Being so distracted by where he was going, Rod had no idea that he had just stepped on someone until the voice spoke up. Looking down, he noticed the dwarf. "Oh, my sincere apologies!" He gasped. The pirate moved back, careful not to hurt the little one again.
Kuina was jostled and pushed through the crowd as she tried to make her way to a food shop. Letting out a small, annoyed curse, she shoved a person blocking her way hard enough for him to go down, and stepped over him and out of the crowd, finding herself with a couple more people nearby a bakery.

My professors have packed everything into this week before break, so I won't be on much, but I'll try to respond as much as I can! >_<]]
The door of the bakery flung open as Kyoden kicked it, and he stepped out with a large sack of bread loaves in his arms. He marched out of the small building before turning down the street with Scarlet following him. Scarlet's bag was taller than Kyoden's and so was blocking her view just a bit. Kyoden didn't notice this, and just continued down the street like all was well until he heard a thud behind him. He turned around to see Scarlet had walked right into Kuina.
"I'm so sorry! Are you alright?!" Scarlet blurted out, stepping over the dropped sack of bread.

Rod huffed. "I do not believe I am at complete fault. This is a crowd, and a small man like you could be trampled." He replied.
"Hey!" Kuina let out a squeak when someone ran into her. "Ow," she muttered. "Watch where you're going." She sounded extremely annoyed, and glared at the girl who had ran into her. She probably would have been more angry about it, but she was trying to draw little attention to herself. Instigating a fight was not the best way to stay on the down-low.

(I'm totally freaking out about this. And I can't even talk to him because there's no school for a few days, and I don't have his number. So like, I'm freaking out. The entire thing was quick and awkward and I have no idea about anything. Omg I feel so embarrassed.)

And why am I stuck carrying most of the bread?!" she snapped, glaring behind Kuina. Kyoden looked to her with little concern on his face and gave a quick shrug. "My top priority right now is getting back to the ship. Faster I bring this back to captain, the faster I can do my own thing," he said, his tone implying it made perfect sense to him. |

Kuina found herself kind of stuck between the two crewmates as they bickered. Like, literally stuck. The crowd blocked one path and the building blocked the other, with the girl and her bag in front of the door.

Scarlet gave Kyoden one last look before sighing. "Kyo, why don't you take both bags then? I won't slow you down that way," she called, a teasing tone to her voice. She tossed the bag at him and then gave a little wave as he turned to head back to the ship, scowling. "Sorry again for bumping into you... were you headed for the bakery?" she asked Kuina before turning around to open the door again. There were some sweet rolls inside that had her name on them.

"Uh, yeah," Kuina said, suddenly cautious. Sure, the girl acted a bit like her when she's around friends, but still. Kuina just remembered that she didn't have a crew anymore to watch out for her, only her brother who wasn't even close by, and she was still wanted.
"Ah, yes, I give you thanks for allowing me to leave without a fight," Rod replied with a seemingly respectful dip of his head. It was difficult to tell if he was actually sincere or was simply acting. With him, one never knew.

Scarlet held the door open for Kuina before walking back in herself. She went up to the counter and bought a small bag of the sweet rolls. She was a bit slow on her way out, sending a glance to Kuina once more. She felt like she had met the girl before, or at least seen her somewhere else, but couldn't quite think of where or when.
