Xavier stepped into the lounge area, eyes squinting as he searched the room for something, a file tucked under his arm. He'd been organizing things all day and was fairly certain that his eyes were failing him, so he almost didn't quite see Quarantine at first. Blinking, he did a slight double-take as he took a step forward. "Oh-! Are you um....are you supposed to be doing that?" he asked tentatively, eyebrow raised in question.
Argus glanced up at Hector from his book, looking a little bit annoyed with his theatrics. Well, that was hard to say, Argus always looked annoyed, that was just kind of how his face was made. "Darts?" he echoed, sounding unsure of exactly how the game was played. He hadn't read anything about darts. Lowering the book, he whipped his head around and stared at the dart board as if it would reveal its secrets to him. He hadn't paid any attention at all.

IC Quarantine looked up from his tinkering just as the screwdriver lunged itself into his wrist, it sparked for a few moments and then fell dead. "...Probably not," he said, glancing down at his now broken arm. He would have to have someone fix it later, until then it looked like it was just hanging there. "I'll get it fixed later. What are you doing?" He asked with a tilt of his head, looking over at the second in command, Xavier.
-
Oh right, the adopted one. Hector couldn't say he favored him, he preferred it when his children were his, he had more control that way, ignoring the first one of course. "Yes Argus, darts. But with knives," he added with a grin. "You throw them at the dart board and hope they hit the center for more points! It's fun," he explained and clapped his hands. "You should play, good bonding exercise."

[ omfg the adopted one- ]
Xavier just shook his head with a little sigh at Quarantine, slapping the rather full folder down onto one of the tables and walking over to him, gesturing for him to pass the screwdriver. "Nothing interesting, just running papers and plans. You know how it is- most of the time im just a hot secretary," he joked with a snort.
Argus fiddled with the corners of the book's cover, staring at the dart board. He got to his feet. "Isn't it a little unfair if I play? Im a robot," he pointed out as he approached the dart board, ripping some of the knives free with ease. He wasn't sure if he was comfortable with Hector throwing knives anywhere near him.

OOC Well he sees most of them as his children but he didn't make Argus, so yep, adopted one. Argus, you're adopted.
IC Quarantine let out a breathless sigh and passed the screwdriver over, feeling a bit like what one would explain as a child who had messed up and had his toy taken away. Though he gave what he could of a laugh when Xavier continued. "Well, I guess it would be better to be a hot secretary than a not hot one, because then you would be cold and in need of a blanket, correct?" He asked, in what he hoped fit in as a joke or something along the lines. He wasn't great at human humor.
-
"And I have very good aim. Trust me boy, I can handle you in a match of darts," Hector told him and held his hand out. "Dagger-dagger me," he said with a snicker and she pulled some more knifes out of her compartments, handing them over to the human, at this rate she was going to run out, but at least he seemed to be having fun. "Yes, alright I'll even let you start, Argus."

Cal Davenport | 20 | Male | Heterosexual | Primarily field medic/medic Cal stands at a long yet nicely muscled 6'5" - he gets most of his height from his legs, which are very long. Paired with his broad shoulders and height, from the back, one could easily see Cal as imposing, without even seeing his face, which definitely makes him formidable. He has a short yet messy head of dark brown hair that borders on black and olive skin, paired with dark blue eyes that can pass as brown from a distance. Cal has a face that makes him look quite disinterested, annoyed, or even superior - his default facial expression is a whisper of a frown, and his eyes constantly look as if they're calculating the situation. Cal is also the proud owner of two scars on his face - a thin one that cuts through his right eyebrow, and a thick one that runs across his left cheek, which are trophies of his childhood growing up on the streets. That's where he picked up his medical ability. He was known to treat injured street rats for trades or money, and got pretty good pretty quick. Personality wise, Cal is a very logical person - he sees only in black and white, mainly; he's very strong, opinionated, and independent. However, he's known to have a sarcastic or dry sense of humor, which only some people enjoy, seeing as he has no filter whatsoever. Once people are forced to spend some time with Cal, though, they are usually surprised to see that he's not the cool and calculating person he seems to be, but rather a loyal friend and a pretty caring person, which actually makes him a decent medic. | яєɗ ɗαωη | Resistance
Felicity 'Fel' Archeron | 18 | Female | Heterosexual | Other - Mechanic Felicity stands at 5'8" and is proud of it. She's appropriately muscled for her height and age, which she thanks is to growing up in her father's mechanics shop - she was never big into exercising, but thanks lugging around heavy parts in the shop for her muscle. Felicity keeps her dirty blonde hair just long enough so she can pull it back while working, so it reaches just to her shoulders, if not a little past. Fel is the owner of hazel eyes which are good at reading people. Felicity also has a friendly-looking face - the edges of her lips are always quirked up into a faint smile; her eyes always give off a playful gleam, as well. When she does smile, it always looks mischievous, which she is. Fel is quick to joke and quick to smile, being just an overall friendly person, but she isn't overpowering. While she is friendly, she's a little introverted; she doesn't mind being alone, and prefers if people initiate conversation with her first. Regardless, even if she is a friendly person, she finds it hard to trust others on a friendly level, even though she's very open. Felicity doesn't mind talking about her past, which she considered "normal", to a certain degree. She was the youngest of three, the daughter of a single father who was a mechanic, who specialized mainly in physical machines that used AI. Felicity was the apple of her father's eye, and took her into the shop all the time, and taught her the ins and outs of tinkering, as he called it, and she had a certain knack for it. Felicity figured she'd go to university to get a degree to help build AI, since she had some knowledge about their workings thanks to her father. However, after her father's death when she was sixteen, she shunned the idea and joined the Resistance, where she became the Base's fixit woman. | яєɗ ɗαωη | Resistance
Fel and Cal are total opposites of each other how fun The reason why Fel might be a little strangely written compared to Cal is her personality is something I'm not familiar with. Hopefully they're good! (: -

Jessie looked at him and tilted her head. "A game system? What like an arcade?" She asked. She was actually thinking of showing him outside the compound. She guessed he hadn't been there before, plus she had been a lot so she thought it would be fun.

"Yeah, kinda" Erin said and scratched the back of his neck, he figured she didn't want to by the sound of her voice so he looked down at the ground, "but I mean we don't have to do that" he said before looking at Jessie "do you have any ideas?"

Xavier chewed at his bottom lip, unsure if he was supposed to laugh at that or not. It was a charming failure of a joke, as practical as it was. "Yep. But gosh if I was any hotter! I would burst into flames," he exclaimed sarcastically, staring down at Quarantine's hand carefully. Most of the time people didn't ask him for help with engineering work, but he knew a thing or two, and grabbed the bot's wrist to inspect it, squinting.
Argus wasn't very fond of being called boy. Or a child. Or someone's child at all. He understood that it was meant as a term of endearment in this scenario and not literally, but he did not regard Hector as his maker. He held up the knives in his hand and looked over at the dart board, analyzing and calculating carefully. Throwing one, it hit straight in the middle, and the other two landed right beside the first with pin-point accuracy, barely a millimeter away from each other. Argus looked over at Hector, crossing his arms over his chest. The knives hit with such force the board cracked in the middle. Argus raised a metal brow.

hm, well, I can throw Cal into the infirmary and one of the other medics could just run into him? (Maybe Mason, bc I think those boys would be friendly at least). I don't think I'm gonna rp Fel just yet I'm not the best at starters, to bear w/ me y'all)
The infirmary was quiet - the way Cal liked it to be. It was the way the other guys - and Alice - liked it, too. It meant everyone, for the time being, was okay, which was a relief, but even if there was an emergency and someone walked into the infirmary, it probably wouldn't be Cal treating them. Cal worked out in the field - meaning he was only around to keep people alive long enough to get back to base, or to treat minor injuries as quick as he possibly could. Even if someone walked in with the common cold he wouldn't be allowed to touch them, since the trainee, Norman, would deal with it so he could get as much experience as he could. That's how he justified sitting at the desk at the front of the infirmary, flicking through inventory papers, making a list of what he needed next time a runner went into the city to pick up supplies. He wasn't thrilled by it, either; he hated inventory calls, but it was all he could do until he got called away.

OOC That's good Jac.
IC Quarantine wasn't sure if that was another joke or not, so he gave another one of his laughs, a bit surprised when Xavier actually started to focus on his wrist. He had assumed that he was just taking the screwdriver away from Quarantine because well, he messed up. Hector used to take away his things if he ended up breaking himself somehow.
-
Hector smirked and grabbed a tighter hold of his own knifes and tossed one, it hit the middle, under Argus', then he threw the next, it landed just above Argus', then he focused on the last and tossed it, this one went into the circle just outside of the center, only centimeters from it. He grinned and laughed. "Guess you win that round," he said, clearly not beaten up over it.

Xavier frowned a bit as he concentrated, taking the screwdriver and fiddling with Quarantine's wrist as carefully as he could manage. It wasn't as if he broke a whole lot, but he made an effort to twist a few screws and put some wires back where they belonged. "Can you move your arm? Geez, you really shouldn't mess with yourself like this. What if you do something that none of us can fix?"
Argus watched the knives hit. "I do not understand the point of this game," he commented, walking over to the board to remove his own knives. Ripping one free, the board split straight up the middle and fell to the ground, scattering knives by his feet. He threw a look over his shoulder at Hector that was more confused than ever. Was this a part of the game? Was it supposed to break?
