I have noticed that during certain situations, people blame one character instead of the other.
For example: People blame Crowfeather for Breezepelt turning bad. However, while he wasn't a good father, Nightcloud was no better. She's aggressive, which isn't a good thing to see, especially from your own mother, your hero, someone you're supposed to look up to until adulthood. Nightcloud wasn't the greatest parent either. She's shown him some horrible examples of aggression (like dragging Crowfeather off of Leafpool).
Another example: People blame Dovewing for Ivypool's feelings and going into the Dark Forest. Yeah.. let's explain further. Ivypool was foolish enough to believe in Hawkfrost and Tigerstar, despite hearing the nursery stories about them, and she was jealous of her sister's popularity, something Dovewing couldn't control, something Dovewing didn't even like! However, Dovewing was also oblivious to her feelings, and didn't talk about it until Ivypool finally told her. She was NOT ignoring her. Both were at fault.
What I'm trying to say is, it's just not fair to blame one character on a certain situation, especially if you judge them because you don't like them. Imo, even if you do dislike the character, try to look at both POVs instead of just one and blame the character you dislike. Characters like Crowfeather and Dovewing are one of the most hated ones in the series and blame them for certain situations the others have been through just because they don't like them.
Crowfeather is disgusting, yeah, but he's not a heartless beast.
And Dovewing isn't even as bad as people say she is. She's just poorly written.
Not all characters are monsters, and some people should look through their hatred on these characters and at least try to understand them and not just their favorites (like Ivypool and such).
