Well Snowfawn died before Yellowclaw, right...? It makes sense he would be older at his time of death if she still died as a young warrior and he went on to be deputy for a short time. Or are we changing their backstories up a bit?

Dawnripple || Warrior || 38 moons old || She-cat Dawnripple has orange fur with light tabby stripes with some white on her muzzle. She has pale green eyes. Dawnripple is fierce and ambitious cat. She likes things to go her way and dislikes when cats get in her way. Dawnripple knows how to act around certain cats and how to make herself look good. She is selfish and bossy at times. Dawnripple considers herself to be the best. Partner in Crime is Littlespring Littlespring || warrior || 34 moons || She-cat Small black and white fur with blue eyes. She has muscular hind and back legs from running and jumping so much. She is prideful and cunning she-cat. She considers herself to be pretty smart and has a tendency to look down on others. Don't let her size fool you, during a battle she is like a whirlwind of fur and claws. Littlespring will act like your friend but only if it suits her needs. She tends to be overconfident and underestimates what others can do. Her brother is Darkwind. Partner in crime is Dawnripple Darkwind || warrior || 34 moons || Tom Darkwind has black fur and some white that goes from his muzzle down to the middle of his chest. He has pale yellow eyes. Darkwind is strange and bit intimidating. He tends to be serious all the time and grumpy. He keeps his feelings to himself but will confide in those he trusts the most. Darkwind is a ruthless fighter, and will not stop until his opponent begs him to do so or unless he is pulled away. Another flaw, would be he has trouble loosing up and having fun. Before he became a warrior, Darkwind used to be less serious and was more into being a prankster and having fun. His attitude started to change when those he cared about the most started dying one by one. Darkwind doesn't think he will ever truly be happy again Ripplestorm || Warrior || 49 moons || Male Handsome long haired light gray tom with some black near his face and parts of his pelt. He has light blue eyes and a muscular build under that fur. Ripplestorm is noble and fair cat. He likes to keep himself busy doing what he can to help the clan. Ripplestorm has a way of saying just the right thing. Though don't let his easy going nature fool you. Ripplestorm can be quite cold and blunt about things. Ripplestorm can talk in a way that can make you feel really guilty or sorry about something. Usually this only comes out on bad days or unless you really tick him off.  |

Well, the books make it seem like Starclan cats look the way they were when they were happiest in life, so he could just appear as he did when Snowfawn was still alive. That might be kinda cute actually... he wasn't happiest being Deputy, he was happier when he still had her around (awww...)

Edited in: ah, but as proof of their distance relation to each other, they can share their traditions? it can't be a coincidence that they use an apprenticeship system. and their naming style (aside from the -star part of the leader). things may need to be tweaked later tho. hm...

The clan page has been updated and roles/plots are being solidified. Now is the time for anyone to suggest relationships/backstories and other details before we officially get going with the RP.
Cloudclan will go live on the Fan-Clans page on 3/18/2017, this Saturday.
I would do it sooner but this week is finals for me and I can't manage the start of the clan as well as perform well academically.
If you have a major role (Prophecy cat or important clanmember) please keep in mind that i will be expecting you to participate in RP in a way that contributes to the flow of the plot, not hinders it. This means that I will be checking in with you if I feel your activity is not up to par, and if need be, I will either take control of your character or re-assign it.
Also keep in mind that this clan is a realistic roleplay with a semi-mature plot theme. There will be battles and cats will die- you should start thinking now (if you have 4+ cats) who you would want to put forward to die in battle etc.
Thanks for everyone's interest and support for this fan-clan!
I look forward to starting out with you all this saturday!

At first I was thinking something along the lines of... well starclan has let too many innocent cats die and too many evil cats just...exist.. so darker spirits started telling them stuff and sending them signs that were more clear or something so they listen to them...
but maybe something along the lines of both
too many cats died and they were innocent, so they started to "accidentally" let cats die, and then they started to not even care if they were good or bad
they could shape the clan however they wanted and nobody would question them
they're the medicine cat
they speak for the ancestors
the ancestors speak for them
but that leads for good spirited cats to kinda try and lead them back on the path...
being crazy and thinking they have the right to influence how the clan works, and maybe developing a bit of a god complex is pretty interesting... and seeing signs in blood is a concept I like x'D

So going along those lines, possibly the medicine cat is a little power hungry and wants to disregard the clan authority and gives in to killing as a way to appease the dark ancestor spirits and gain knowledge?
They could be like... the puppetmaster or something. Manipulating the leadership cos they speak for the ancestors but really the only cats they're listening to are the dark spirits who are encouraging them to kill good clanmembers and make the evil cats stronger
Idk, just trying to come up with ideas along those lines. the character is yours though so whatever you decide I'm good with!!
I was also thinking, too... I might make up a modified Warrior Code for the clan, since they're not clan cats in the traditional sense...

Blackbrook is a broad shouldered cat with green eyes and a thick black and grey pelt. As a medicine cat he quickly grew all too pleased with his status, even if he sometimes doubted his decisions. Some moons ago he strode into camp claiming that Starclan had given him a sign, shown him the way all over again, and that he had never seen more clearly. He is soothing to those who are injured, but takes secret joy in seeing wounded cats come to him; if it takes him just a bit longer to reach the wounded, if he presses cobwebs in just a tad harder than before, or if Blackbrook's eyes light up just slightly with malice as he goes to his work ...? Well, he is just eagerly doing Starclan's work.

Also, Ripplestorm will mentor Mosspaw and Blazestep will mentor Briarpaw. Let me know if you guys have any qualms with that.
I'm also going to set them as already having 2 training sessions, due to their age.
