barbarian he would actually be a lot more threatening right? I've gotta ask, how is it having to sail around with a brain-dead captain? It's gotta be tough for the shipwright right?" He said clearly trying to make the two of them angry. Masaki then swung the hammer back at Ursa, aiming for her torso
Raion raised an eyebrow at Olivier "It can't be that hard to say no. I wouldn't really know but it's gotta be like saying no to everyone else." he said (sorry for the short post. I don't really know where to go with this)

Marcus looked at Melody and with a stone face said," Are you sure because like I pointed out earlier, I am the only one here who can deal with that sandstorm." He then looked at Dash and said," He seems eager to fight so why not just send him so I can focus on the main objective."
Gensui meanwhile was continuing his assault on the ships when he noticed the one Marcus was on and made sure not to go anywhere near it.

Buster Call Kuren is l o n g xD]]
Melody looked at Marcus and nodded. She had forgotten about that fact, what with everything going on during this operation. Even the best have their off days now and then. She was about to reply to the bounty hunter, ignoring Dash's excited bouncing, when she noticed the new face standing on her ship. This wasn't a face the admiral had seen often, but she still recognized it. "Very well. Bounty hunter, deal with the storm. Dash, come with me." She gave one last nod to Marcus before walking over to Kuren with Dash in tow. "Tenga Kuren, yes? What have you seen of the battlefield so far?"

Coby started to look a bit nervous as Matogai spoke up, but slowly regained his composure as Oren responded to the warlord. Once the fellow admiral was finished, Coby nodded in agreement and turned to address Matogai as well. "Yes, it is as my colleague has said - these two making contact and clashing with each other is news in and of itself. We also just wanted everyone to be aware of the situation in the case that it escalates and may require intervention by the marines or anyone present here."
"Just send the Fleet Admiral out there to recruit the both of them. Since they're colleagues the fight stops there. Simple," Arana proposed with a very obvious sneer on her face. She then glanced around the room. "We are running low on warlords these days," she added with a pointed look at Coby.
"Well, yes, but I'll address that later in the meeting," Coby replied with only a nod to Arana's jesting. "The next matter of business concerns a small island quite some distance from here. A large fleet of ours headed by Admiral Nakara was sent to carry out a buster call operation, as we had found a high ranking Revolutionary was hiding out there."

As capable as Shuji was in combat for a younger pirate, Masaki's teasing was worming its way into the young man's head and unfortunately working quite well for Masaki. It wasn't too apparent at first, Shuji would throw back an angry retort here and there or try to insult Raiden elsewhere (not very creative insults, might I add) but his form was maintained. However as Masaki carried on, Shuji was starting to slip. Missing the catch on the tendril was the beginning. And to add on top of that was the fact that this enemy pirate was fighting him and Ursa at the same time with seemingly little extra effort put in. As the next attack from Masaki came in, Shuji jumped up and back to try and avoid it but his timing was just off. The tendril hit him and sent him back even further, skidding along the deck clutching at one of his arms as sharp pain shot through it.

Scarlet pursed her lips as she looked intently at their little merchant ship. "Hm, I've heard that too... but so many people come in through here to get to the New World, that means it can't be that bad right? Besides, we've already started coating out ship so there's no backing out now," she said with a soft chuckle.
"You're forgetting that to 90% of people this is the only way to get through... But aside from that, we can certainly hope that that little ship makes it," Kyoden said. "Though with our skill, or lack thereof, in maintaining ships, well..." he trailed off and shrugged.
"Hey!" Scarlet blurted out, as if trying to scare away any sense of impending doom. She looked to Bucky with a grin. "Why don't you join us?? You seem like you know how to fix ships and stuff, and you could see Mermaid Island!"
~~~
Elegant Pirates Yeah, that's what I was saying last post... without Rain here to rp Rod, these lovelies don't have much to do ;-; We could either put them on hold, poof them somewhere else, or maybe if there are any characters floating around with nothing to do we could bring those over?]]
(Sorry if it took a while to write, the start of spring break had me distracted with other things)
(Extremely lol)
Kuren gave the Admiral a slight bow of respect before responding “There is a revolutionary ship near the edge of the island and I engaged into combat with one of them. I’d suggest pulling our attention to the ships trying to leave the island. If the Revolutionaries get away, then this Buster Call would have been pointless.”
~~~
Matogai rested his head in his hand as he leaned over the table, annoyed that Arana would suggest something like that. “We have enough warlords anyway,” he muttered under his breath “any more would just make this meeting more insufferable.” He made sure his voice was quiet, since he didn’t want another death glare from Oren. When Coby mentioned the Buster Call and the Revolutionaries, he seemed to noticeably perk up. A buster call? He’d heard about them, but never saw one in person. Though, it was probably for the best, given how destructive they were. It did make him wonder how necessary it was. Once Coby finished talking, Matogai raised his hand slightly to speak. “This Revolutionary must be pretty dangerous if you threw an entire fleet at them. If not, it would seem like a waste of resources.”
Oren looked at him once again, noticeably agitated by the warlord’s statement. “Do you even know of the dangers the Revolutionary Army poses to the Government? Of course a pirate like you wouldn’t understand, but letting these extremists spread this anti-world government propaganda is a danger in itself. This man was most likely trying to spread these twisted ideas onto the people there. It was better we didn’t risk a single Rebel sympathizer getting away, especially with how rapidly their numbers seem to be growing.”
~~~
Ursa brought her arms down to her torso to catch the hammer before it could make impact. When she caught it, it took every muscle in her body to stop herself from moving away from the other pirate. As he continued to berate them, she could feel her teeth grind together more and more. When she finally took a glance back and saw Shuji in pain from Masaki’s attack, her patience finally snapped. You don’t hurt her crew like that, not while she’s still fighting. “I suggest you don’t talk about matters that you know nothing about, kid,” she retorted, uncharacteristically harshly to the other pirate. There was a noticeable fury in her eye as she gripped the hammer so tightly it crumbled to dust. Her hammer didn’t matter more to her than her crew. Even the ship wasn’t as valuable. Coating one of her fists in haki, she smashed it downward onto Masaki, using her bigger size to her advantage.
~~~
Bucky blinked at them for a second, processing what the pirate asked him. When it finally sunk in that she was asking him to join them, he let out a loud gasp in surprise and recoiled back onto the ground. After his initial shock, he managed to sit in an upright position. “It’s nice to offer, and I don’t want to be rude,” he stammered, clearly conflicted “I mean, it’s not like I never considered being a pirate, it’s just a bit complicated. I’m trying to keep my profile on the down low, and joining a pirate crew would kind of ruin that. Though, I’ve always wanted to go to Fish-Man Island, especially since Great Gran Kokoro said she came from there….” Bucky let out an exasperated exhale and pressed his hands against the sides of his head “I just don’t knooooow”
~~~
(I do have another character I could bring in for the Elegant Pirates to interact with? She’s supposed to be a daughter of Doflamingo and absolutely wears everything fashionable. Only if you’re okay with that of course lol)
Marcus gave a quick nod as he pulled out his den den mushi as soon as Melody was away and quickly told Gensui that to get ready to move. As soon as he did that He began launching vortexes at the sandstorm to try and beat it down.
As soon as Gensui got Marcus's message he quickly started attacking the ships more intensely, this time even aiming for Melodies ship. But he was just trying to damage the top parts like the mast.
Masaki couldn't help but smile as he watched his opponents slowly lose themselves through simple taunting. It seemed like this was going to be easier than he had thought. When Ursa went for an all-out overhead attack, he raised both haki-coated arms above his head to block the attack. "Oh is the baby bear getting mad? Did I touch a nerve?" He asked in a mocking voice. Masaki then grabbed Ursa's wrist as he swung himself upwards and went for a knee to the back of Ursa's head. He kept his tendril on the offensive for Shuji as it went in for another direct attack while he was still on the ground.
(I'll post what I have down now then ^^) | Don Quixote “Black Swan" Lenore | Female | 20 | Human | Alliance Unknown | 360,000,000 | | Standing around 7’ tall, Lenore is thin but surprisingly muscular. She's got tanned skin and short, bobbed hair that covers up one of her eyes. The other eye is covered up by a large sun hat with 3 black feathers protruding from the side. She is normally seen with a light, simple dress that has the skirt cut out to look like feathers. On the dress is a sash around her waist with the rounded insignia of the Don Quixote pirates hanging off of it. Her most noticeable feature is the large feathered cape that she has draped over her shoulders. | Lenore often comes off as shy and somewhat meek when she first meets someone, preferring to keep to herself and stay in the background as much as possible. When around people she’s comfortable with, however, she tends to be more talkative and expressive. She can be sweet at times, but it doesn’t tend to show a lot of the times because of her overall distrust of strangers and people. When it comes to the people she knows and trusts, her background with Don Quixote Doflamingo has caused her to believe she must sacrifice her own interests for the sake of others. | Lenore has no Devil Fruit powers herself, so she relies on her own strength and fighting prowess. She's adept in Observation Haki but hasn't fully gotten used to Armament Haki. She also carries around a pistol that has the properties of a Devil Fruit, the Bird Bird Fruit - Model: Paradise. | Lenore spent a good portion of her early life living on a dirt poor island, where she and her mother often had trouble getting basic necessities. Ever since she could remember, her mother had been a rather bitter and spiteful person who cursed the name of her father, Doflamingo. Lenore was often neglected and ignored by her mother, so she was forced to fend for herself. This treatment caused her to despise her mother and idolize her absent father. Eventually, she finally left the island by sneaking aboard a passing ship. While traveling around, Lenore was finally able to meet her father and joined him when he was trying to rebuild the Don Quixote pirates. During that time, her initial confidence and drive seemed to wither away over the years she spent with him and his pirates. In current day, her status as a member of the Don Quixote Pirates is questionable, as she now tends to travel around on her own. | Doesn't have one for herself, but wants to figure out what to do with herself. | She always walks on the tips of her toes, even if she’s not wearing heels. | | Nariku The Avaricious |
Buster Call
Melody held her chin. "Yes, that would be our goal," she murmured. "The ship you engaged in combat with, what is the state of it now? Could it still be considered a threat to us? There is still one more ship aside from that one with the other Revolutionaries and fleeing islanders," she continued. "If we can put aside the one for now and focus on the other to ensure its capture, I believe that would be ideal." Dash raised a hand. "I could go check on it, bring some 'cuffs with me just in case," he suggested. Before Melody could answer, however, the entire ship shook back and forth as a blast hit the main mast. There were a few shouts and marines scrambled to the edges of the main deck as a loud hissing rose up from the sails. Melody turned and her eyes widened as she saw the mast quite literally appearing to dissolve before their eyes.
The sandstorm, now taking hits from Marcus, would subside wherever he hit it... for a short while. The attacks were able to keep it largely from the ships he was closest to but the winds carrying the sands were ebbing and flowing with great ferocity. It had turned into quite the natural disaster by now. Ari stood by on his escaping ship, watching closely as he noticed an unknown individual now attacking the marine ships. He did not recognize them as any member of the revolutionaries and thus could not help but feel a slight suspicion, but nonetheless was appreciative of any extra help.
~~~
Shichibukai
Arana watched coolly as the admiral and her fellow warlord went back and forth. She had leaned back and was absentmindedly tapping a fingernail on the table. Once there was enough of a break in the argument she raised a finger and chimed in. "I can't believe it, but I'm going to have to agree with sleepy over there, at least on this point," she said with a nod towards Matogai. "You said it's a small island, yes? With only one revolutionary? My crew and I alone could have taken care of that easily."
Coby's eyes flicked back and forth as each individual said their piece, trying to keep each of their arguments in mind. He nodded every few words, especially while Oren was speaking, and paused a moment once everyone had finished. He took in a breath and let it out before addressing them with a single nod. "Yes, at the surface it does seem like too much effort on our part. However, reports have revealed that it was a high ranking revolutionary commander. Son of ex-warlord Sir Crocodile, Ari Crocodile, to be exact. On top of that, once the attack had launched, even more revolutionaries made their way out of the woodwork. We are working on capturing as many as we can."

Shuji's eyes went wide as he saw Masaki beat down on Ursa. He was unsteady on his feet for a moment as he held his arm, pain still searing through it. The young pirate's legs were still working just fine, however, and he managed to jump mostly out of the way of Masaki's tendril. The tendril got the same arm once more causing him to stumble again and Shuji wavered a moment, losing more blood. He let out a yell and across his body sprouted large black armored plates. His tail grew in length and overall he took on a much more scorpion-like appearance. The large crack across one forearm was still very apparent but he tried to bite back the pain for now. He covered his arms and tail with haki once more and charged at Masaki hoping to be of at least some help to Ursa.

Sabaody
"He's got a point," interjected Kyoden. He sat up and stretched a bit before looking between the two. He had to admit, having Bucky around with his supposed ship skills would be a great asset, but they just met the guy and throwing this at him seemed like a bit much to the pirate. Scarlet sighed. "I know..." she murmured, shoulders slouching. She sent Bucky a sympathetic look. "Don't worry about it too much! It was just something that popped into my head," she said with a chuckle. "I mean, I don't know who this Great Gran Kokoro is but, you can come with us without having to join our crew. And, I dunno if it helps much, but Calli here is joining us - and her father's in the marines," she went on, unable to completely give up just yet. Calli blushed a little. "T-That's beside the point," she said, embarrassed. "But we still have to wait a few days right?" She turned to Bucky. "So you don't have to decide right now," she added, hoping it would help calm the boy down.

Elegant Pirates
Olivier glanced at Raion before wandering back to his sister and the stranger. He showed Adeline a small pile of coats and such that he had picked out for both himself and Raion before setting them down on a stool near his sibling. "I'll just leave these here, dear sister. Raion and I will step outside to work on retrieving other supplies while you and our new friend chat. Take your time--" "You can't rush fashion!" the two sang out at the same time. They laughed and Adeline nodded. "Alright, I understand! We will meet up with you both later!" she called as Olivier waved farewell on his way out of the shop.

“Ma’am, the ship was in poor condition when I had last left it. I can’t see it leaving this location any time soon.” Kuren responded before she was nearly knocked off balance by the ship’s sudden jolt. Something had hit time. Was it more revolutionaries? She looked up at the dissolving mast and gritted her teeth. “More complications” She muttered before taking out her giant fan. She opened it and swiped it in the direction of the mast, sending a flurry of snow to completely cover it. Even if her snow wasn’t enough to stop the mast from disintegrating, the iron-tight packed snow should be enough to stop any debris from falling down onto the navy soldiers.
~~~ “Considering how infamous that ex-warlord was, it’s no surprise his son would follow in his footsteps.” Oren grunted.
Matogai bit his bottom lip to stop himself from saying anything else. It wasn’t going to be possible to change anything by talking about it anyway. Especially when it came to Oren. Instead of speaking about the matter further, he just slumped over the table and tiredly asked “What’s done is done I guess. Is there anything else you wish to mention? This can’t be everything, right?”
~~~ “Kid, if you’re calling me a baby, then you’re a fetus by comparison” Ursa growled, stumbling forward when he kicked the back of her head. It didn’t hurt much thanks to her shere bulk, but she still felt it. She turned to see Shuji charging, feeling a twinge of anger when she saw how much he was bleeding. She covered both arms in haki and swung them down at Masaki with enough force to crack a normal person’s spine.
~~~ “More time isn’t going to help my situation” Bucky muttered, still conflicted about the proposal “not like I’m going to get my ship fixed without supplies. I’ll keep it in mind.” When Scarlet mentioned Calli’s dad was in the marines, he could feel his blood run cold. “Oh, is he now” He uttered in a tone that seemed harsher than he intended. Ever since he could remember, Bucky never had any respect for the marines. Even if his father wasn’t a pirate, he still couldn’t forgive what they’d done to the shipwrights at Water 7. Of course, he was never actually told what happened: he only overheard bits and snippets of it. It was still enough for him to dislike the marines.
~~~ (I’ll throw Lenore down then ^^)
Walking down the path of an unfamiliar marketplace, Lenore glanced through all the different shops she passed, wondering if there was anything she could use her miniscule pocket change on. On her shoulder rested an ornate bird with bright red and orange feathers. Had the bird been any other color, it may have blended into her giant, feathered cape. Soon she stopped nearby what looked to be a clothing store. She pursed her lips and looked down at what she was wearing. Nothing she wore needed replacing at the moment, so it’d be a waste of money. She gripped her sunhat and pulled it slightly down her face as she was ready to leave, but paused when a couple of men walked out. The bird made a strange “coo” sound as it stared at the two, giving them the dirtiest look a bird could ever give them.

Marcus looked at the sandstorm and sighed. He then walked over to the Melody and said," Okay the sandstorm is getting a lot worse, and unless you want me to sink the ship with hurricane level winds I would advice against that." He then looked at the mast and said," Well looks like I don't need to do anything, this ship is breaking without my help."
Gensui smirked a tiny bit as he looked at his work and decided to add a bit of salt to the wound. Gensui raid his hand and caused a spear made of acid to form in his hand. He then reeled back before throwing it full force at Melody and her subordinates.

omg im so sorry i thought i had posted here) (and of course after I type out a post an error occurs causing me to retype it all)
Raion followed after Olivier "Are you sure we should just leave them be? I mean, I know that Captain Adeline can handle herself but we don't know who this guy is, what his goals are or most importantly how strong he is. For all we know, he could be as strong as a damn vice-admiral" he said. He heard the coo coming from his right as he looked over and saw a bird sitting on a girl's shoulder, seemingly giving him a death stare. Raion bared his teeth at the bird as he gave off some murderous intent in the hopes of shutting the bird up.
Masaki laughed at Ursa's statement "You may be older than me physically but it seems like you're a baby emotionally. I mean you can't even keep your emotions in check" he said as he coated both arms in haki and crossed them above his head to block Ursa's attack. He had briefly forgotten about Shuji while blocking and ended up getting blindsided by the scorpion-man. Masaki was sent skidding across the deck but he stopped standing up on his feet. He winced slightly at the pain but brushed it away as he did a quick stretch of his arms. He took out two sai and coated them both in Haki "It seems I've underestimated the two of you. I thought you two wouldn't be able to hit me at the rate you were going" he said. Masaki figured it was time to switch up his opponent. He had spent a decent amount of time face-to-face with Ursa that he thought it was only fair Shuji got some of the action. As soon as he finished that thought, the tendril shot forwards in Ursa's direction, going for a straight shot to her chest. Meanwhile, Masaki rushed in towards Shuji as he kept himself as low as he possibly could to give him just a little more reaction time for when Shuji attacked with his tail.

Buster Call
Melody's violet eyes sparked and she spun to face the destruction of her ship. "Move everyone to safety! I want a thorough count on any wounded and I want them treated asap!" The crew began moving as Melody shouted orders and she sent Kuren a thankful look for her assistance. "Dash, I want you to go below deck and see what the damages are. Both of you keep an eye out for suspicious characters and let me know immediately. After watching Dash run off, the admiral turned to Marcus. "Do not think something like this is going to stop us," she said in a low voice.
"Admiral look out!" came a shout from across the ship.
Melody looked up just barely in time to see the spear of acid come hurtling in their direction. She dodged to the side to avoid being hit directly by the attack but several drops managed to splash onto her coat as it collided with the deck of the ship. Holes were eaten away in her sleeve and she winced from the slight stinging sensation. Angrily she tossed the coat aside for it had no use to her now, and her entire body had gone steel as she headed in the direction of the attack.

Shichibukai
Coby looked to Oren and nodded in agreement. He flinched a little at Matogai's words, finding himself wishing the pirate cared a little more... but at the end of the day this man was indeed just that, a pirate that they had happened to hire. "We wanted you to be informed on these matters as soon as possible, as we may send one or some of you to assist either situation in some way," he answered the warlord. Expanding his attention to the rest of the room, he glanced down at his papers before speaking again. "We have also received an influx of reports of increased pirate activity once again in the New World and Grand Line at large, so I advise you to be extra diligent in your territories."

Wano
" Ha ha!" Shuji felt a little glimmer of pride when he was able to successfully land an attack on the enemy pirate... though it quickly faded when Masaki stood again with seemingly little effort. The younger pirate's anger flared once again and he readied himself - as much as he could - as he sensed the enemy's change of target. He glanced to Ursa quickly. "Be careful, Ursa, that thing hurts... a lot more than it looks," he called just before charging at Masaki once more. As he neared the other pirate, Shuji jumped into the air and curled into a ball. He flipped over forwards midair to give his tail more momentum and force as he swung it down onto the deck aiming for Masaki.

Sabaody
Calli and Scarlet froze at Bucky's sudden cold tone. They glanced at each other and started attempting an apology but instead just kept fumbling over their words and ended up saying a whole lot of nothing. Kyoden sighed and shook his head. "This is why you don't just go around saying things like that," he said, exasperated. He turned his attention to Bucky. "Just ignore them. It's up to you whether you're coming or not. Just know our offer's still open. We won't wait up for ya if you're not here when the coating's done," he said, then getting to his feet. He didn't care if he sounded insensitive, he simply didn't wish to waste any time. "I'm going into town to start gathering supplies for the trip. You can come with or stay with the ship, I don't really care. Just don't get into trouble. It seems there aren't any wanted posters of us here yet and I'd like it to stay that way," he said to the group before stalking off.

Elegant Pirates
Olivier was about to reply to his companion when his thoughts were interrupted by the sound of a bird. He looked over, curious about the source of the noise, and blinked in surprise once he saw the creature and the individual it was perched upon. "I do say I don't believe I've ever felt so insulted in all my life," he murmured with a glance to Raion. He lightly tapped his friend on the shoulder. "Now, now, we don't want to go starting a fight right off the bat," he warned in a low voice. With another tap the captain turned his attention back to the woman. "A lovely day to you, ma'am," he said with his best smile and a bow. "That is quite the intriguing avian friend you have there."
