((Jump in only as a Rogue))
Tiger opened his eyes. Sunlight fluttered in through cracks in his small den. Small, but nice den. He stands up and scents a rabbit. He walks outside and sees it. Tiger drops to a messy hunter's crouch (he was never taught) and creeps up behind the rabbit. He pounces it and in one swift move kills it. His stomach rumbles as he reaches down to take a bite. BEEEP BEEEEP! Loud noises of a car wakes up Tiger. He wasn't in a pretty forest, full of lushes trees and tastey prey. He was stuck in the city, where food was very rare to find. He went most days without eating. He sighs and stands up, shaking his fur.

Rose opened her eyes slowly, blinking as she tried to wake herself up. Delicate rays of early morning sunshine filtered their way down through the wooden structure where she had sheltered for the night. She had no permanent home here in the city- it was always move, move, move. She sighed, rising to her feet and giving her pelt a shake to dislodge the pebbles and grime that had seeped their way into her fur. She let out one big yawn, expelling the last of sleep's heavy hand. Rose peeked around the corner of the structure, checking for any threat moving down the narrow path behind buildings she used. Nothing. At least, not yet. She began cautiously moving forward, senses all on high alert. (I don't know how to make them meet lol)

Tiger sits down, licking a paw. Time to go look for food, if there's any. He sighs and starts to creep around the alley he slept in. A scent comes over him as he walks towards one of the trash cans. He jumps up and opens the lid. A box of chicken was in there. A few bare bones, but a bunch of them still had meat on them. He happily start to gobble up the chicken. It was the first meal he had in days! He takes box and lays it next to his nest, saving it for later.

Rose sniffed the air. The familiar yet rare scent of food was carried on the breeze towards her. She tried to place it, mentally running through scents in her mind. Fish? No... some sort of meat... Ah well. It's food, isn't it? She moved slowly towards it, cautious to keep an eye out for other cats. No doubt they would had smelt it too. As she reached the source of the scent, she drew back in surprise. A large tom hovered over a trash can. Which must be... Rose cursed silently as the tom drew out the box of food. Someone else had gotten to it first. Pressing herself up against the wall, she watched as the tom greedily ate most of what was left. Then he... Wait. The tom carried the rest of the box with him, placing it down at some sort of nest. Rose smiled slowly as an idea crept into her head. She hid underneath a nearby dumpster, hoping that it would help conceal her scent as well as her reddish-brown body. She watched the tom through slitted eyes, trying to stay as still as possible. Now all I have to do is wait...

Tiger smelled another cat already. He would have to protect his food. He hissed and went around the dumpster to find a scrawny she-cat, just like him, her back arched and she hissed at him. "Stay away from my food!" Tiger said trying to be scary, but pitied the she-cat she looked almost starved to death.

Rose jumped back, almost ready to fight. Then she noticed the look in the tom's eyes. Was he... pitying her? She allowed herself to relax, trying to let herself shiver. It wasn't hard- mornings were always cold in the city. "P-please," she stammered, letting her voice drop down to a quiet whisper. "I just need some food..."

Tiger stepped back. He couldn't tell if it was a trick or not. He narrowed his eyes, but relaxed. He slowly walked over to his food, took out 2 bones that had chicken meat, and went back and dropped them in front of the she-cat. "Eat, then leave, unless you have no where to go."

Linnae- A light tinkling of a small golden bell sounded off in the distance. Just a little ways off, a
blue, fluffy figure was crouching, eyeing a twoleg contraption she'd found. From its opening, she could smell a delicious scent seeping out. But she wasn't stupid. She knew what happened if she climbed in all the way to taste the juicy morsels inside. She'd seen it to many others who were desperate enough to go inside. But once they did, they never came back out, as the odd device would close them in. Then a little while later, a twoleg would take them away. But her stomach growled. Beneath her thick blue coat was nothing more than bones. She was now finding herself to be just as desperate as those ill- fated others.

Rose smiled faintly. So easy to trick... But he does seem like a nice cat... Rose shook her head, dislodging the idea before it could morph into fully fledged waves of guilt. She had gotten what she wanted. She shouldn't be sorry. Quickly, Rose ripped the meat off the bones. It was chewy, but not all together bad. At least, not compared to some other things she'd tried. She sighed, the aching hunger in her belly subsiding slightly. "Thanks," she muttered awkwardly. Her better judgement told her to leave right away, but there was something about the tom's kindness that stopped her from running.

Tiger watched as the she-cat bent down to eat. He felt bad, she was scrawnier than he was. "If you want, you can sleep here, it might be dangerous for a skinny cat like you."
