(Thanks! I think it's because in Greek mythology, Cerberus is the guard of the Underworld, and the Underworld is seemingly made of fire in other mythologies that aren't Greek. Cerberus himself is probably not immune to fire, though he might be.)

I know there is no hint but since he lives in what is essentially purgatory I figured I'd make him immune to fire plus I made him like a year ago so I can't exactly recall the exact reason as to why lol)

| Ashton stands at 6'0 and is a muscular man of average height with lightly tanned skin. He has messy light green hair and amber colored eyes that look a lot like a crocodiles. He is usually seen wearing green clothing which usually consists of merely a t-shirt and dark green pants. | Ashton is usually a very calm and quiet individual who only reacts when he is provoked much like a wild animal though if he feels like one of his friend's is in danger, he will jump immediately into a fight. He does have a short-temper and can be fairly aggressive with people he isn't familiar with. Ashton also tends to be insincere with his feelings for others and doesn't show much emotion other than when he is fighting | Damien has the Wani Wani no mi also known as the Gator Gator fruit. It is a Zoan type devil fruit that allows Ashton to turn into a crocodile. In his human-beast form, Ashton stands at 9 feet tall and weighs nearly 800 lbs. He looks much like a crocodile except he has a more humanoid body shape. He can hold onto weapons still and can breathe underwater for nearly two hours. In this form he has enhanced strength and speed and with his scales, a higher defensive ability that he normally has. Navy swords and guns won't hurt him unless they are shot near his vitals since his thick hide protects him. In his full beast form, Ashton is a full-fledged crocodile and has many of the abilities that crocodiles usually have other than being 15 feet long and weighing about 1,500 lbs. It's easy to differ him from normal crocodiles due to his large scar on the right side of his mouth that and him being intelligent. He is unable to speak in his full crocodile form though. Ashton also uses a Halberd as his weapon that he had custom made by his old village's blacksmith. It has a crocodile emblazed on the axe blade of the halberd and is about 7 and a half feet long. It can be taken apart into two pieces so that Ashton can use it like an ax or a short spear | Damien wants to be one of the strongest in the world | East Blue | Functions as the ship's carpenter|

Atlas walked out onto the deck of his ship, sneaking up on the unknowing Ashton. He snuck up behind him and whispered in his ear, "Hello mister croc, how are you today?" and then ran off.
Maudelynn watched the whole thing and sighed. She shook her head, but when it happened, she didn't bother to warn Ashton.

Ashton had been lying in a hammock about to fall asleep from the warmth of the sun. He nearly jumped when Atlas spoke in his ear but he just barely managed to stop himself from doing so. He let out what sounded like a growl before he got up from the hammock. "I was nearly asleep Atlas" he said as he went after him

Atlas started cackling, running around the ship. "I woke you! Aha! I saw land by the way, no clue where it is! Weeeeeee!" He said, then proceeded tor run into a wall. He fell down and said, "Ow."
"There's no land nearby Atlas, no lying. Bad boy." Maudelynn scolded. "You deserved to run into a wall."

Ash caught up with Atlas and turned into his half-beast form before picking Atlas up before letting out a growl "You're lucky that no matter how much I hit you, it'll just go right through you. Just wait for the day when that happens" he said before throwing him back against the wall before turning away "How much longer until we get to land Maudelynn? I think the Captain is starting to lose his mind being stuck on the ship"

"Oh, he's been crazy from birth. We should make it to land in two days." Maudelynn said.
"I'm not crazy, I'm interesting." Atlas complained.
Hamlin face-palmed, annoyed by all this. He looked at Ash and said, "You're lucky the captain is so forgiving, if you'd done that to me I'd have shot you for it. Okay croco-boy?"

"Like those bullet's would have done anything against me unless you shot me in between my eyes. And once you did, you'd probably be missing a limb or two" Ash said "So what's our plan when we do make it to land? Beat up a bunch of Marines? Or are we going to steal some stuff? Or are we going to be good little pirates like we were on the last island?"

"Treasure hunting!" Atlas exclaimed. "We need to find something that we can sell to make a lot of money."
"Y'know, croco boy, I could always just push you overboard. You'd drown, sure, and it'd be deserved." Hamlin replied.
"Okay, Ash, Hamlin, stop. Also, Ash if you kill one of the crewmates you'll be immediately kicked out of the crew if Atlas doesn't burn you first. I doubt you want to become what your name is. Ashes." Maudelynn said, louder than usual, giving the 'stop the nonsense immediately' look that was kinda scary.
Atlas made a squeak sound at the fact that Maudelynn raised her voice. She was scary when she did that. (Am I the only one who thinks Maudelynn is, like, the actual captain? XD She's so good at giving orders.)

(she seems more like the Nami of the group so far lol not the Captain but is the only one that can get the madness of the crew under control)
Ash growled again and was about to make a retort towards Hamlin before Maudelynn ending up yelling at the two. He winced slightly before he turned back to his normal human form "I wouldn't kill anyone on this ship unless they actually deserved it" he said "I may not be that smart but I sure as hell am not dumb enough to piss the Captain off" he said before turning his head back to the Captain "What do you mean treasure hunting? Do we have a map that I haven't been told about?"

"Well, actually, we're following a map that Maud has to a deserted island. Apparently there's some secret treasure there. The map is one of a kind, so nobody else has found it." Atlas said excitedly.
"Well, yes. I have it in my room." Maudelynn said quietly. She told them, "We're following it pretty well. I'm a pretty good navigator, as Atlas knows well, so I can lead us to it if everybody helps. You'll help, won't you?"
"Of course!" Atlas said, getting up from rolling around on the floor.
"Yeah, I can help." Hamlin replied to Maudelynn with a smile.

Ash shrugged "I guess I'll help. You're going to need someone to dig and I doubt twig arms over there will be of much help" he said as he jerked his head towards Hamlin as if to signal that Ash was talking about him

"That's good to hear. I can finally get the chance to stretch my legs without much worry" Ash said remembering what happened when he had turned into a crocodile on the last island they had visited. A quick sharp pain hit his side as he remembered the wound he got from a bullet

Ash let out a huff of breath "Going to take a lot more than some random pirates to actually injure us. Especially the Captain and his devil fruit powers. Unless they have seastone weapons they can't do anything" he said "And they won't get close enough to hurt me"
