Prologue
"I'm sorry Rainclaw. We can't find Foxpaw. We looked everywhere, even the other clans." The rain soaked tom bowed his head to the smaller, grey tom.
"You you're telling me that you're giving up? Larkstar, you can't just stop looking! This is my kit we're talking about. What if Nightpaw went missing?" Rainclaw growled. "What am I supposed to tell Jayleap? That she'll never see her only kit again?"
"I'll talk to her. But for now, I have a clan to run and my own son to watch after. I'm sorry." The tan tom whisked past him into the nursery. A small wail sounded from inside the dead monster. A small tuxedo tom scurried up to him.
"Did they find her yet?" Nightpaw's yellow eyes looked up at him with hope. His fur stuck to his small frame from the heavy rain fall. Rainclaw shook his head and turned away from the disappointed tom and looked out into the forest.
"No. Your father has given up the search."

Chapter 1-
The cold air blew through Foxpaw's short ginger pelt. Her eye sight blurry from the blood lost. She breathing fast and sharp trying to catch air in her lungs. A large black figure loomed over her and grabbed her by the scruff, dragging her over the rocky shore. She squinted, trying to get a better look at the large shadow but passed out before she could make it out.
When she regained consciousness, her ears filled with chirping and sharp barks of a fox. She looked around at her surroundings and noticed she was laying in the middle of a fox den. Her chest tightened and her body froze. Her breathing quickened and panic set in. She looked around more and saw not one fox but a skulk of them along with a tanish-brown and black tabby tom chirping to the foxes. She stared at horror at the tom. She wanted to cry out to him but she was afraid the vixen next to her would attack. The tom turned his head over to her and smiled.
"My name is Pine. Welcome to my den." The large tom sat down next to her. "You don't have to worry about them, they're my kin." He mewed softly, pointing to the foxes. "Now, what's your name?"
He sounded off. Almost as if he was struggling with talking. She wondered how long this tom had been here and how he got here as well as how he was living with the blood thirsty creatures.
Chapter 2-
"Foxpaw" The small she-cat said. Her chest puffed up and her eyes looking straight at him. She didn't want him to know she was intimidated by her surroundings. "I'm from Breezeclan."
Pine's eyes widened and his ears perked up. "Breezeclan?" He asked surprised. "So you're a clan cat." Foxpaw nodded quickly. The tom turned his head to his den mates and chirped. The skulk barked and chirped back to him, some looking upset or angry. Pine turned back to the injuried clan cat after yowling at the foxes to calm down. "Sorry. Some of us got in a fight with Breezeclan a few times and Kya and her kin still aren't over it."

This is a rewrite of an old fic I wrote
Nightpaw originally had green eyes and Pine had yellow eyes
