I like the sound of his character! Seems like he will be an interesting addition to the clan. I definitely agree that a warrior is the best place he will fit. The only thing is that due to the formatting of the clan page, his description will appear slightly different than the one you've posted. More like: Lynxsoul || 20 Moons || Tom His pelt is dark gray with black stripes on a majority of his body and a small muscular form. He has blue-colored eyes. He likes to participate in conversations either to get to know the clanmates better or to pass the time. LynxSoul does not start conversations usually, however. He cares about the clan and what happens, from its protection against threats to troubling affairs. He tends to offer his opinion in settling matters if he thinks he can help. LynxSoul does tend to speak up on personal matters, even his sexuality. It takes a bit of effort for him to admit he's got an issue with something if it's a personal gripe. LynxSoul tends to pay attention to his surrounds and what events are occurring to make the best judgment possible. He is a quick thinker if a decision requires on-the-fly planning, but sometimes makes a bad call due to lack of time to think about a choice. When pressed on personal matters, he gets quite emotional about how he feels towards discussing the subject matter. He also suffers from letting his emotions interfere with his decision-making over being neutral. LynxSoul is not scared to admit he's mistaken at times. With a commanding tone, the tabby cat also is not scared to respectfully disagree with anyone in the clan but is willing to listen to other opinions. He tends to recall the code whenever he can. This does make it rather long, though, so I would like to request that you condense it just a bit- just for the description that goes on the front page. The expanded version will still be here on the planning page for anyone who wants to see a more in-depth description of Lynxsoul. If you need an example, you can always look at the clan front page (link). As for RPing in the first or third person, I do prefer the third person, but if you are really uncomfortable RPing in that fashion then, so long as the other members don't mind it, I can approve you writing as such.
Lynxsoul || 20 Moons || Tom
A dark gray, black-striped, muscular tom with blue eyes. Lynxsoul is very social around his clanmates. He shows care and concern for the clan for its protection against threats or troubled affairs. If he thinks his opinion might help matters he will speak up. It takes effort for him to admit he has issues with something if it's a personal matter. Lynxsoul mainly tries to make good judgment calls and be a quick thinker, but sometimes this fails. If pressed for details on something, he might get emotional. He tries not to let his emotions cloud his judgment, but sometimes can't. He does admit to making mistakes, although he might end up disagreeing. He tries to recall the code whenever he can. The downside to that being he might sometimes be bossy.
Well, I've thought about it. Maybe I could start off in 1st person to see if it'll be okay, but shift over to 3rd if it seems like it would work better. I'm fine either way. Thanks, Cinnamon. |

Russetclaw || Warrior || 26 Moons || Tom
Russetclaw is a slender Egyptian Mau tom with large green eyes. He has warm bronze ground color across his head, shoulder, outer legs, back and tail. The color is at its darkest at the "saddle" area, and from there the color lightens on the sides to tawny buff. His belly is a beautiful creamy ivory color, his nose is a brick red and ears have brown-black tips. He is bossy and fierce, but loyal and likes to follow the rules but not all the time. He has a hot temper and sometimes loses it in certain situations, he's cautious around new things and others. Russetclaw isn’t very outgoing but he speaks his mind whenever, he has his own world around him where he’s not bother by what others say.
Smokepelt || Queen || 32 Moons || She Cat
Smokepelt is muscular black smoke Maine Coon she cat with a fluffy tail and copper eyes. She has a fur a mane around her neck. Her black fur has grey going through gradually getting darker till it's all black at the end. She has white fur coming out her ears with random white furs all over. Smokepelt is a bit rough around the edges and tends to be very over protective of her kits. At times she's fierce and demanding, having a bad habit of being strict. Other times she is calm but if she becomes uneasy she quick to fight. She's a former rogue and lived with her mate Mist, until one day they were attacked by a badger. Mist didn't make it so Smokepelt traveled alone until she found Cloud clan. She's still wary about being in a clan so it hard for her to accept some of the rules and other cats.
Tigerkit || Kit || 3 Moons || Tom
Tigerkit is a large muscular brown classic tabby and white Maine coon tom with a fluffy tail and greenish copper eyes, the fur around his neck is like a mane. He has brown fur has with black tabby stripes. He has a white bib, stomach, with his back legs being white and his front paw toes are also white and his tail is a mix of brown and black. Tigerkit is very adventurous and loves a good challenge, also ambitious but he is willing to listen and talk things out. He’s not demanding but rather easy going, understanding everyone has their limits. He’s merciful but when he runs out of options, he’ll quickly become fierce and lose his temper. He loves to swim around in water and practicing his fighting moves.
Snakekit || Kit || 3 Moons || Tom
Snakekit is muscular silver classic tabby and white Maine coon with a fluffy tail and copper eyes. He has a white fur mane around his neck and his front fangs are sharp, noticeable sticking out of his mouth. He has black and silver fur with a swirl pattern going through, the inside of his legs are white and his chest is white all the way to his underbelly and his front paws are white. He is very serious, fierce, and ambitious, sometimes refusing to listen before jumping into a fight. He can be demanding, ruthless, and prideful, willing to push others over their limits to get things done, even if it kills them. Through he seems terrible, he’s not completely heartless Snakekit is willing to protect and be loyal to those he cares about. He has a fear of climbing trees but he loves to swim around in water.
Flamekit || Kit || 3 Moons || She Cat
Flamekit is a sturdy slender red classic tabby-and-white Maine Coon she-cat with a fluffy tail and amber eyes. The fur around her neck is like a mane and she has tufts of fur on her ears. Her fur has an overcoat of orange red with markings of cream underneath. She has a white bib, stomach and paws and near the end of her tail is orange cream. She is calm and carefree, unlike her brothers she isn't quick to lose her temper and wouldn't fight unless she really has to. She is quite friendly and sometimes ends up trusting others too quickly. She was a fear of water but loves to climb trees.

Oh, thats alright! I'm just about to call a clan meeting, so everyone should be in camp at this point. From there I'm sure there will be lots of opportunity for conversation, and I'm going to start a new day soon as well. If you'd like, I can make sure Lynx gets put on a patrol first thing in the "morning" so he can jump into RP?

Actually, that sounds like a good idea. It makes sense, given he did just return to camp,
so hearing the clan meeting would be a simple way of having him join the others. That's also good he'd be on a patrol. Although I did have a question: would his absence from the previous day's patrol or from his warrior duties, given he had seemingly been gone for the day, be a possible plot point? I'm willing to be flexible with how Lynx is to make things easier, too.

Let's see...a reason he'd be gone a long time. Oh, actually, there was one reason and it relates to how The Forgotten Warrior handled things. Maybe it was assumed he was MIA and only recently returned to the territory. It feels more natural if there was a little surprise he had returned after presumingly been gone for an unknown period of time.
However, that was just one idea I had. Thoughts?

A day would be a reasonable amount of time. Think the direction I'd go with was Lynx prob was out scouting At Moonpoint in search of a place to meditate and most likely simply lost track of time.(of course, it could be brought up why he doesn't stick to Sunning Place as a good spot). I didn't have any plot reasoning currently, though.

Hey guys, I came up with a cool idea! So Littlespring and Stormberry will become mates right before Blackbrook is like, "Hurr Durr I'm evil", and because of this, Stormberry chooses her mate over her clan. What if it was Blackbrook that set them up in a position that made them mates?
Think about it! Stormberry is too nervous around Littlespring to make any moves, and because of Dawnripple, Littlespring isn't going to seek out Stormberry.
If Blackbrook set them up, by making them collect herbs for him or something along those lines, he'd be making the amount of cats that will join him larger.
What do you think?

Blackbrook and Owlshadow are definitely looking to manipulate as many cats as they possibly can to side with them, so I can certainly see Blackbrook being the driving force behind hooking Stormberry and Littlespring up. What do you think faundestwishes ? |

Every cat in the clan gets to choose (when the time comes) whether they will align with the dark or light ancestors. Owlshadow will take over the clan as Owlstar and will shadow the clan in darkness (as the prophecy foretells) and the cats who are aligned with the light will have to fight against him. This plotline actually ties in with the plotline over at The Tribe of Crashing Tides, who will travel into Cloudclan territory, arriving at dawn (hence, dawn saving the clan) and will help to push out the evil from Cloudclan's forest. Lynx can choose which side he wants to be on, and his actions leading up to then will likely shadow his decision. If you want him to be good, then that's fine, and if you want him to be evil then that is also fine! If you want him to have a larger role (say, you have an idea for how he can further the plot, possibly tied to his disappearance) then I am all ears! I'm more than happy to hear your ideas and put them into action, if I feel like they fit the overall plot of the RP. |

LynxSoul He's a good friend of Stormberry's (If you want) but he seems like a good cat. I feel like he'd oppose Blackbrook's side, and feel driven to defeat them by the betrayl of his good friend. Stormberry would choose the "good side", but since Littlespring will have such a hold on her, she'll go to the "evil" side.

Stormberry could also always convince Littlespring to turn to the light side, too. Especially if Littlespring ends up developing true feelings for her as well.
Honestly, you guys are more than welcome to develop your own plots between your characters- I think that is awesome! Just make sure you run it by me if you want to do something major (i.e something that will affect the whole clan)

That's a good idea! Hawkeyes had already said it'd be cool if Littlespring did end up feeling for Stormberry. I think that her convincing Littlespring to the light side could be the peak of her character arc. Because when they become mates it's extremely abusive. Littlespring is using her, and only keeping her here so Blackbrook has more allies (at first). And Stormberry through Littlespring constantly bringing her down has little to no independence from Littlespring.
But! Let's say Blackbrook thinks Littlespring can't keep Stormberry loyal anymore, so he wants to kill her. Then Littlespring defends her mate, and begs for a second chance for Stormberry. Then that starts Littlespring's feelings back to Stormberry. She becomes protective of her, since Stormberry is in such an awful state, and she feels guilty.
And little by little, Stormberry becomes more confident in herself, maybe she runs into one of her old friends, and they help her. And then after feeling like nothing for so long, she stands up for herself and convinces Littlespring to go to the "light" side.
How's that sound?

I've given it some thought. I remembered in a past incarnation when Lynx was a deputy (for a different Clan, obviously) that he showed a rather commanding tone over others. With that said, one of Lynx's motivations being control. Yeah, it does also seem like a good idea to give him a large role if it's not overshadowing someone else's, just trying to make sure it makes logical sense. Currently Lynx's natural so he could go either way. For the record, Lynx doesn't have a mate so it's more tricky to directly influence him.

Blackbrook would totally be with trying to pair them together to get more allies, and wouldn't even see a betrayal coming. He'd think Littlespring was oh so loyal to him xD
A mighty fine flaw he will have, if he thinks you're his ally for real, he cant feasibly imagine them having loyalty to somebody else other than him.. because he's just so great and perfect, why would they choose a mate over him x'D

I could really see Shadowpaw going both ways, as she values her friend's opinions, and Mosspaw seems to be a rather good fellow. But sometimes, she really is a little slimy snake. I wonder what's going to happen. Probably depends how much she likes Mosspaw.

(And I have this intense feeling that when Shadowpaw meets Ivypaw, it's not going to be pretty. From what I've heard, Ivypaw is a really proud cat, and Shadowpaw is a clever and disrespecting cat. hm.)
