I was looking through the Graystripe Mangas when I noticed that Graystripe's owners never put a collar on him. It was a pretty bad idea that his owners let him outside without a collar.
Although it was probably a mistake on the illustrator's part.

not everyone puts collars on their cats - I've had three and we just get them chipped. Our cats virtually live outside too and they only come in for daytime naps, food or when it's raining. We put a collar on our first cat, but she didn't like it and kept finding ways to get it off. Also, cats aren't like dogs, they don't tend to wander and leave home, they have a territory to maintain. I suppose it was different in Greystripe's case, but I know lots of people who don't get cat collars.

I used to have a cat named Icy and he always got his collar off so later on we didn't even try to put one on.

i have seven cats and none of them wear collars lol

My two cats don't have collars, but that's because they're inside cats.

Well...my cat Oskar doesn't have a collor...mostly because if he goes outside then his collar might snag something and he'll be stuck or he might strangle himself.

They may have chipped him but for the record my cat never wore a collar either...None of my relatives cats have worn collars.
