Duckstep glanced up at the sky. They had a couple cats out hunting and training. He was grateful for any cat trying to get the overall mood moving. Stretching he looked over to Hawkpaw who was bathing in the sun. Chuckling he walked over, shadow falling across the lazing cat "I'm surprised you're actually out enjoying the sun." most cats would have opted for the shade these days.

"Yes your right, but it is pretty hot right now.", Hawkpaw said with a purr to Duckstep. "I knew you were kidding.", Hawkpaw said lying because he was scared to get water, especially in this heat wave. |

Bearclaw padded calmly into came into the camp, in his jaws was a tiny gray ball that seemed lifeless in his jaws. He had been out hunting when he heard the shekits weak mewls in a bush she was scrawny and weak from hunger. He could tell she had been abandoned to deaths doors, she had been out here for days it's a miracle she lasted this long. He didn't even think he left his prey in the bush and immediately brought the fragile kit to his clan to try and save her.
Stormpaw sat in the shade trying to cool off he heard Duckstep. "I though you were serious at first..." He chuckled slightly, "Though I'm sure the queens and elders will be thirsty soon." He rolled slightly so he was no longer on his back.

Blackdawn laid in the shade, sharing tongues with her brother Darkheart. The two warriors were still anxious about their leader, but so far, Pinestar hadn't said anything worrying so they assumed he was okay for now. Blackdawn watched camp with perceptive green eyes, while Darkheart yawned.
