THANK YOU ALL for participating! It was so fun writing with y'all this week and I'm so excited to see everyone getting into spirit and writing some new words. Y'all did so much more than I thought could ever happen (Like 8 and 10k? You two are crazy) and half the fun was just in hearing just what you guys were creating during the span of the contest.
The contest might be over, but the writing is not! Keep on finishing those stories. And if you wrote something during this time that's now posted on here (or wattpad/figment ect) feel free to drop a link here! I don't know about you guys, but after so much writing, all I want to do is cozy down and read some other things you guys have written.
Hopefully we can do this again as soon as I have more time xD
besides, this feels like a once-in-a-while deal and not a weekly challenge anyways. We don't have enough time to write this crazy every week now xp
So I haven't written anything in a long time and I need to get some pressure to actually write something, and I know some of you will feel the same way. So I propose a little something to spice up our determination to stand up and write a bit.
The motivation: a raffle.
For every 250 words, you get a ticket.
if you get four tickets (1000 words) you can trade them in for a token.
There will be ticket baskets and one token basket that will be the 'grand prize' of sorts. The more you write, the more tickets you'll gain and the more chances you have to win.
Or, if you're me, the more chances I don't have to do extra work of making the prizes (because I'm lazy. . . you all know this). So I'm going to be working my butt off to get as many tickets as possible so I can steal the prizes from you. Good news is, if a lot of people join in, it will be just me against all you.
This is going on the honor policy; I won't ask you to post your words so I can check them, just be honest. This is to encourage all of us to do more writing together as a community.
Basket drawing will be completely randomized through use of a RNG. Everyone has a chance to win, but more tickets = more numbers = higher %
This contest will probably go throughout the week so get writing!
