OOC I'd love to Liz, I've got Elliott, Norman, Teo, Alistair, Niko, Ty, Matilda, and Kai open!
IC Quarantine grumbled slightly. "Well then I would just be broken," he said as if it was simply, giving a small shrug of his shoulders. "Besides, we have good engineers and mechanics, I am certain they can always fix me, it's more of just an annoyance when I break myself..." he explained, trailing off as he thought about it. If he was human maybe he wouldn't break himself so easily.
-
Hector frowned, placing his hands on his hips. "Well that's no good. You broke it," he said with a shake of his head, giving an overdramatized sigh. "I'll have to make a new, better one. Pick up this mess and give Dagger dear her knives back," he ordered, taking off his glasses in favor of the goggles on his head, snapping them over his eyes. "I'm gonna go work on some new gadgets, we're so close to ruling the world, it's getting boring almost," he explained with a shake of his head.

(Sure I'll have Mason find him. Also sorry I'm not the best rper either.)
Mason padded around the infirmary, his hands buried in his jacket pockets. He loved his jacket. it was his father's once, and now his. He loved it and nearly never took it off. Even though he was a field medic, he did have enough training to work on patients here that weren't things minor. Although he could't do surgery and things of the like, the doctors did that. Mostly though he used the patients as training for Norman too, with him watching over of course, just in case. He saw Cal at the front desk and, seeing as he was bored, he padded over to him. "Hey Cal." He said.
-----
Jessie shrugged. "Oh I don't mind doing that with you don't worry." She said with a smile. "I was just going to bring you out of the compound for a bit, show you around y'know?" She told him with a warm smile. She didn't care if he wanted to or not, it was the only thing she could think of right now.

Erin was scared to leave the compound, he wasn't ever really good with being away from thenonly place he would consider safe. But he wouldn't mention it to her, he decided he'd play the part of some tough guy who he definitely was not. "That sounds great" he said with a forced smile, he was worried to leave but didn't make it obvious to her. "How long do you think we'll be out there? My brother migjt want to know" he asked

No worries here! Your reply looks fine) Cal didn't look up. He spent enough time with the doctors and Mason to have their voices committed to memory. As greeting, Cal simply asked, "Did you know Alice put in for more bandages? She was on my case yesterday for having too much with me for when we head out. Can you believe that?" He snorted in disbelief. Cal had a somewhat strange relationship with his coworkers - he only really considered Mason a friend, seeing as the two worked together the most and saw some of the worst things together. Their situation would make anybody friends. With the others, it varied. "I take as much as you!" At this point, he closed the file and tossed it on the desk and leaned back in the chair to look at Mason. "Where's Normie? Give him the day off?" OOC I'm dyingggg, that's amazing. Yes call him Normie. I love it. ICText

OOC It's perfect and I love it so much.
I can just imagine Norman being the little brother figure to all the other medics, he's practically been raised by them and his brothers.
Also alright Liz, I'll post a starter then!

OOC Sorry it's so short.
IC Elliott was in the hospital wing, sitting at a desk and going over medical files. He was clearly very focused on the matter at hand and of course had locked himself away from the others and instead was by himself. Though that's what he preferred. Lunch could wait, his studies were far more important, besides, Elliott couldn't say he was particularly fond of any of the others there anyways.

Toni prided herself in noticing others habits, no matter how small. For example: Elliot preferred to distance himself from the others, mainly the rest of the medical staff, and would blame it on his work load. However, when she had nothing better to do, or if she had nicked a finger on her butterfly knife again, she'd find herself peering through the small window of his door to watch him, and wait for him to reach a paying point before she'd knock. But today, it was a rather nasty cut on her wrist and she didn't trust other doctors as much as she did Elliot. Knocking on the door, she called through the glass, "Take your time Elli, it's just a nick, I'm not dying." Of course, today she underestimated the cut; normally she'd be practically dying from a paper cut. "Oh, and I brought some lunch too!"

IC Elliott gave a small sigh at the nickname but stood up all the same, closing his current work for the time being to look over at her and give her a vaguely annoyed look as he beckoned her inside. "It's an injury, I'll get to treating it. How bad is it?" He questioned with a slightly raised brow as he pushed his chair back, leaving his desk behind as he brought a hand up to rub through his sleeked back black hair. He didn't like being bothered, especially not when he was working on something, wether it was important or not. However, it was easiest to just treat it and move on as fast as he could. Plus he hardly trusted the other medics here to take a look at it. He was the most experienced and seniored doctor here, which obviously meant he was the best to treat any injury brought to his attention, no matter how small or large it was.

"Well it bled through the temporary gauze I used," Toni replied, one sleeve of her light blue shirt missing as she walked in, cradling her left arm. "It's a thin cut though, maybe only a stich or two." Walking past him to sit down, she dropped a brown paper bag on his desk and said, "Peanut butter and jelly was all I could manage to grab. Cook didn't want me bleeding out in the kitchen," she laughed before crossing her legs, her right foot resting on her left knee, revealing all the doodles on the bottom of the shoe, both faded and new. "But enough about me, how has your day been Doc?"

IC Elliott took a look at it. "Hmm. It's not too bad, I'll get my stuff," he told her as he walked off, only to return a few moments later with a small box of his tools, which he opened up and pulled out a disinfectant wipe and started to clean up the wound, not really caring if it stung her, if it did that meant it was working. "My day has been fine, normal. Now hold still, I'm going to stitch it up," he told her once he had probably cleaned it out. His bed side manners sucked, but he did really good at his job and wasn't that kind of the entire point of being a doctor?

(So sorry!)
Mason chuckled at his complaint and nodded. "Yeah that does sound annoying. Perhaps she's just complaining to you cause she likes you and wanted a reason to talk to you." He teased playfully. He had no idea honestly, he was just having fun with his friend. "Ah she's good though, a valuable asset." He shrugged. It was nothing strange of him to call someone that. Not that he only thinks of them as assets though, it was just how he spoke. He leaned on the desk. "Normie? He's free to do what he wants today. He's been working hard and learning quickly so he deserves it." He said, his smile growing slightly.
-----
Jessie shook her head and waved her hands somewhat dismissively. "Less then an hour, I just wanted to show you around." She explained sweetly, but heard the caution in his voice so she just pretended to play it off. "Ah it's fine we can find something to do here. It's no big deal I was just spit balling." She said with a smile.

(I was reading over the characters cause I was bored and realised Chase is the oldest in the resistance so far! I know it's not a big deal but it fits perfectly for him! Being the oldest and most experienced in his field (I'd assume), which is why he is in his position of reconnaissance and infiltration! And sometimes supply raids. Sorry I'm ranting, I just found it cool.XD)

"N-no, lets go. I haven't been outside for really long." Erin said and gave a nervous smile. "And besides, my place is pretty boring." He added before biting his lip, he was obviously trying way too hard to look brave? No cool. Yeah, Erin was desperate to look cool so he would go anywhere with her to try and look anything but scared.

Cal snorted, again, at Mason's remark. "I'm the love of her life, I'm sure." Cal said this in his sarcastic humor, of course. He didn't have much love for the people who called themselves doctors and holed themselves in the base day-round. Cal had voiced this opinion to Mason, too - he and Mason were in a ship of their own. It was the two of them, while the others stayed at base, waiting for the two of them to come home at the end of the day and report casualties and whatnot. Cal was also bitter because he felt that, sometimes, he was considered the lowest-ranking because he taught himself everything he knew, so his style of healing was the bare basics and not very compassionate. After hearing the news about Norman, Cal let out a whistle. "That's nice of you." What Cal didn't add was if Normie was his, he wouldn't let him out of his sight. "Normie's a good kid. You're doing good work with him. But only if he wasn't so damn annoying."

(Same, it's great!XD)
Mason looked around for a moment to see if there were any doctors around. No, there weren't. "Who knows, only time will tell if she does." He laughed. Honestly he didn't mind the doctors, they had their job and he had his. Though he and Cal probably had a more dangerous job being in the line of fire. One well placed bomb and they'd be dead. The only doctor he just did not like was Elliot. He seemed to think that just cause he's the oldest he should be first priority and the others only get a job when he's busy. He laughed again at his remark. "Ha! Yeah he can be annoying a lot. I'm afraid if I call him anything other then Norman he'll take it as a flirt." He mused to him. The kid wasn't bad though really. "Ah I'm doing my best with him." Mason had offered to train Cal a bit more multiple times too.

She still didn't think he wanted to go, but if he asked she'll accept. She smiled and rubbed his shoulder for a moment. "Okay then." She started out the door. "Your place isn't boring though, I like it." She added somewhat flirtatiously.

(Something should happen to either of them while they're out there, it'd be fun)
Erin gave her a nod as she rubbed his shoulder, he followed her towards the door trying to keep hos breathe steady. If anything had happened to her and they were in trouble he wouldn't be able to do much, he was just a doctor after all. Not a field medic or anything of the sort. "What do you want to do out there, anyways?"

I still have Fel free, S'more? - When Mason had offered, a few times, to help train Cal to get him on everyone else's level, Cal took that as a jab against his pride and his ability. After all, his success rate was pretty high and his reputation was pretty good, even if no one was overtly happy to see Cal Davenport's face in one of the worst moments of their life. No, Cal was just upset no one would get off their high horse to get down on Cal's level to see he was a pretty good medic, regardless of how he learned his trade. "Oh, god, the last thing I need is that kid trying to get in my pants." Cal said this lovingly - he truly did love Normie, even if he didn't act like it all the time. The kid was like a little brother to him, so Cal felt like it was his duty to give the kid a hard time, even when he wasn't physically with him. "Y'know, Mr. High-and-Mighty's in his office, holed away from the rest of us commoners, so he probably won't mind if we take leave for a little bit. We can try to find one of the bigwigs and see if they know the next time we're heading out?" He offered. The one thing that was nice about being a medic, one of only two, meant that Cal and Mason were higher-ranking individuals. They knew most of the attack plans, strategies, and intelligence (all of those to a certain degree) that the others didn't - it helped them prepare supplies and their own strategies. The bigwigs, namely Delilah and Xavier, normally got annoyed when the two kids came knocking on their door, but they needed to know what they needed to know. Cal wasn't sure if Delilah and Xavier were free, anyway, but he figured it'd be nice to get out of the infirmary for once in their day.
