Okay kewl, I'll try to respond soon. Depending on the length will sort of influence how long it'll take

((Ack. Length. XD I don't know what you prefer. I'll try and match whatever you want because I can do just about anything except for the ones that are, like, ten pages. Alright, quick intros of a handful of my characters. ^.^" I couldn't choose just a few.))
Drake was still in high school. It seemed pointless to be in school given the current state of the city, but here he was, leaving the rundown building with a headache brought on by the wrath of a thousand years of math. Walking through the streets of Aestuo, Drake tried to stick to the shadows and make himself be easily overlooked. He didn't want trouble, but wasn't that all there was in Aestuo? He longed to no longer be part of this city, to be able to move up to Venere or maybe even leave for Lumine. But Lumine had strict laws on people moving into the city ever since Master took over Mors Ubre and basically owned Spera as well. And so here Mason was, finding himself stuck.
Jace didn't want the job he had. Jace didn't like anything that he did. He hated his dad for moving them to Mors Ubre from Lumine. He hated his dad for getting him this dumb job as one of Master's soldiers. And he hated that his dumb job was literally as a gate guard to control the flow of traffic from Venere into Aestuo and vice versa. Citizens of Aestuo weren't allowed in Venere and people wanting to return to Venere had to provide an ID proving it was him. It was horrible.
Although Zia lived in Aestuo, she had managed to get work in Venere so she was allowed to go back and forth now. She was now at work in a little, empty coffee shop, staring out the window. She watched as a few kids her age headed home from school and all she could feel was jealousy. It wasn't fair that these kids were guaranteed a full education, but it wasn't like there was anything she could do about it.

so I noticed one of your characters talk about education, is there a certain class that recieves education or how does that work?

|

Post by Winona on Feb 16, 2017 17:38:58 GMT -5
((Ah, yes. No, not really specified by class, but given the state of Aestuo, many kids have to drop out and work to support themselves and their family, so I imagine it would be harder for anyone living in Aestuo, and then education would be guaranteed in the other classes.))

{My starters are anywhere from one to four paragraphs, after that they tend to be around one to two} Now Belle isn't what you would normally expect from an assassin, not at all. She seemed to have this very trusting air about her, and a very false one it was. She wasn't trusting, and if you knew her, you wouldn't trust her as far as you could throw her. But, she couldn't blame you for that, no one who knew her took a liking to Belle, which may be the smartest decision you have ever made in your life. It would be suicide to think otherwise. Although, most people didn't know Belle Friesenhahn. To most, she was like any other wealthy citizen in the inner ring of the city.
So what was she doing here then, in Auesto of all places? Good question, she wanted to get away. Perhaps more physically than mentally. She had told quite a few lies to get where she was, and used her position to gain the upper hand, but now, she done with it. There were only so many jobs you can handle before it became overwhelming. And Belle was far passed that point. She looked down at her feet as she walked, though there was no need, no one in this city had seen her face before. But apparently someone was about to when she practically rammer right into a man, and fell back a few steps. "God [curse] it." She said in a slightly angry, slight surprised tone when she stood upright again and looked at the face of the man she had run into.

((Alright! ^.^))
Drake stumbled back a bit and for a moment, was surprised to have run into anyone at all. Generally he kept a good eye out but alas, it was destined for him to get distracted by a few people across the street. It took him a moment to look the girl up and down. "Are you alright?" He asked, head tilted slightly to the side, genuine concern on his face from running into someone. This girl didn't look quite like she belonged down here, but who was Drake to judge? "I'm sorry. I guess I got distracted.

{Sorry it's short >.<} Belle brushed herself off, making sure there were no smudges on her dark clothing. Her different colored eyes - one brown, one blue - seemed to have a slightly annoyed look in them before one of more exasperation. She sighed and ran a hand through her hair out of stress. "Yeah I'm fine." It was so hard to try and stay calm when you were basically running away from the Master. "I should have been less of an idiot and payed attention to where I was going." She sighed.

((It's fine. >.< I'm sorry for disappearing. My excuse is GOATS.))
Drake laughed. "Well you could say the same for me. I wasn't paying attention, either. We were both being stupid!" His pale silver eyes were sparkling at the joke and he was grinning, something that was relatively unseen given the current state of the city. But when Drake was in the right state of mind, he was a generally positive, optimistic guy. "I haven't seen you around before. Are you new?" Of course, the population of Aestuo was big enough that chances were Drake and this girl could have been living here since they were born and they never would have run into each other. But it was a nice conversation starter.
