Raiden glanced to Masaki and stood silently, twirling a loose strand of hair slowly around one finger. "Yes, a scout would be good..." he murmured, nodding. "No need to bother the other commanders for one just yet. I already have someone in mind. Then we shall convene with everyone once they return." He paused for a breath before turning to his side. "Kandji, I want you to go." Returning his attention to Masaki and any others listening, he explained. "She'll be the fastest through water, and has the highest chance of going undetected."

Masaki nodded "I'm not complaining" he said "As long as you weren't sending me, I was fine with whoever. But Kandji, let us know if you find them. Tell us everything you can also like how many ships are there or even how many people are with them. And remember, you are only a scout so don't fight back unless you absolutely have to"

"Aww, I was about to ask you to go with her," Raiden said to Masaki with a smirk. The next moment the serious expression returned as he faced Kandji. "As our friend said, do not engage anyone and remember every detail as best as you can. I'll even give you a tone dial if it will help. You can do this, right?"
"Yes, captain," Kandji answered softly. She folded her hands in front and gave him a slight bow. "I will take the tone dial, too."

Kandji looked to Masaki and slowly blinked. Her mouth opened halfway and she hesitated before shaking her head slightly. She gave a small smile and nodded. "Sure, that would be nice," she answered.

Instead of shooting, Rod attacked with the sword in his other hand, jabbing towards the marine. Even if she was able to take his gun, he had more. He just didn't want to get more later.

"You still got a lot to learn though. Jabbing with a sword like that at close range takes more time than if you were at a distance" Paloma said as she used armament Haki on her hand to stop the blade while her other hand was about to grab the gun

"If it's not here, then we'll flag someone down and ask for a doctor's office or something." Scarlet squinted her eyes, straining to read a far-off sign in the dim lamp-light. "Is that one way down there? I can't quite make it out, though," she said, pointing to a sign with a red cross on the end. |

"Great" Masaki said with a wide smile "One Curry Lobster Rice coming right up" he said before he started to gather the ingredients for the dish which included spiny lobster, saffron rice, sauce americaine along with some ingredients for roux. Masaki then started to make his own curry before he turned his head to look at Kandji "How do you want the curry? Hot, mild, sweet, somewhere in between?" He asked

Kandji followed him into the kitchen and pulled out a seat at the table closest to Masaki. "I'd prefer it mild, thank you," she replied.

Kandji sat and waited patiently, smiling a bit more as the delicious scent reached her nose. A few minutes later Raiden waltzed into the room as well and moseyed up to the counter dividing the kitchen from the rest of the room. "Would you happen to have enough for two servings of that?" he asked with a smirk.

"You wish Captain. If I had known that you were going to want some I would have taken out a second lobster. You're going to have to ask Kandji if you can have a little" Masaki said as he started preparing the rice

Alrighty  ]] Raiden raised an eyebrow and peered at Kandji over his shoulder. He shot her a rare pleading glance and frowned when she shook her head in answer. "Fine~" he pouted, though a moment later he turned back to Masaki and grinned. "Looks like she's really looking forward to it. Not that that lovely pokerface of hers isn't already giving it away," he joked. |

Raiden crossed his arms on the counter and rested his chin on them. "I suppose that will be fine," he said with a sigh, averting his eyes. He heard a soft giggle from behind, and looked back at Kandji with a raised eyebrow. "What is it?" he demanded.
Kandji shook her head slightly. "We don't see this side of you very much," she said, to which Raiden only responded with a click of his tongue.

"I usually see it when I'm cooking. I swear, my cooking must be something of wonders if it can bring out this side of you so often" Masaki said with a chuckle. Masaki turned around as he waited for the rice, curry, and lobster to finish

Raiden's eyebrows got increasingly lower on his face as the conversation went on. "You two are lucky you're two of my most valued crew mates," he growled.
Kandji let out a quiet giggle once more, and couldn't help but wonder what the other crewmates would think if they saw their terrifying captain like this.

You'd have the entire Marine fleet after you by now if it weren't for me. Remember that time that you almost went and killed a family of Celestial Dragons? Granted they deserved it but they would send all three admirals after you if you had"

Paloma jumped up in the air and pushed off the air, using Geppo, to go for the gun. While she was going for the gun, she started using her observation Haki to help "keep an eye" on Rod in case he tried to attack her while she was in midair

Rod didn't move for an attack, instead breaking into a run. Tucking and rolling, he picked up the first gun he had used as he did, coming up on his feet and continued to run, using his own observation haki to allow him to predict Paloma's movements when she went after him.

Paloma turned around with the gun in her hand and let out a few shots ahead of Rod to try and get him to stop as she landed and started to chase after him

"Yeah you guys were pretty much cooking everything you caught without much preparation or it was whatever you stole" Masaki said "But the Celestial Dragons think they are better than all of us which is why they disrespected you. And I don't think we would have been able to take on all 3 admirals without some heavy losses "
