"Oh yea! I'm such a bad father!" Twistedfoot said "I will find a good spot to put him, you take care of the kits. I won't be long" Twistedfoot dropped wolfkit and breezekit in front of echolight, then picked up swiftkit. A few moment later twistedfoot put him under a bush and put flowers on him "Swiftkit, if you are listening I just want to say, I love you, and I'm sorry you didn't get to be alive for just one second"

Echolight mourned by letting out a wail. Her kits looked up at their crying mother with confused flat faces. Echolight shook her head then bent down and picked up Tawnykit.

Orchidkit gazed up at the Sunningrocks with wide eyes, smiling and cheering.
"Yes! Now I can patrol around them!" She mewed proudly, scampering around with purpose. She stopped as she saw the large stones used to cross the river. She wondered why it smelled so funny, before she started to cross the stepping stones to explore unknowingly into Thunderclan territory.

Nightfang walked along the border. He soon scented riverclan and narrowed his eyes. He headed towards the scent to see the kit. "You're a little far from home."

Dapplepaw tipped his head as Orchidkit whipped around, now in Thunderclan territory.
"Grrrr!" She growled, claws out.
"You must be Thunderclan cats! I'm gonna defend Sunningrocks!" The adventurous and brave kit announced.
Diamondheart led the patrol through the reeds, sighing as water muddled the scents. He hoped Orchidkit was alright.

Shellstream tasted the air. "If I were Orchidkit, where would I be?" she wondered out loud. When she was a kit, she was in ThunderClan and Highstones. She really didn't know where a kit would want to be in RiverClan.

Stormheart had lost the patrol but had ended up at the Sunning Rocks. As he waded through the current of the river, he saw Orchidkit and Thunderclan Warriors surrounding her.

"Got it." Diamondheart caught the scent, leaving the reeds and seeing Sunningrocks. As he led the patrol closer, he called to Stormheart.
"Come back and regroup! Is she over there?" He waded out towards Stormheart.
Orchidkit growled, backing up, waving her claws.
"Run away Thunderclan! You can't ever get Sunningrocks back!" She frowned, not hearing the patrol.
Dapplepaw saw the Riverclan cats and mewed quietly.
"Riverclan...t-that's their deputy, right?" He asked.

Shellstream followed, beginning to scent Orchidkit among the ThunderClan border. She frowned. Did she really wander out here?

Hopeheart sniffed around before hearing her deputy and followed the voices, she frowned slightly stepping into the water.

"Probably." Nightfang huffed, looking at the kit. "You shouldn't be out here." He said gently. "Good warriors don't sneak out with out their mother. You want to be a good warrior right?" He tried to persuade the kit to listen to him.

Diamondheart nodded, padding over to Stormheart and mewing soothingly.
"It's alright. We'll go over and get her back. I doubt those cats will harm her. Come on, and do not get hostile, you all got that?" He asked his patrol, before turning to wade towards the Thunderclan border. He called.
"Greetings! Many apologies for Orchidkit's intrusion. I trust she has not caused much damage, has she?" He asked, diplomatic and apologetic, yet strong and warning in case they were planning on doing anything to her.

Hopeheart sighed softly wading out to join Stormheart and Diamondheart. She watched the thunderclan warrior and apprentice quietly wading up to the shore on the other side but hanging back.

Shellstream kept a calm posture as Diamondheart sorted the situation. ThunderClan may battle for Sunningrocks, but they wouldn't hurt a kit.

Nightfang was about to respond tot he kit when he heard Diamondheart. "No damage at all." He replied with a glance at the kit. "We just found her wandering through our territory. We were trying to convince her to let us bring her home." He spoke to the deputy.

Daimondheart nodded. He could tell by the postures and tones that Nightfang was being honest. And his apprentice looked simply shy and overwhelmed. Giving a respectful nod, Diamondheart mewed.
"Then we thank you greatly for thinking of her interests of safety. Orchidkit." Diamondheart called.
The kit looked at Diamondheart, Stormheart, Hopeheart and Shellstream, still looking bold but a little embarassed now. She kicked a pebble.
"M'sorry....I just wanted to protect Sunningrocks."
Dapplepaw was glad the Riverclan cats didn't seem angry.

(Stormheart's eyes softened, "I can't blame you for that Orchidkit" he said sympathetically "defending the clan like that, reminds me of something I would have done when I was younger. You will make a great Warrior one day."

Orchidkit perked at that, only to shuffle as Diamondheart added.
"But even so, we also must respect the borders and try to talk things through before acting out. Your mother is worried sick. She was calling for you." The kit shuffled at the deputy's voice, scooting over to go back with them. She didn't want her mother upset.
Diamondheart nodded for Hopeheart or Shellstream to carry the kit as he mewed to Stormheart.
"You three can start heading back. I'll catch up in a moment, it's only proper I apologize for this without stifiling company." He nodded to them.

Diamondheart watched them for a moment before turning back to the Thunderclan cats.
"Once again, many apologies. Our kits can be restless, and Orchidkit came from a large litter. But, I'm thankful you kept her here so we could catch up to her." He dipped his head before shaking it.
"Ah. I'm keeping you two...I'll be on my way now." He nodded, inwardly wishing he could deliver a message of greeting to his brother...or one day see the place his father had been buried.
